Low headphone volume? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I've been using BSPlayer and MX Player to watch videos. Thing is, volume is pretty low. Up to the point where I have to pause the movie and wait for a bus to pass since I cannot hear a dialog. Anyone ran into same issue? Are there any apps that will boost volume? I am rooted, if it matters.

Weak sound when using headset!

I have experienced a weak sound during listening music thru audio manager. I wonder if there is any way like modifying Audiopara3.csv in Touch Diamond. Please help.
Can't say the same really. I've been using the HTC bluetooth headset with no volume issues. Haven't yet tried the supplied wired headset.
Same question here... The sound on my Rose is extremely weak as well, e.g. it is impossible to listen to podcasts in a train. Is there no way to change this ??
Just a thought, though I'm sure that this is obvious enough so that you guys probably already tried it: turn up the system volume with the two buttons on the left side of the device.
.-ombre-.
i have the same problem over here, i have been told that this could have to do with european regulations. Something with the amount of decibels allowed.
There is a audio boost option in the menu but with a bluetooth headset this option does not work.
If there is a solution to this problem i would be happy to learn about it
Does it sound any better using media player? I think media player has a better sound but audio manager has an equaliser. Try using that to boost the sound.
AVE...
Use Pocket Player.
While using select: Menu>More>Options>Advanced and check "Use and set device volume". Then press on the side of Rose Volume Down button once and Volume Up button to max volume. This will double max volume.
BTW, for podcasts and audiobooks Pocket Player is the best, because it can autoresume last played file to exact point. I use it all the time because all my audiobooks are chopped into 30 minutes long MP3's. Neither AudioManager nor WMP can do it.
My solution was to change the profile to Outdoors and then edit the volume in this profile to loud. It works a lot better.
However I have Pocket Player installed and Urgon's solution works like a charm. Thanks man !

[Q] Static in Volume buttons

During music play, has anyone else noticed small amount of static when changing volume. This happens to me particularly when increasing the volume control. However, it is very inconsistent. When I say static, I mean there is a volume increase (or decrease) with some amount of "other" sound added in. This was not something I noticed with my ipod touch and was just curious if anyone else has this or it's a hardware or software issue.
Do you see when playing music through the speaker only, or with earphones as well?
Speaker is not clear enough to hear if there is any audible noise during volume increase or decrease. . . also hear it when using other music players such as cubed. Also, I was listening through my earphones to Avatar and even though the audio is very clear, when increasing and decreasing the volume I still hear what I guess is better described as a small pop instead of static. That might be a better description for the music noise as well.
Static, crackle, pop
I've been listening to audio books on my Vibrant lately and I've noticed this happening a lot. I've heard it through headphones and I have even heard popping / crackling on the speaker when it plays notification sounds.
Did this turn out to be a defect or is it an issue that everyone has occassionally but just ignores?
Thanks
Does this happen when using the on-screen volume control in the music app or only the rocker button?
Mine will actually crackle even when I'm not touching it.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Yes mine too. It will sporadically "skip" in all music players whether I'm using headphones or not.
Vibrant vibrating nicely now,Kthx!

allshare sound issues.

I'm having a bizarre issue with my allshare. I'm using a Samsung 6400tv and my rogers s3 i747m
when I first connect to allshare the sound is tinny and the volume is very low. I just though that's how allshare was for volume.
I was listening to music today and took a photo with the allshare still hooked up. After the photo came up the music paused for a second and then was really rich sounding. you could really hear the sub and the music was twice as loud. I thought this was a fluke but I've replicated it twice now.
any suggestions?
edit. I've actually also replicated this by turning the ringer up while under allshare. the ringer comes on to show the volume level, and then when I turn it off again the music come back richer and better. if I go to watch a video though it gets worse again.

Annoying audio stutter

Hello,
I was unable to find anything on the problem I am having with my stock HTC One X+.
When listening to music often there would be stutter. Sometimes more than once in one song, other times it wont happen at all.
The stutter sounds like: song playing>stutter>song plays in lower volume for no more than one second>stutter>continues normally.
Oh and also there is this other thing when a song starts then there is a brief moment that the volume lowers and then goes up again to normal. On PowerAmp Music Players.
I hope I explained my problem well.
Phone is HTC One X+
Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5, but using Next Launcher
This happens on every music player i mainly use PowerAmp.
Have you tried to reboot your device? Does this happen also during games?
The problem is PowerAmp. In PowerAmp's audio settings disable direct volume control.
I tried what sixcarnage suggested but it didn't do an good.
The problem doesn't occur in games, but on every music player and not with Poweramp only, I have tried a few and it was the same. I hqve turned off EQ, beats audio and SRS and the problem is still present.
And no restarting does not work.
I experience sometimes audio problems while playing games, but those are random and rare, a reboot helps me always.
What about headphones?
Now that I played for a longer period of time on a game with music the stutter also happens in a game.

What is the best "loud" and free music player for android?

Hey everyone! Does anyone know any free and loud music player? Similar to what power amp is offering?
My phone is suffering from low volume playback and I'm in need of a loud music player!
I tried many music players and finally gave up...since none of them boosted my volume like poweramp did... I can't purchase poweramp at the moment,so I'm looking for alternatives

Hey Vaisakh7!
I just tried Redsone DCT and it sounds just like the rest of them...I mean the sound is a bit clearer, but the volume is still too low compared to poweramp.
My poweramp trial will expire tomorrow and I really need alternative :$
