Hi,
Usually I use web-based market and send softwares to my phone.
Today, I opened market on my phone and clicked on one of categories to browse it, but market crashed and I had to FC.
I tried again with different categories and same problem. I should say that using search or any other part of market works, except browsing a category.
I'm using official 2.3.4 Rom (.42).
Does anyone have any idea?

If stock...then clear market data, settings, cache. Reboot. Try change Google password.

Actually lol I said/typed that wrong u can't.
From home screen hit menu/settings/application/manage applications/ and then find market in the list and clear data and uninstall app updates. All u gotta do is reboot, i would reboot recovery and wipe cache and dalvik just cause I could. Then reboot and open market click agree and see if it worked.

Thanks. No dice though. I even installed a new market apk. I think it's my account BC I tried an old nandroid backup and got the same error...

Maybe you can add a second Gmail account as a temp fix thenew market lets you download from market with multiple accounts.
Try menu settings accounts and sync and add yourself another Gmail address then go to market and let it finish loading up the main page then hit menu and select accounts. See if that might work. Sorry if it doesn't help I don't really know what it could be.

You mean like reflashing the firmware? It's still stock. Haven't done anything to it yet.

Just clear the app data of google maps in Settings>Application manager.
If that doesn't fix the hang then try re-installing the app from the market.
If even the 2nd tip fails, then root the phone and clear cache partition in CWM recovery.
But I think the 1st tip should work just fine.
I don't have a credit card on file. I mainly dl free apps. All of a sudden i try 2 download a free app and its sayin "error processing order" what gives

Wipe cache and data for play store.
You could also try installing from the website.

I found the fix. Aparently this is a problem with the play store. you only get the error code with free apps. Paid apps work and updates as well. You go to accounts and sync in system settings. Unsync and sync your google account...reboot. If that doesnt do it,delete your google acct and sign back in. Wah lah. Worked for me
I've had that issue pop up in the past but it always seemed to resolve itself.

Sometimes the "error processing" issue is persistent. If that happens, wipe cache and data for Google Play and also for Google services framework. Fixes the issue every time. =)

Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped?
Interesting. Try clearing cache and data, if that fails, install a copy of Play Store from AndroidPolice or something, and push to /system/app, if THAT fails, try a factory reset. If for what ever reason, THAT fails, your stuck.
(P.S I have no responsibilty if you mess up your device trying to Factory Reset or installing another copy of Google Play.)
