I am running galaxy task 10 but i seem too have a horrid triangle on bootup.
Can anyone help me remove it !

on my E4GT, if you flashed a kernel that triggered the odin count or the yellow triangle, you could easily get rid of it by running Triangle away, available on XDA or the market; does that method work on this phone too, or is there another way to get rid of the yellow triangle?

I don't think the ATT note has that issue. It happened on my ATT S2 but gone after the JIG. Note doesn't have that yellow triangle or I never seen any after flashed the ROM or kernel.

There is an Odin reset counter in the development section. It is flashable through CWM.

Hi there I'm looking at rooting my Galaxy S2 (4.0.3), however it is an Orange one and i cannot find a guide for the build number which is I9100BVLPB. Will the XWLPD version work for me or is there another i need to use?
I have had a search of the forums but the only thread that looked promising had the answers removed.
Anyway thanks for your help in advance. Sorry if this is a really silly question.

Under the ICS heading, download and flash via odin, you will have a yellow triangle but that can be removed if you read the 2nd post I think in his thread

Takes less than 2 minutes and is easy as pie

thanks for the help guys, I've followed the instructions you gave me but now my phone wont boot, it gets stuck after the "galaxy s2" screen with the triangle then i just get a black screen,

Take out battery and wait a few minutes, put back in and reboot.
Try it 3 times and if it doesn't work reflash the CF-Root kernel.
This has happened to me and I had to reflash CF-Root.

Flas your stock kernel. Then use method 1 in my signature, it will work and no bootloop risk or yellow triangle

hey guys im a noob about rooting and stuff but ive rooted my sgs s2 with succes with the cya ics kernel and after that i downloaden cm9 stable version but after a while i decided i want more than just one rom so i installed dualboot for s2 the application himself had some instructions i thougt i get it so i clicked on flash kernel after that they ask do you want to reboot your phone i sayed yes and my phone rebooted (before i did it there was a pop-up what said it may take a while so you have enough time to drink a cup of tea or coffee) so my phone was going to reboot and that is the problem it never starts fully all is see is samsung galaxy s2 gt-i9100 and a yellow triangle with "!" in it thats all he does i can enter download mode but thats it
so guys can you help me please i ve no idea what to do now and my phone means a lot for me (and cost a lot to)

Hello Guys,
Im in deep troble here have an S3 and rooted it in 10 minutes, Now being a nice guy my friend gave me his samsung s2 to root and boy oh boy i am in trouble. After trying to root phone through Odin my phone is stuck on boot screen with triangle. I used Odin 1.85 and flashed SPHD710 kernel. Then i flashed recovery kernel, im so confused there seems to a million stock kernels to use and im not sure which build this is but its older. I can not get yellow triangle off i just want the get phone back to factory settings and start over. Please please help me with this so basically what i need is
1) Get Yellow triangle off
2) Root phone correct way (what ever website i used i followed closely and now have locked friends phone

OP, do NOT flash anything from this forum. The device that this forum is for is the GT-I9100, which is a different device than the Sprint Galaxy SII. The GT-I9100 is a GSM phone that doesn't even work on Sprint's network.

That might be, but that doesn't change the fact that the device you are working with is an Epic 4G Touch (SPH-D710), and not an I9100. I9100 users will typically not be able to help you, and files in this forum will not get you out of the situation you have created by doing just that; using a file from this forum, on a device that it was not meant for.
You will find many E4GT users have done the same. They were all likewise directed to the correct forum.

Soo all i wanted to do was update to jellybean on my galaxy s2 GTI9100T and next minute i was stuck on the screen with 'firmware update incounted an issue...' and the triangles and such. then I tried odin or some sort of recovery that i probably shouldnt have since i dont really know what i'm doing but anyway. Now my phone is stuck on the Samsung logo screen with a yellow triangle and wont do anything else. I can access both download and recovey mode but am unsure what to do from here.
Any help would be really appreciated.
I have read so many threads on this but unsure which parts really apply to me. I live In New Zealand, i dont know if this matters.
