[Q] 150-160 (Avail+free) RAM on wolf's gaming rom? - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just installed the wolf v7b6 gamin rom. I thot it'l give me more ram since my previous one, his ubldm gives me around 200+ for both avail and free.. Was just wondering if it's normal? that the gaming version gives me just around 150-160 total RAM?
here are my specs..
- 2.3.3 wolf vb76
- doomkernel-v06-FS
- baseband 2.1.7.7
TY..

My personal recommendation is UlBlDoom, it has great Speed+Battery and the best Tweaks becouse it offers me alot more possibilities of tweaking then the other ROMs. Its on par with the Gaming Version the only thing that is different is that the Gaming Version has extreme Virtual Memory and Taskkiller Values while the UlBlDoom has more friendly ones for a everyday ROM whit features like Timescape,FBiX2...

and I think it's something related with the "extreme virtual memory and taskkiler values" for the decrease of RAM.. and ulbldoom has more tweaks than the gaming ver.. but I really think gaming ver. is alot-lot more faster than ulbldoom if you really play all day.

Yup, Filipino po ako.. uhm, the thing that i cant get is why is it that there's only less available ram, since the concept of it being a gaming rom should be more free ram+high speed.. (pls correct me if am wrong).. ty

[Q] Best custom ROM for gaming ? [03.2012]

Hi!
Right now im using "Donut HD 2.1 + XperiaS 309 Performance"
Doomkernel Medium OC kernel, 24/7 OC @ 245/1075 (SmartassV2; sio)
Benchmarks:
Is there something better for gaming right now ?
try feralabs extreme edition v12
and
wolf breaks gaming rom
I don't know but don't look on bechmarks - they aren't showing the best ROM for gaming, clean performance is a key for it.
try feralabs
feralabs extreme edition is the best you can get on x10.
my benchmark reached 3400 with the boost gpu!

[Q] Which is the best rom for gaming?

I have tried many roms, from GB to ICS but I always feel unsatisfied. Cause some laggy, so can you tell me which is the best rom and kernel for gaming on my vibrant?

(Q) Best gaming ROM/Configuration for x10 mini pro

Hey guys~! I was wonderin' whats the best rom/configuration for gaming on x10 mini pro....
-by configuration, I mean cpu governor, tweaks, mods, etc, etc~!
-by rom... i guess i dont have to explain this anymore~...
:fingers-crossed:
Sorry, didn't understand what you mean by ROM ¬¬ lol...
Ok, just kiddin , anyway... When I used to play on my X10 Mini Pro, I used MiniCM7Pro lite with Fa kernel, with the OC at: 480Mhz~720Mhz, and performance governo
Anyway, already used 2.1.Clean.0.0 (or something like this) with Stock kernel and no OC and no performance change to play too, amazing ROM I must say.
About nAa ROMs, they are good, but, I don't know why, my gaming experience was better with those two ROMs above, now it's up to you, already gave you my tip
Good gaming - Nowadays I use my Xoom to play

I agreed with XxLordxX, the best performance come within eclair/froyo rom they used small cost of RAM, and that means you can spend more on other app.
XxLordxX, which is the best tweaked froyo rom for everyday use?

Well I'm not sure, the best froyo ROM I used was FroyoBread or something like this
"This Story Ends Where It Began"
GB Roms
If you are looking for a ginerbread rom, I would recommend either PrimeHD ( sadly, the developers support ended a few months ago) or nAa's MiniCM7. The configuration:
CPU 480-720 MHz
Compcache 18%
Activated Kernel Samepage Merging
Allow purging of Assets
VM Heap 48MB
Installing zepellinrox V6 Supercharger and Kickass Kernelizer probably also helps...

How to get best performance [AC Rom]

Hi, i'm using one of the best roms for Xperia Neo, the AC rom (used to be PAC) the one ported by Kormatoes. But i'm getting a little lag when gaming, just installed vce city and even with low graphics i get lag sometimes. So i want to know what can i do to reduce this lag.
I changed the governor to performance (don't know if it's the best), and OC to 1.4 GHz, closed all apps before gaming. What else can i do?

Vice City is a pretty heavy game and it won't run on our devices smoothly, especially if you're on ICS/JB ROM.. Both are RAM hungry and therefore not enough RAM would be there for you to play!
If you love heavy games I recommend you to switch to GB ROMS..
I know that GB roms are lighter than ICS or JB, but how lighter they are? You think just the rom will make a big difference or there should another thing to do? What about the governor?

ROM definitely makes a big difference..
Try playing games on both GB and ICS and then try to compare between the two!
Sent from my Xperia Neo V using SwiftKey Flow

Well i would like to get the best performance without changing the rom. I think the AC ROM is well tweaked and maybe as lighter as a GB rom. Just want to know the best configuration (CPU governor, I/O) to get less lag. Should i restart the phone before playing too?

[Q] Post what rom you are on and the reason for that?

Am really bored out of flashing the rom and looking for the better performance always. I hope reverting back to the original stock may be the last option for all. But am pretty much satisfied with few roms over here and thanks to the dev of those roms for making us to love x10 even though they are old
Sharing the best part of your roms might be helpful for us in selecting them, eg. battery/performance/gaming/multitasking/stable/rock-solid/..etc

Donut HD 2.2.9
Donut HD 2.2.9 with DoomKernel (medium overclocked 245-1113 ; Governor InteractiveX) is very stable/fast/battery-friendly for me. But am uncomfortable with missing the stock player, stock theme and Facebook inside Xperia.
best roms are techdevil or spikelabs gaming rom.
im tried various roms and found best roms for x10.try to download these roms and see the different.
features are
200mb of ram

Hi,
I'm using FeraLab v20 with ferakernel v2.7 because of long life battery (writing sms, calling, no internet connection/wi-fi) in daily use (around two days).
Last time i had tried Spikelabs Gaming v4 with Achotjan SDE Kernel, but after 7 hours without using my x10i (night) eats almost 50% of battery (tested 2 times). Maybe it's my fault, don't have any idea why.
I've just installed AOSP JB 4.2.2 and first look is very good, around 140MB of free RAM, we will look how long battery will survive.:good:
Greetings
