Hello everyone i wanted to share some photos and initial feelings about the dock. First of all i ordered it yesterday and got it today. $170 with overnight shipping. So my initial feelings are awesome no more holding the tablet at night in bed lol, ill rest it on my chest. Here are some photos. Build quality is sturdy. Hopefully we get some cases soon.

Edit: so upon docking the dock got a firmware update. Also a box came up saying asus keyboard needs to be enabled for consistency, seems dock won't work with third party keyboards like thumb for example.

Got mine yesterday. It reminded me exactly why I bought this tablet. It is pure awesome. Together the two are heavy which I like but may be a negative for some. I couldn't be happier though.

It tells you to switch to asus keyboard, but its not necessary. The og transformer did same popup but I was able to use thumb kb still.

I ordered on Wed night but 2day Air from Newegg means I won't get it til Monday since UPS does not delivery on Saturday unless requested and Newegg didn't have any options for that. Blargh! It's in Laurel MD right now and I wish I could just drive over there from Northern VA, haha.

Lol. Seriously, I wish I could just call to see where I need to fly/drive to in order to get this damn thing now, dock and tablet
Mine is at my house right now! Just waiting to get home so I can open it!
I will report on if with my skinomi skin protector (not screen protector just the skin!) will scratch the front bezel

Is there a reason the Champagne version is not shipping? I haven't heard anything on that.
Okay I like the dock... It's like a cool stand/case/extended battery.. But idk the keyboard just doesn't give enough when typing for my style... Like they keys don't push down enough... Also whenever I type the track pad is so sensitive that it moves the mouse and clicks it while I'm typing... Messing up some words...

Try Best Buy, they are in stock in most stores around here (Montreal). The kb/dock is totally worth it. Good luck!

When I ordered my TF from the store, the sales rep told me they would get me a case with it too. But when everything else came (ie, the keyboard and the tablet), they didn't have a case for me, so instead they gave me this leather sleeve that fits the TF perfectly. I think I'm actually more satisfied with this one seeing all the negative reviews of the stock Asus case. Check it out...

Hope you guys can see those. It's my first time posting images on tapatalk. Anyway, the sleeve barely fits with the keyboard. It kind of stretches the sleeve with the bumps and feet on the TF though, so I don't know if I should be fitting them both in there... what are your thoughts?

I got a free white leather sleeve from Asus. White? It looks good, but in a few weeks it will be very dirty. I live in Taiwan and Asus gave me the sleevebecause of the messy preorder.

Sorry guys. Sent i really have no idea. The sleeve itself has no tag numbee or model number on it. It only says asus on it.
Ill try to go back to the store next time and ask them where i can get more of them from.

I've bought from the same seller but I did not received one. I asked him about it and he sai he got some from Asus because they could not supply in time. He also said there is no way to get them retail

In for a cancellation.
Canceled, only one went through so I went back and found a purple and a smoke for 1¢, see if it goes. Also found some 4g slide cases for a penny.

I found another company on Amazon selling them for a penny too. You have to pay for shipping but hey....its less then what ive been seeing. I've ordered mine and havent received a message about it being oversold.

Last time LowerpriceUSA had a sale on screen protectors for .1 plus free shipping I ordered 5 of them.
They took the 5 cents then sent me a plastic stylus and a letter apologizing for an Amazon technical difficulty.
It was too much of a hassle to send the stylus back.
But anyway just thought I'd throw that out there.
And the stylus doesn't even work. My phone won't register a touch when I try using it.

Dont get it.. its not as useful as i hope. NOthing like the Smart Cover, it has only 2 set ups both in landscape, it doesnt cover the back, and its an hassle to use while charging. Also if you plan on getting the keyboard dock also it would be useless

I actually like it. Not sure what problem with charging while it's attached, mine is easily plugged in. I like it because it's nice and thin, and I'm not terribly worried about the back getting scuffed up. I might be unusual in that regard, tho.

I find it very useful. Use my TP about 7-9 hours a day straight and it works in great form presentations to movies to typing. It'd all how u want to look at it. If you think it's garbage you will see it only like that. I have a backside protector and it won't ever scratch etc. You just can't charge it while it's in the high position.

How easy can you unhook the cover? I'd like to get it to protect the screen from my cats stepping on it while at home, but put the Prime in a leather case when traveling with it.

have also the original sleeve and indeed when set it meanwhile charging it is not stabill and stands on the plug. Also when not charging its falls easy when on a glidy surface its cajooling to keep it standing. So regret bought it

the hinges on my sleeve literally fell a part. the metal hinges also left scuff marks and a square shaped chip on the back of my prime.

I have a back protector but I understand the marks on the back.. I can see it slightly on my protector..
I put thick tape where the hinges would go but I dont like the cheap feel of it and for 40 bucks I already asked for RMA.

Already got the Asus sleeve from amazon and the first think I did before I applied was to put some thick tape on the hinge. After that also putted a very small pice on the back of the tablet and now is working great I don't have the risk of any scratch type.
I think is a good product with its flaws but it's overpriced

So far, its not a great tablet but it isn't bad for less then $250. Even though it's thicker then a NC/NT, I would rather have the View for it's built in GPS and Bluetooth with some range. I already have my solution for 3G figured out. I just put a BoxWave screen protector and am looking for a nice case. I wish they would have Soft touched the whole body.
