But I just want to share my point of view anyways
Mozart is a gr8 headset indeed
But if I have the "option" to run Android on it, it would be real perfect phone
WP7 is a very stupid OS so far, maybe it would be better or even the best in the future, but so far it's nothing like Android or even windows mobile
Even if all of you may think that WP7 is the best and there's no need for Android, but could u tell me what if we have an option like multi-boot OS or the ability to choose the desired OS

And I'll use my Mozart only as a camera only or mostly for making phone calls only
And I'll enjoy everything else like free apps of android, Citrix clients, file manager, Bluetooth send/receive files, a lot more on Android, till that time I can use the same with my mozart.

Why would we mock you ? I think using a phone to make phone calls is a greeeaat idea !
Jokes aside though, I really wonder why an Android rom isn't out yet.
I mean, HTC 7 Mozart components must be used on some Androphones right ? So it's not because of a lack of drivers... Mmmh.
Working with Android on Sensation XE and WP7 on Mozart. Compared to each other WP7 has got a better usability when you just need basic features (except no direct sync with Outlook and some other small issues). It's much faster on 1 GHz CPU than the fastest custom Android ROM I tried at 1,7 GHz overclocked. I like the way how WP7 links everything to each other.
Android is cool for custom settings, I love the simple USB-Connection, but Sense makes no sense for me! Too slow, not really intuitive when working (I mean working, not playing!), but on the other side Android gives me full control.
Unfortunately til now none of the Android apps gives the possibility of the great WP7 gui - nothing is as smooth and fast like on WP7. I really would like to combine both and to be honest: The more I can do the more I don't really use my phone - I am playing, trying and wasting my time . A basic WP7 installation (configuration) is done within 10-20 mins. also - or especially - for unexperienced users, it is a usuable, but no stupid OS. Some less restrictions (USB-drive, direct Outlook-Sync, better Zune,...) and I would leave Android.
its Obviously clear that wp7 does not have any good app.

Mozart does not support android roms.The phone is great with wp7 .If you like android more than wp7 ,then you should byu another phone.
My Mum got con-ed into Buying a Mozart, she was told it runs HTC Sense.
When we discovered it didnt I was disappointed for her but thought Since I had flashed my HTC Incredible S to RXMix3D Rom I would at least be able to do the same for her and Install a Custom Android Based Rom.
Thanks to this thread I now Know thats not Possible, but its a Sure Shame

No offense (because I do love my Mozart) but the camera is the worst feature. The drivers can barely handle the 8MP, the auto focus is really really slow, the settings are really lacking. It doesn't handle itself in the light or the dark, the Xenon flash is far too bright and causes red eye every time.
It's just dreadfull!
As I said, I love my phone and wouldn't trade it for anything, but for me, the camera really is the fail on it.
It is hard to port Android on Mozart. The most difficult problem is RIL ( calls, SMS etc.). Users of HTC Leo (HD 2) are lucky because they got RIL workinng from Desire. Other problems are sound, camera, gps. It is not so hard to boot Android to homescreen but it can not be used in everyday life. The other thing is that MAGLDR from Leo is working on Mozart but not so well as we wish. Android can booted but only command line is working and there is no SD card support.
Ask Cotulla from DFT for more information. I can't post his original reply becaus it is in Russian.
An Android theme and all people complaining will be satisfied.

I would love a dual boot phone, but if I really want an Android phone I would buy a Desire S
get a custom fully unlocked wp7 rom for your mozart
then you can use file manager, send/recieve files via bluetooth, remap keys, add themes and more
and still benefit from the fast and easy wp7 gui

It's clearly not and i am glad about that. If you want the android experience get an android device. I like windows phone *because* it is different.

no problem i don't think anyone would mock you here. i believe every guy chose to join xda-developers is an open-minded person. we respect every one and every point of view.
i personally likes WindowsPhone7 and thinks it will be even better in the coming WP7.8 and WP8. it's nothing like Android or the old Windows Mobile. it opens a new way of using a phone. it's simple, clean and fast. things you NEED to do on a phone are not that much. i think ppl nowadays are more and more treating a phone as a computer. that's not what phones and even smartphones are made for. NOTICE: smartphone - smart, phone. those are the 2 points of it. so smart is in the 1st place.
i remember the slogan of Windows Phone. a phone dedicated to make you free from phones and back to life.

From what I know both OS's are not running, hence having to shut down android and reboot winmo. But Im probably wrong.
Though I too would like to know an answer to your question about a rom!
At the risk of sounding borishly redundant... search is your friend, and of course it's all speculative.

fair enough, but when i read "so we can get rid of winmo completley" it kind of makes me think your not at all happy with the os. android on hd2 is never going to be the same as having a dedicated android phone, so why not just sell up and buy a phone with the os you want the most...?

good piont...i was just under the impression that it will run good on android...

Only 1 or 2 other winmo devices have flashable android roms for them out of over a dozen that have android ports, and it took years of development. And the ports running from nand don't have much of a performance boost, if any. In fact, sometimes the nand versions have less functionality because the ports still use winmo to initialize some hardware until they develop the right drivers to initialize on there own. Thats why some ports for some winmo phones need you to run a 3d app before running haret to get 3d working on android or similar things. The windows kernel is shut down from haret... its not running at the same time as linux. I neer understood why people want to flash over winmo when you could have a phone that runs both. You can have a powerphone that runs 2or 3 os's, or you can have just an android phone that is buggier and less stable than a native android phone. If you want just android and nothing else, why not just get an android phone. I would much rather have a dual booting phone.

VERY VERY informative. wow, great info. i did not know that Haret **** down Winmo Kernal. i thought they were both running at same time...
so what your saying, we can run a day to day android system off our SD card for good if we wanted?? would getting a class higher then muy class 2 sd card help alot?

Yeah, it will run just as well off our sd card as the nand once they get it stable and working well... that's whats great about these ports. That's why I never understood why people are so gung-ho about getting a rom flash with android... that takes away the beauty of having the android port on a winmo device... you get to pick which os you want to use... you can have apps for both. I love android, but I love winmo, also. Android can't play playstation games, which is my main method of entertainment on my phone... but there are many other games for android... AND WE CAN HAVE BOTH!!!
And yes, I think a faster memory card will speed things up during some processes, but I don't know how noticeable a difference it makes. Probably not that big of a difference, but maybe for certain actions or apps it might if lots of data trasferring is happening.

What about the increased battery consumption because Android is running off SD card? I for one love having the option of having a dual boot device, but from everything I have read so far, it is not possible to have both Winmo and an Android port installed on the internal memory of the phone. It's either one or the other, is that correct?

im using the july 22ns zimage with the v5 desire...if i m using the phone, i get maybe 4 hours...sitting there,i get at least 10-15% drop per hour..sitting there..

Battery life should improve some with more development, but even the ports that are flashable to nand suffer from poor battery life... we will probably never get nearly as good battery life from an android port as we will with winmo. The port that flashes on the kaiser eats the battery 2-3 times faster during heavy use and eats the battery 7 or 8 times faster during standby. Charging can be very unstable, also... it'll randomly stop.
Once there is a flashable port for the HD2, assuming there will be one eventually, it will probably have less functional hardware at first (may be missing wifi, 3g, bluetooth, camera, or gps for example) because we won't have winmo to initialize the hardware... it will take more development to make a nand port as functional as the "haret" port.
I'm not saying that a good flashable port won't neccessarily happen, but by going on the history of these ports, I wouldn't expect it too soon. But these developers have already surprised me with how functional they have gotten this port so quickly, so they may prove me wrong. I still wouldn't flash over WinMo, though... I like having a phone that can run 2 or more operating systems. I have my 2 favorite mobile os's on one phone!

Wow, 4 hours on the newer builds is just awful...
You might wanna try a reformat of your SD card and just start all over. If that doesn't work, maybe look into the type of SD card you are using.
I have tried just about all the releases, but currently I am on:
Desire v5
Zimage 23th Cotulla
HSPL 3
radio 2.12.50.2.2
Miri v17.6 rom
Well, Im a bit new to this, but how many android ports have been developed this quickly? How many have been made with the benefit of an open source kernel and hardware that is very similar to device running android?
Seems the me that the HD2 is a bit of a special case...

Whats the OS like? Better than iPhone/Android?
Its pretty good. The quality of the GUI is brilliant. It seems a little buggy with the marketplace. Before adding any exchange or Gmail accounts it was really snappy. Since adding the accounts it seems to have lost this edge (android was just like this too).
I've also got a Desire and they are almost identical in size and layout. I prefer android and its widgets though winpho isn't without its charm. I liken the experience to when I got a HTC Magic... not too many decent apps and only a few firmware updates and apps from being brilliant.
Apple UI and app store still make the platform impressive.... not really enough for me to hang onto my iPhone 4 for more than a couple of weeks.
There are some things to really like. Especially, the HTC hub from what I have seen so far. However, bugs are everywhere. Get errors when trying to install apps, says licences are not valid, or other errors and you just keep hitting retry until they install.
My computer wouldnt recognise it at first when I connected it to usb. It said unknown usb device. The driver install failed, then followed some windows updates for windows phone, a reboot, then it recognised it as a HTC and eventually as a windows phone. C'mon MS get the basics right.
I expect to like the phone eventually, but tomorrow I will still be using my HD2 with either WM6.5 or Android. Android just works and works well...
A disappointing start, but hopefully, it will come together soon!

I'm using the mozart and am quite impressed. Although dont really l like the blocks without a nice background.
Keyboard is uber snappy though! :0)
I've had a few high end Samsungs and support, ie firmware updates etc have always been rubbish, whereas HTC are always pretty great.

Yepp, that´s the reason I won´t buy any Samsung product anymore. Firmware updates are crappy, the build quality of the hardware has become crappy, too.
Oh, and KIES? I think WP7 users will be happy not to be forced to use that impossible piece of software. KIES is an absolute no-go, killed the Galaxy S for me, next to the extremely cheap plastic feeling.
I´ll stick to HTC, either this one (Mozart) or HD7. But I´ll wait for a couple of months to see how the overall development looks like. And I still believe there is a slight chance that there will be a WP7 port for my HD2...

I have had a number of phones over the last 3 years from HTC HD and HD2, but this Mozart is seriously quick. Bootup time is quick, the UI is lightning fast and good for big fingers which anoyed me with 6.5 and Android.
Keyboard is the best ive used so far, and ive only started to learn its capabilities.
I had it connected to my work Exchange and Live accounts in a few mins, and it hasn't slowed one bit yet.
More updates as i get more time to play.

It would be pretty bad ass if some of the XDA devs found a way to replace the black background with wallpapers!
Also, I wish the Mozart worked for T-Mo USA.
Talk about basics.... Try connecting to a WiFi network which has ssid broadcast disabled. I dare you to.... You can't. WTF!
Or try and find the mac address for the phone.
And another thing.... What's the point of being able to select a word in the browser when you can't copy and paste...nor does a co text menu able if you tap and hold the selection.
And for the encore... 373Mb downloaded over 3g in about 12 hours...most of which I was asleep! On my desire after a month of exchange and Gmail, downloading apps over 3g all the time I barely use 300mb. Interesting when every app I tried to install failed???
Bah. I really wanted AMOLED but the sammy is butt ugly in person and its huge...the mozart has a way nicer form factor. Dunno what I want now D=

Hmm, the Zune had the same issue connecting to hidden SSID's and adhoc wifi (main reason I never got one), so this gives me cause for concern really.

I was really looking at getting this device over the Desire.
Now with some research I'm seeing some stuff that really has me leaning back to the Desire.
Batt life seems to be short (anyone remember the first release of the Diamonds)
No copy & paste out of the box... What the f...?
Most of this I'm hoping will be fixed with updates but when will that happen and how soon will the carriers pass them on???
Update: Yes trinest it is.. Its a base function in a business used device and very applish of them to leave it out.

Honestly, there is no reason for the Wifi chip to drain that much battery if you're not connected to a network. It might be polling too much on the background and burning through battery life.
I've had iPhones and an android phone for a few months and both of them had a longer lasting battery even with Wifi on all day and syncing stuff constantly so it is pretty obvious that Microsoft needs to work on power management in WP7.
I'm using an HTC Trophy and battery laster 13 hours yesterday even after spending most of the day in a 2G-only town. It's not horrible, but could be better.
I've had mine since Saturday and absolutely love it. Killer features for me are the Sharepoint, Exchange and Zune integration. In fact the latter is so good I'll be retiring my iPod and ponying up for a Zune pass when the trial runs out.
Downsides so far have been bloody Orange having two phone masts down in London till the 29th Oct which has made 3g patchy as hell and Twitter occasionally crashing the whole device, and the lack of backgrounding updates in apps. The first is clearly just one of those things (I work in tech support....), and I really hope the latter will be sorted in the next OS update.
I've had/have at various points Windows Mobile 5- 6.5.5 devices, Android 1.5- 2.2 ones and an iPod Touch and can honestly say that WP7 is the most pleasurable to use OS of them all. I'll be keeping my HD2 around for gaming and comics, but my daily phone is totally going to be the HTC Mozart.
Battery life I've had no issue with- seems easily on a par with what I expect from a smartphone.

I have an iPhone 4, and it doesn't last through the day if I leave Wi-Fi on accidentally in the morning and move around town during the day a lot. It is never connected but encounters lots of hotspots in the meanwhile. I guess that drains the battery.

Devs are making leaps and bounds recently... the list of bugs is just so high, there's a lot of little things to squash - with the addition of pieces of hardware still not being functional.
So have a little patience, and show a little respect. We'll get there eventually - and as always, patches welcome - if you think you've got the talent to fix things fix them and give us patches! Don't sit on the sidelines and ***** about how stuff doesn't work. Doesn't do anyone a damned bit of good.

It really depends, partially on usage scenarios. xdandroid FRX05/06 on RHOD300 is close to what many WinMo ROMs achieved in terms of general stability. It's actually better than the old version of Energy I was using (which hung on boot 50% of the time, but would be fine after that.) I'm using the xdandroid source tree myself as my daily phone with lots of success.
Power management issues are getting knocked down pretty fast (major focus right now for the devs, primarily being worked by WisTilt2)
RIL issues are on the way to resolution, thanks to independent efforts by highlandsun and WisTilt2. I'm personally hoping to maybe see WisTilt2 hand off his work to highlandsun so WisTilt2 can resume working the kernel PM stuff
Bluetooth is in progress - sounds like we're close, but it's lower priority. Unfortunately the Bluetooth commits and WisTilt2's latest PM work are conflicting, so there isn't a kernel that includes both the improved PM and the improved BT support. I suspect this will change in a week or two.
GPS - It's functional enough for most people, so currently is very low priority. I've done a little work here since I'm not really qualified to work some of the other stuff. Ideally the GPS will get cleaned up so it doesn't wakelock us (we have an easy workaround for that), and time/loc injection can be implemented for faster locking (This requires a significant reverse engineering effort though - Qualcomm changed the interface enough with newer gpsOne solutions that I don't think we can use the code/documentation from the cyanogenMod and AOSP GIT trees.). Lack of XTRA isn't a priority at all for those running from SD, it's a big issue for NAND though.
The progress made in the last several months has been significant. Back near the beginning of the year I was having to delete my data.img and restore from backups every few days. The latest kernels and system releases have solved a ton of issues.
Bluetooth and ril fixes are all that's needed to make me completely forget about Windows mobile on this phone.

I dident intend to sound like a spoiled brat, and I understand a ton of work goes into this project.

Yes, there are still bugs out there.
There are two WinMo phones that I'd say have a 'complete' port - HD2 and Vogue. Now I don't think every single feature has been matched, but they're considered stable and almost every feature has been ported over to Android.
I'm on FRX05 with the 3/11 wistilt2 kernal and this thing is heaven. I don't get any lagging unless I run a crap ton of apps at once or try and download a ton of programs off the market at once (that would slow down any phone). I get through the day with about 40% battery still left. Bluetooth isn't completely working but I don't use that. What more are you looking for in terms of stability? Android can be even less buggy/laggy than some Winmo Cookie 2.0 ROMs in my opinion.

I'm an old TP2 (VZW) user, got a Droid X in October as a replacement.
I saw a video for the HD2 and figured I'd check out my old phone and see how Android development is going. I've kept my TP2 in case I ever did any world travel, so this is definitely something I'm going to start watching.
Just a few questions.
1) How does touching work as opposed to the stylus? I know WinMo was VERY stylus heavy and often finger presses would miss because they weren't exact enough. I was always under the impression that was hardware config. Since Android is working on these WinMo devices, I'll presume the stylus is useless now. Confirm / Deny?
2) What's not working exactly? I've gathered BT and GPS (but not sure exactly what doesn't work with GPS), but I'm sure there is more.
3) Can this be flashed as the default OS, or does it need to be launched as an EXE from the SD card?
4) Can someone guide me to the best install guide? I'm considering popping this on to my TP2 and playing around with it (via WiFi).
5) How well does WiFi hotspot work?
6) Are all builds rooted by default?
7) Recommendations for which ROM to use?

1) All UI elements are large enough that I've never had a need for the stylus in Android. However, since it is a resistive touchscreen, often "fingertip" dragging isn't so hot (single-presses OK, dragging less so) - Fingernails are great for this. I'd say it's about on par with my Huawei S7 in terms of touchability.
2) 3.5mm jack is completely nonfunctional on devices that have it
Headset via ExtUSB is flaky - few people use it so it doesn't get much testing/dev attention
BT is nonfunctional right now, I'd say it's the biggest "missing" item
GPS is usable but has performance issues in terms of initial lock times. Once locked it works great. There are two issues - Ephemeride preloading (XTRA, or in terminology more familiar on the WinMo side, QuickGPS) is not implemented. Fortunately XTRA loading can be done from WinMo prior to booting Android. There's also GPS time/location injection used to "warm start" the GPS - also not implemented.
Camera is a little flaky, but there have been major strides in that in the past month
Power management is still a little flaky, but I think WisTilt2's kernel work is nearly complete
Our RIL has definite known issues, esp. on CDMA phones. WisTilt2 was working it a bit, and highlandsun has made MAJOR improvements in just the past week

The HD2 has a pretty close to 100% port of android... the HD2 is even starting to get it's own CM7 build... not a port, a build made specifically for it. I think it was easier porting android to the HD2, though, because there are many similar android devices that use similar hardware. Also the HD2 seemed to have a lot more devs working on the project.
I love my HD2... it's my main phone and will be for at least another 6 months. Currently running WP7 on NAND and running a CM7 build from my SD card, and even running from SD card, it runs about as well as a native android device. It's going to be hard to move on to a new phone when I'm used to being able to run both WP7 and Android.
Anyways, sorry for the HD2 talk in the Rhodium forum. I'm new in this section... just got myself a T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 to play with and use as spare phone, so I'll be around these parts more from now on.
Is cotulla still working on magldr for the rhodium? Any recent news on that. Having magldr can make the rhodium much more like a native android phone, especially if he has recovery support.
absolutely, magldr 113 is phenominal on my hd2, i'd never go back to windows again, i've been using frx06 with different highlandsun's ril and arrrghhh's kernel for a few days with verrry few problems. i can't wait to get it on nand and have a clockwork mod system
As to the HD2 - As I understand it, there seems to be far fewer variations between Snapdragon configurations as there were for MSM7k configurations.
As a result, it's a lot easier to target one of the rare non-Android Snapdragons when so many Snapdragons ran Android.

1 Winmo is much better for fingers. I can not use fingers for soft keyboard on Android. Seem to me that WM has a lot of filtering, that is missing in Android. Using my nails work pretty well though.
7 I recommend you try them all. All of them have issues. Find one you can live with
Many people has had success with Huawei, its pretty easy to install, so I would start with that. Does not work for me though.
FRX05/06 are easy ready-to-go-bundles as well.

1.) I much prefer androids UI to that of winmo, stylus is needed less but I still use it occasionly . But I didn't use it much in winmo eithar as iv grown good at precise use of the touchscreen But android is still a lot less fiddly
2.)Most of these have already been pointed out but as usual I'm adding in my own personally annoyance Idv3 tags in mp3s are not being read. So you can listen to your music, but album/artist/album art/ and da rest of it won't be seen in most mp3s.
3.) Great progress is being made. . . . .but atm its still reccomended to boot using HARET on sd
6.) Yes afaik the builds are rooted because root is access to /system . . .which seeing as its on the sd card it can be accesed/edited. (Btw can only onfirm for certain that root apps and exploring of root in android in neopeek builds . . . Havnt tried on an xda build as of yet)
7.)well first of all you need to decide wether you want to run a partition(neopeek) build , or a system.ext2 file (xda) build . . . . .you being new id recommend a build here on xda as setup is easier, that does leav you with less choices though but The latest FRX0- build should satify your craving for android . Arrrghhh has made a thread with the build and instructions.

I'd like to address this issue.
I think this is simply an issue with ID3v1 and v2 tags. Have you made sure both tags are populated on your music?
If it's not this issue, then I'm not sure. I've only tried streaming music, haven't tried playing it locally yet...

I had this problem too but you can simply fix it by downloading a keyboard app from the market (like 'Gingerbread Keyboard' or 'SwiftKey').
I am using Gingerbread Keyboard and that is working much more exactly than the standard keyboard for me.

Okay, so my G1 seems to be dying and it's pretty slow anyway, so I want to get a new phone.
Problem is, looking at new phones out now, they're mostly either designed for people new to smartphones (Wildfire S etc.) or they're super fast but super expensive (Sensation etc.)
So I've been looking at buying a used phone from 1-2 years ago, although I have certain requirements:
Needs to have at least a 1GHz CPU
At least 512MB of RAM
3.7"+ screen with a higher resolution than my G1
Capable of running Gingerbread well
Looking at spending maximum of £150-£160
Looking about, I thought about getting a Desire or a Nexus One, but then I noticed the HD2. I like the fact that it has a huge 4.3" screen and is capable of running WP7 as well, and it's around the same price as the other two.
So are there any reasons not to go with one now?

There are no HTC apps but I like the ones in this build. Although I do miss the weather clock I'm sure I can find some sort of replacment.
grab it and start having a blast there is alot of great work here and I'm sure one of the roms will fit your needs.
don't forget to donate when you find something useful they deserve it for the work, after all they give us what HTC won't.

At the moment I'm thinking of moving to a contract at the same time, so I'll probably sell the phone they give me and purchase a used HD2 instead.
The HD2 was one if the best phones I ever had. Was a sad day when it died lol. If it hadn't broke I would still be using it.
i think the hd2 has the biggest community here on xda (take a look at the number of posts and threads they have here) that pretty much means more development for it (as you can already; it can run windows mobile 6.5, windows phone 7, android, ubuntu, and meego). i dont think you will ever get tired of the hd2
Yes, DEFINITELY get an hd2. I have never had so much fun with a phone. I don't think there is any phone on the market at the moment which is more versatile. Depends whet you want - if you want versatility & the ability to flash all sorts of different roms, then hd2 is the way to go.

Hi, I switched to At&t and the Htc Titan yesterday due to messing my Sprint Evo3d up. I noticed that windows can not do nearly as much as my Android did. Maybe its just me but I knew a whole bunch of stuff that the evo 3d did, now i can't even Skype and text at the same time without being logged out (I Skype like 14 hours a day with my fiance when I'm gone) I'm debating on just fixing my evo because this phone seems to limited. Can anyone tell me anything cool about this phone? Or should i go back and get the Atrix? I do like the fact this has a pretty awesome keyboard and pretty big screen. And I'm like in the middle of knowing technology stuff (I know the basics and a bit more but am by far not a master, especially on windows lol.) I want to give this phone a chance but I'm disappointed with the market and having to watch like everything through Zune.

Well first of all, I am going to tell you only a few things here. Other Titan owners can give you the low down on some more things later.
Skype works differently on WP than on Android and iphone. Here is an article why...if you don't understand the article...I will explain it further.

As for the Titan, personally I like it compared to my previous phones running Android and .. the iphone.
The user interface is much more smoother IMO than the latest and greatest Android phone plus I definitely think the iphone has a dull user interface going on there.
Apps are mostly what everyone complains about when they switch over to WP. However, there are many MANY apps that are third - party that will do the same exact thing as a well-known app on Android/Iphone. For example, (Pandora Radio (no official app on WP) however, we have MetroRadio/WPFandora/RadioControlled that will do the same exact thing. Words With Friends (lol, most people complain about this the most) ...we have Words By Post that will work on Android/Iphone/and WP)
OS Updates/Manufacture Updates-As you know, you are on the most horrid cell phone carrier on the planet when it comes to these. However, I do expect us to receive updates fairly shortly to the latest firmware/and operating system soon. I don't really know if we will get WP8 or not. I don't think Microsoft really knows just yet. -And I cannot give you an expected release date, as ATT does not have a release date yet. But if you wanted to you could push the latest OS yourself manually from your computer. (I am low on time, but if you wanted a link, I could post a link on where/how to do this later).

Yes, Zune is a bit limited; but the phone works great. I understand that if you had in-depth knowledge of Android you'd like to keep in it; but this OS works great with a lot less hardware; for example HTC one has four cores, to run ICS in a good way, WP are single core only, and they work very smoothly.
I think you should see the videos from one of the replies.
