I belive i bricked my phone i tried to flash a custom rom onto it and, my phone keys light up, on the bottom yet my screen shuts off after (LG) main boot and CWM-based Recovery v4.0.1.5
I did a little research and everything seems to point to [APP] Flash Image GUI.
I plug my phone into my pc via USB, and it connects and all but yet im unable to get into my phone to use adb push commands?
I need to figure out how to get my computer to recognize my phone.
And then how to use adb to push the Flash Image GUI to see my screen, any ideas to help?
Just search you are not the first one that bricked the phone. If u cant access recovery u have to use kdz but read the guide otherwise u gonna brick your phone for real...

My usb to pc will not connect and I tried using
> mounts and storage > mount USB storage
And it says " E: Unable to open ums lunfile (No such file or directory)
Can you access recovery? If so then your phone is 100% not bricked just wipe everything ( except sd card) and flash your rom again make sure the rom you are flashing is compatible with your phone and the file is not corrupted.

Guys, i tried flashing ROM. But this trying failed. I rebooted the phone after wiping data -.- . And now i stucked in Emergency mode NEED HELP! :C
Have you tried accessing recovery? Try accessing it. If you can, then simply flash a rom. If you can't access recovery, then flash a stock rom while in emergency mode using the KDZ method. Use this tool to get a different stock file than the 2.2.2 given in the guide.

I tried it. I can acsess my phone's recovery but i can't see my sd card on my pc(sorry for bad english)
Did you toggle USB Mass Storage in recovery? If you have Clockworkmod recovery it is under Mounts>Mount USB Storage. If you have AmonRa it is on the main page 'USB MS Toggle'. Toggle this and then connect to the computer when in recovery. See if the sd card is detected now. Then copy a rom zip file and flash it.

Hey folks,
I got a Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 and upgraded my custom rom to Resurrection Remix ics v1.8 today (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436854).
The problem is that I am now stuck at the bootlogo -.- I fear that my phone is bricked now as I cant boot it up anymore to flash a new/old rom. Is there any way to get a new rom flashed via download or recovery mode? The main problem is that I cant put new files on thje phone via USB so imho it is impossible for me to flash something new... Hope there's a way or that someone can help with his problem.
best regards,
daZza
Lol flash via odin...?

your phone isnt bricked, just noobed, its ok
If you still got cwm, which I think you have, format data, system, cache, sdcard
Download the custom ROM again, use mount option in cwm and copy file.
Or after wiping/ format, use Odin and flash the stock ROM

Ye I still got CWM, but when trying to mount USB storage it says: E:Unable to open ums lun file (No such file for directory)...
No I mean, from mount and storage press mount, and plug in the cable. And copy the new file from computer

if u get odin then flash....if cwm then factory reset on there ,an again ur on cwm ok so install the rom now...

6.click the thunderbolt at the left side then mark flashmode
7.select lt26i then ok then do not touch anything just wait to flash until a dialog bo will pop up to connect your device
8.turn off you xps then trigger in flashmode by pressing vol+ then power, release the the two keys until green led light

nope however i flashed a kernel.sin through fastboot and is now on but if i go bk into recovery mode cwm will it say the same . i only wanted install the avid sound mod lol
You can now try to put the .zip file of your sound mod to internal memory which, as I understood is one large built-in memory card and try to install it from CWM, but remember to always make full backup in CWM recovery before flashing, as sometimes even a little mod can make phone stuck in boot loop etc.

so far phone boots into system but if i go into cwm recovery it might not i dunno and yes says that error in cwm recovery etc hope it mounts lol
I think You need other kernel, but be careful and look for kernel that works with your phone model and Rom (which is stock Rom, as I understand) as modified kernels should always have CWM recovery which you need for that sound mod to be flashed from phone.

Hello, I am Stelios. I am a new owner of Motorola Atrix although I have already encounter my first serious problem. I will describe the story from the beginning:
I was trying to recover some old sms using Titanium backup but after the sms restoration the system messaging application was crashing after reboot so I decided to restore a previous Nandroid Backup.
I start the restoration but suddenly the process stopped giving me the message: “Error while restoring /system!”. I tried more than one times but every time the procedure stops at the same time while it restores a specific file of the /system. I also tried two different Nandroid backups that I had previously made from the same ROM but the result was exactly the same:
Code:
CWM-based Recovery v5.02.7-atrix5
Checking MD5 sums…
Erasing boot image…
Restoring system…
Error while restoring /system!
I also tried to format /system before restoration but nothing happens again.
Any ideas that could help me to solve my problem?
Please help I need this device, I don't have a second one.
Maybe it is possible to restore through RSD Lite. I believe you'd lose all of your data on the phone though, I'm not sure. You could always copy it over through CWM and then try RSD Lite.

Hi, what's your recovery ? (from ROM Manager, Tenfar or Romracer ?)
First of all, I hope you know what RSDLite (or sbf_flash if you're Linux/Mac user), fastboot, ... etc.
Try flashing RSD file into your Atrix by RSDLite/sbf_flash. You can access RSD mode by booting with volume down pressed.

Sorry but I am not an advanced user yet and I don't know too much.
I have only one time used the RSDLite (I am a windows user) when I flashed the recovery.
I know that RSDLite is a motorola tool for flashing the original ROMS to the phone and I have also read that it is a too dangerous procedure that may cause hard-bricks.
Can RSDLite recovers .img archives from the Nandroid Backup I have made or do you propose me to flash the sbf archive of my official rom? Is it a dangerous procedure?
I now have a new bigger problem:
The phone can't go in fast boot by pressing the main key and the volume down.
When I plug the charger the Motorola logo or an battery image with a "?" instead of the battery image with the % percentage is appeared
When I disconnect the charger only a black screen appears and I can't boot the device by pressing the booting key.
After trying a lot, I found that the only way to go to fastboot is to put the changer holding simultaneously the volume down. After that, the fastboot loads and I can go to CWM recovery.
But I can't stay a CWM recovery if I disconnect the charger.
I think that I am out of battery and my battery can't be recharged in this state...
HELP!!!
Try formatting /system through CWM and then run restore.
^
And if it still doesn't work, download any ROM, plug your Atrix in your PC and then boot into recovery mode, go to mounts and storage, and finally select mount USB storage to put your ROM on your Atrix. Then flash this ROM to let your charge Atrix.
I think that recovery is corrupted or recovery did a wrong backup, it already happened to me.

I tried to do that but the only way to boot at flashboot is to have my phone connected with the power cable.
If I connect my phone with my pc I can't boot but there in only a black screen.
So there no way to put another rom in the internal sd card.
A solution could be to put another rom in the external sd card but CWM can't see my sd.
I can't flash ROMS from external sd card because it is not visible by CWM.
So what else could I do??
Please guys help, I have totally despaired...
Romracer CWM based recovery (yours) can see files on internal/external memory, is there any message when you try to search a ROM in your external memory ?

Yes, the message is:
E:Can't mount /sdcard
Then go to mounts and storage and select mount /sdcard, it works ?
When you're on recovery, can't you plug in your Atrix on your PC ?

1.There are the options "mount /sdcard" and "mount /sd-ext".
I think that my external card is the /sd-ext and the /sdcard is the internal one.
Selecting mount /sd-ext gives me the result : "Error mounting /sd-ext!
Selecting mount /sdcard gives me the result : "Error mounting /sdcard!
However, CWM can normally see the Nandroid backups at internal storey but it just can't restore the /system.
2.No, if I plug in my atrix on my pc that recovery closes due to energy lack. The battery has run out so the only way to boot to fastboot and then to CWM is to have the phone connected to the charger.
So what could I do?
if a flashable .zip of a custom recovery is in your internal memory storage you can try to flash it.
Otherwise, in recovery mode select reboot to recovery from advanced menu and while the time it takes to boot into your recovery, plug in Atrix on your PC. And if it still doesn't work you can try to charge your Atrix with MacGyver method, i'll explain you.

Thank you for your answer.
1.No, unfortunatelly there is no a .zip with a of a custom rom in my internal memory, That's the reason that I am trying to find a way to put a custom rom in the internal storey or make CWM to read the external sd.
2.I have already tried this. If I disconnect the phone from the charger it directly closes due to lack of energy so I can't plug it to the pc.
3.What is this method??
I bought a new micro SD card that finally was recognized by CWM.
I successfully installed this ROM but the phone still can not boot in the new ROM.
It can only boot in fastboot..
I thought that the boot inability was caused by lack of any ROM.
Now having install a new ROM why I still can't charge my phone????
What could I do to charge my phone????
If all were normal and I had forgotten for days to charge Atrix I would have encountered the same problem?
edit: I also tried a "wipe battery stats from CWM" but nothing changed.

Why should I format the system? I have just installed a new rom.
