Hi, I have installed MiniCM7 2.1.7, nAa v8 kernel a few days ago. But for some reason, when I reboot my x10 mini pro, all my apps are gone! And I havenĀ“t used Titanium backup. I flashed the ROM and gapps 5 times, but my apps keep disappearing every time I reboot. And when I go into the downloaded apps menu, I just find a white and green rectangle, and instead of displaying i.e Facebook, it displays: com.facebook.katana. Somebody please help me as soon as possible! Thanks. (Even the Market disappears, I just can find the Books App)

Hi,
I've just installed this rom on my X10 Mini Pro:
Cyanogen Gingerbread 7 based on MiniCM by slade87 (Gingerbread 2.3.3) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1041099
Before this I was using MiniCM v6.1.
I can browse the Market and download without any problems, but when I try search for an app it doesn't find anything at all, ever. Rather, it suggests that I misspelled it.
I've tried factory reset, wiping cache and dalvik cache several times along with multiple resets, but nothing fixes it.
I've also tried replacing with the old Market, as per this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1231358 , but the new version seems to persist.
edit: Turns out I already had the old version, hence why it looked the same and I suppose didn't help fix it.
If I log into the Market on my PC is still shows the apps that were previously installed on MiniCM v6.1 as still installed.
Syncing google contacts works fine.
The calendar doesn't sync correctly - syncs birthday and holiday calendars but not my own one.
edit: calendar working alright now, fixed itself.
Did another wipe and reinstall, didn't fix it. I noticed it didn't go through the usual startup wizard.
Installed Mini CM7x Pro instead and I can now search for apps at least.
However, I can't download apps because authentication fails for Google Talk.
AAAARRRRRGGGGG!!!
At least the new problem is common. Seems to be a host of suggestions on how to fix it, but so far none have worked.
Same problem...
I have the same problem here, on X10 Mini Pro (U20i), running CyanogenMod7 v15. Before upgrading, I was running v8, with no problems (as far as I can remember). Tried several wipes and resets - nothing worked. Tried upgrading to newest (until now) Market 3.1.3, but the problem persists.
If anybody gets to a solution, PLEASE LET US KNOW!!!
Thanks!
Sweet, got it working. This worked for me:
From the home screen, press menu and click Manage applications.
Click the All tab.
Force stop (if it's open) and clear data for the following:
Google Services Framework
Market
and anything else with market in the name (although on my phone these weren't running and didn't have any data to clear, but yours might)
And finally reboot the phone.
edit: Wasn't logged into my Google account on my PC at the time, if that makes any difference.
Coming from stock rom I have flashed GingerDX v13 Rom on my sisters mini pro, ive followed the procedures wipe cache/ system / data. When i restore the text messages and open the messaging app it hangs, becomes unresponsive, and eventually wants to force close. If i reboot the phone and reopen its will open the first time but the next time will not open, same cycle repeat rinse repeat. Go sms has same issue.
- the restore app i used is sms backup and restore (ive used this on my N1 without any issues).
- total amount of message +- 8100.
- flashed the room from scratch x2.
Anybody else seen this behavior before? the text backup was from stock rom, never had issues there, 2.2 i suppose unrooted.
Would like to exhaust all options and view other users opinions before moving to minicm7.
any input is greatly appreciated.
Hi everyone. This morning I turned on my Mini Pro and it was really, really slow. I rebooted and after that all apps I'd moved to SD were gone. The default Android icon is shown instead of their respective icons on the desktop, and they're not listed on the Launcher app list.
When I go to Settings -> Applications -> All, the missing apps are shown with their package names (ie com.twitter.android instead of Twitter). I've already googled and searched XDA, looking for clues on how to solve the problem. I've done the following, but wasn't able to solve it:
- Unmount/remount SD card
- Reboot phone several times
Any ideas on how can I solve this problem? I'm running MiniCM7 v19.
Thanks in advance!
Defrost all the apps using titanium backup..
Gintonic.SE + zombie-pack kernel by slade ..
Hi, I just updated my X10 from Oodie's MIUI pRIME rom ver. 6 to ver. 7. I downloaded the rom, flashed it with Oodie's cwm-based recovery, and rebooted. On entering the home screen, I noticed that the settings app was gone. I then rebooted into recovery and re-flashed the update. This time, I made a backup. When I rebooted, al,ost all my apps were gone! Only a random few like Pulse reader, file expert and foursquare were left. Everything except for the stock apps were remaining. I went to settings (which had reappeared) and checked th installed apps. All my previous apps were listed, however the icons were replaced by a black-n-white icon of the default no-icon pic, with a small word saying "sd" on the bottom right. They were also named "com.xxxxx.xxxxxx". It said that the apps could be moved to the ad card, and their data could be cleared. It also said that all those apps were in compatibility mode. Help!
Maybe the spare parts app i inserted in V7 turned everything to compatibility mode . Try going to spare parts & turn off compatibility mode .
I didn't have the issue because i haven't upgraded . A fresh install with a full wipe will resolve all issues
Didn't solve the problem. Everything stayed the same. Will try downloadin some apps, see if that helps.(
I have a kind of big problem with my Archos TITANIUM 97B (YES "B" not "HD")
So here is my problem, I messed around with RomToolBox pro (from Jrummy apps) and so now EVERYTIME I open an app/just touch a button (by example the switch off/reboot button) the app crash, a message saying "Unfortunately (app) has stopped" and when I press "OK" My table just reboots for no reason.
I tried doing a factory reset (hard and soft), It didn't help at all.
But here is the real problem:
1. There are no frimware/stock rom available anywhere (even not on the website).
2.Custom recovery's aren't compatible with my device.
3. I can't even find a flashing tool for my device.
Can someone, please do a full backup of a Archos Titanium 97B (when I mean full, it's like stock rom,not just the boot.img).
