I do not talk on the phone much (or at least try not too), but I will only purchase a moto 'flip' type personally from now on. I really love the ability to quickly turn it on/off by flipping the mic piece. I have used a few different Moto flip sets, and currently also have a Plantronics Voyager Pro+ (recieved from work). They all sound decent (at least), and the wind/noise cancellation is excellent w/the Voyager (and gets better with the Motos (which is good),as the sets get newer).
Since I do not wear the set in my ear all the time, the tedious on/off process with any other set, really is a problem for me. Holding a button for 1-2 sec gets to be an issue, and then you forget and it stays on (with you forgetting). Then you think your phone is not working because the ear piece is be used where it is sitting in your car. Well, at least that happened to me once, a while ago, with my blackberry.
Another cool thing (maybe) is the NFC pairing - nothing earth shattering, but it may be the only way to use the NFC today .
I have not used that particular Moto model, but since it is one of their top of the line models, it will sound/perform well. I have experiance with their H700/710/H720, H17, H15. Also some garbage ones, and a Cardo Scala 500.
I may have liked the sound better from other units in the past, but the on/off was always the most important think for me.

Bose bt2. Hands down the best I've used. And I've been using the jawbones since the first one. The plantronics voyager 975 (forget the number, comes with charging case. Doesn't do a2dp) is good with calls too though. Other than that my opinion and I've used and tried many bts. Is you get what u pay for. 150$ is a small price to me considering all my voice calls are through my headset.
(1200min or so a month in voice calls)
Ps
Bose sound quality is excellent (to and fro), good distance, a2dp, relatively good comfort.
Jb era is second because the noise assassin can get intrusive at times and muffle your voice.

IME Motorola has the best offerings in each tier of price ranges.
bluant q2 awesome!!
So I went with the Motorola Elite Flip. I am disappointed. If I pay that much for a bluetooth headset, I don't want it to limit me no matter how inappropriate my language may be. Couldn't figure out a way to turn the censor/filter off so I'm just gonna return it.

I have a set of beats (the tours). I was told by a guy at radio shack that they would work no problem with my new phone. I kinda figured they wouldn't, so I said I would return them if they didn't. Well I happen to like the sound and I don't want to return them, but half of the remote features don't work right. Play/pause works, but skip tracks dials last called number . Is there anyway to remap this in system? I'm rooted running charmeleon Rom.

Replace them for some sure SE215's and buy the CBL-M-K cable for it, problem solved.
Or go to Fry's they're selling the Klipsch s4A for 49.99 (50% off) right now, it's the android headset, only has one button, and mic, but they work.
Or use this

Beats are horrible headphones. Any audiophile I know wouldn't be caught dead with those on. Hype + marketing = Bose/Beats/Monster/Apple.
High priced crap.

Eh, I honestly hate Bose almost as much as Apple. I'm a huge speaker guy, and they make some of the worst speakers in the world in terms of what you get for the price.
There's a somewhat famous write-up where this audiophile ripped a $1000 Bose set to pieces and reviewed the build quality, and did lots of sound tests that test for decimal levels at various frequencies throughout the spectrum. The results were both amusing and horrifying. They're a brand who uses marketing and advertising to sell products.
Similar to Apple, they make DECENT products, but they're highly over-hyped, and you can get far better for the money you spend. I'll link that article if I can find it. It is eye-opening.
Edit: Here it is - I'd recommend you sit down and take the time to read thoroughly when you can. Quite an interesting read! And this is full of sonic FACTS, not idiots opinions (although there's certainly some opinion in it).

OMG I just bought these a couple days ago. Amazing headphones! Plus you can't beat the lifetime warranty that protects the device from sweat. I'm about to write a review for these.

I didn't read the first post...sorry.I think the motorola sport series are good. I've tried them before and the sound quality is good, but they don't fit on my head.
Jaybird freedoms....i jog and they dont even feel like they are on. Plus they are loud and clear. I have a evo lte i use for an mp3 player and surprisingly the beats audio in the evo makes a noticable difference then when using them in my s3. I dont know why since there wireless but definitely notice a difference and i have a pair of beats earbuds i can say the jaybirds sound just as good

It's as if no one bothers reading the OP's post. He doesn't want the jaybirds.
To OP, I've heard great things about the Motorola, but honestly I would recommend going wired. No need to worry about BT. Try a tunebelt armband that has a Velcro strap for the dangling wire of the earphones. If you must have wireless, try the moto.

I actually DON'T recommend the Motos over the JayBirds... I have both brands, including both S9 and S10s, and still believe the JayBirds are better in sound quality and comfort. There really is nothing better right now, I don't think...
That's why people keep ignoring the damn first post and saying go with JayBirds, lol.
i see that jaybird came out with the new JF4 headphones which is 40% smaller then the freedoms but it has less battery time. They also didnt fix the reception issues.. oh well, ill wait and see for now guys.
I have the Moto S10-HD they are great. They seem to sit a little low on my head but otherwise very comfortable and have stood up to running in extremely humid weather. Even withstood a small rainstorm that popped up during a run.

Just normal, HTC headphones. I was disappointed when I watched the unboxing video...
Blaah. Was afraid of that. Everywhere I read of x:s specs they are quick to mention beats audio, but not a single word on the sucky stock phones.
I hate deceptive marketing!
I actually tried the phones yesterday, since my mw600 was discharged. The sound in the stock phones was really good for that type of headphone. If it weren't for a handful of other reasons I'd consider using them.
Has no one else got a pair of Beats by Dre Solo with the device? As well as the HTC ones in the box..?
Nope. Considering that the "beats by dr dré solo" headphones cost about 160 euro over here ( more than half of what I paid for the DX) I'm not really surprised.. Must've been an awesome deal you've had.

Oh mine came with the contract I got the phone on. Weird since the whole 'Beats by Dre' is like a selling point.
"Beats by Dr Dré" is available on my phone, but seems to be restricted to an audio filter that sounds like a generic loudness filter to my semi-developed ears . May work like magic if you like the music by Dr Dré, but I may be too old for that

I've been using the Klipsch S4a with Headset Button Controller, which finally fixed that ridiculous HTC bug where the button would call the last contact. They sound great and I got an open box pair for $50 bucks off eBay. Would be nice to have separate volume control on them but I haven't seen any headphones able to do that on Android yet.

+1. These have good sound quality, despite being earbuds (or pods as they call them), and not ear plugs. Perfect for people with narrow ear canals, as most plugs won't fit.
