Did a scan with anti virus and it picked up super user as male ware.. I know I need it for root, is this normal

Yes, it is normal (just check the option to not notify you about it again).
Only reason I ask is it never came up before..

Nope,that's the, I could't think of a nice thing to say,so I said nothing at all post. Don't fret, I managed to find out that the site was hacked, and apparently the kernel files were untouched.

So I tried he rooting method that was posted here but every time I get to the point where it says 'restore my data' I press the restore my data button and nothing happens. I was kind of worried about rooting due to the issue with ota updates but I am really eager to try out the camera mod that was posted a while back. Any help?

If your on this software version prior to rooting you may not be able to root it.

I received a wallet update two minutes ago, I wasn't going to accept it but I did so anyways. Lo and behold it opened up and ran fully functional.

Surprisingly Google wallet tap and pay works on this new update. They even went out of the way to give you the option to set as default tap and pay!

I don't have the secure element SIM that I know of (still using the same one i got when i purchased the phone a year ago) and mine works.
