I use just the normal Voice Search from Google. I have used Iris before too though, and it's okay so far I believe it is still Alpha though.

Yeah, the google voice search is good and accurate. I haven't had the need for 3rd party apps.
i use skyvi, it's the best one so far i think and gets updated plenty
I've heard of an app called Cluzee. Originally saw it on a post on Engadget. Haven't had any personal experience with it but the post hyped it up as the "Siri" of Android.

That was absolutely not my intention. I was wondering if you had found a different app I hadn't seen
Sent from my ADR6425LVW
I've worked with it and it has a success rate of around 90 its insane. I tried WiFi at the Verizon store and it was slow and incapaple with a success rate of around 70. IPhone users still try to sell me on siri lol.
They even think that apple made siri when it was actually made by the same people who made voice software for computers I believe that it is called dragon or something. Isheep are generally ignorant because the ones who are isheep have obviously never used android because if they did the wouldn't be isheep.

I know that was not your intentions and I was saying that in a way where I was laughing at myself. It was because I often times don't read manuals and then overlook extremely simple solutions.

It's been available for a little while, but now it's almost fully working, just a few bugs here and there from using it, But it works pretty consistently with voice and everything. Love it.
Flashed it last night and has been working great. ^_^
Only issue I've seen was the ones they listed where I can't use the back button but doesn't affect functionality at all

Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
Didn't think I'd like it as much as I do but particularly the improved voice search function is pretty sweet. It's nice to be able to give the phone more natural commands and have it pick up on it. It also doesn't seem as impaired by rushed pronunciation as 4.0 and below.

No matter what I say, when I tap the mic or hold down search and it auto mics, if i say anything it always does web search. Never commands for anything. Cant create new calendar entry, cant text, etc.
I just installed The Disarmed Toaster 0.1.4. which is supposed to have Google Now.
And when I search for google now on youtube, it allways finds some fancy tricks, like:
"Remind me to walk my dog in 2 hrs", and it sets the alarm for you.
What it does in my phone, is it only searches google for the phrase. Am I doing something rong, or just don't have the right software?
I've been searching forum this answer too and on another thread it was mentioned the assistant side that performs tasks isn't ready yet and nothing released. It was met that might be an updates to the voice search app this fall. I guess time will tell.

Haven't tried version 7 yet. Didn't know it was out! Where do we find it?
I mentioned that the assistant was working in regards to the question posed about setting alarms and such. As far as I know the hardware switching on and off functions are still not implemented in even the jb version.

I think it might be the app, I did try that one and was having issues with it. Thats why i moved over to the other app, it just works alot better. The one down side is it cost 10 bucks but imo well worth it
Yah I looked on there website in the faq and it said if u are using cm there is a bug that is cms and it
Makes the app c:geo to not work right with Howard the caches from u so that makes it not very good for us
Sent from my ADR6300 using xda app-developers app
IMO, c:geo is the superior app except for the compass...it has never worked well for me on any ROM or phone. The official Geocaching app compass just works. It's just sad how much better the iOS version of the Geocaching app is. The iOS version from 2 years ago was better than the current Android version.
Doesn't really matter to me anymore though...I use a DeLorme handheld for geocaching now.
Thanks everyone I got a droid razr
