Hi,
I have installed CM7.1 and i want to set a pic as a wallpaper, which i can do....but ..what i cant do is set the whole pic as a wallpaper. I can only highlight certain part of the pic which i dont want.
You could set the whole picture as a wallpaper on the original rom.
Is there someone out there that can help me please.
Thank in Advance.

Thanks alot..it has helped in setting the whole picture on the main screen.
The only downfall to it, is that it doesnt stretch across the to the other windows when you scroll accross. Also when you put the phone to landscape it doesnt appear up on the whole screen.
Thanks

Did you buy the 2.0 version from Market?
If so, there should be multiple widgets larger than 4x3 that exist by default.
If not, well, you should think about it. It's probably programmed that way on purpose.
I own HD Widgets and mine go full tab size.

How To :
1- Download and Install UCCW
2-Add a new widget [UCCW 1x1]
3-Wait until you can touch it
4-Touch it then go to "create a new skin"
5-Press on Alpha then make it 0
6-Now choose "Select Option"on the top of the screen and select Hotspots
7-Select Height and make it 550 and Width to 400
8-Now choose HotSpots and go to Apps .. Choose your desired app

yeah i know, but since alot of people use custom launchers that (most of them) support icon changes on homescreen, it's an easier, faster way. just fyi for all people here using i.e. nova that they dont have to go through all of this.

For those getting only white background in their widget, upgrade your UCCW to 2.1 or 2.5

dude remove the external link and give link to the original thread or source
this is not allowed on
its really annoying
imagine u make an app or theme or watever and painstakingly type and make a thread with all instructions and tips etc and some guy just gives an external link in a different thread with no such info...
the effects of this are
*users will never know what the dev had to say
*they will never know whose created this so the dev will not even get proper credits for hard work
*dev may have mentioned some inportant tips and trouble shoots and the users will never know it
*so when the app has unresolved bugs its a bad name for the work as well as the dev
so pleez edit it out and replace the link with original source link before i report
this has happened to me a couple of times so know exactly how annoying this feels
thank u

@OP. I removed your link from the OP because 4shared requires registration to download and that isnagaist XDA rules. You can rehost somewhere else, but you must also show where you got this mod from. Saying "from a Turkish forum" is not good enough.
Seems this thread gets Necro'd about every 30 days or so.

Greetings!
Tired of the same layout of your home screens? want to try something new?
Well, I present to you my modified home screen - VECTOR UI
All that you need in one homescreen! PLUS a unique combination of widgets and arts!
AVAILABLE IN WHITE AND BLACK VERSIONS
Well, I initially made it for my Xperia Acros S but the ofcourse, I made one for you all to share it!
Tell me if you want to try it and I'll post a tutorial how to do it im just sharing..
The pebble inside the circle serves as the icon, once tapped, it'll open the app as named and
ofcourse, once social networking site's name was tapped, it will open as well
TUTORIAL
TUTORIAL:
You need to be very patient in doing this one.. but it worth it!
=====
• REQUIRED APPS:
Nova Launcher/Prime – recommended for swipe down to see status bar
Desktop Visualizer
Zooper Widgets
Eye in the Sky widgets
UCCW
Multipicture Live Wallpaper
and a bit patience
If you prefer BLACK : Download the base image from:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gbrdcjow96x8vz5/amTEerYVBI#f:BlackFinal copy1.jpg
if your prefer WHITE ownload the base image from:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gbrdcjow96x8vz5/amTEerYVBI#f:WhiteFinal copy.jpg
UCCW Battery:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gbrdcjow96x8vz5/tywsIacwNv/bat.uzip
Put it in your SD Card.
=====
APPLICATION SET-UP/SETTINGS:
NOVA LAUNCHER:
• 12×12 desktop grid
• Hide status bar
• Hide dock/disable
• Gesture down for status bar (optional prime)
• App label = disable/do not show
————-
Multipicture Live Wallpaper (MPLW)
Menu bar/tap and hold desktop – wall paper – live wall paper.
• Make sure the common settings – Crop/Resize Ratio is FIT TO FULL SCREEN
• Screen 1 settings – picture source – select the file (white or black depends to ur phone)
APPLY WALL PAPER.
———-
EYE IN THE SKY WIDGETS
• Select the forecast and customize your desire color.
I prefer teal since it matches the font color for text/calls/mail
• It will display the icons of clouds etc… so i made it thinner to hide the clouds
—————-
UCCW – battery/sms/call/mail count
• Download from https://www.dropbox.com/s/hsxcsiycw5mwhj1/bat.uzip
• Copy to /sdcard/UltimateCustomClockWidget folder
• I assume you know how to use it and import as file the uzip file… resize to match/aline with text/calls/Mail
(ask me if you do not know how to use UCCW.. search first)
————————-
DESKTOP VISUALIZER
• Basically, the marbles inside will serve as the app icon.. so we need blank PNG.
download at https://www.dropbox.com/s/gzmnntu3ewb5x75/Copy of blank.png
• Always select 1×1 DeskVis widget and just resize it to fit the icons.
just set up the widgets(do not configure yet to avoid confusion) see image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8exa8nzsqewttre/tutDV.png
• after polotting, then configure each one, icons will be the BLANK PNG and select the app to launch
• select NONE for the touch effect
• Clear label text/name
• Vibration, select on or system/haptic
do that for all of the DV set ups and lastly..
tap and hold on anywhere (not with the widgets) Nova actions, select APP Drawer.
just fit it near the APP marble and for the icon, select blank as well.
Go to nova settings again and lock desktop to avoid moving invisible DV widgets.
I almost forgot, for zooper widget.. just select the default from the list and modify the location/colors if you want too… recommended to select 5×1 above size.
DONE…
thanks and enjoy.. comment for any help.
DONT FORGET TO HIT IT THANKS! or buy me a BEER lol

hope that helps.

yeah.. TIP: you can add another set of screen on MPLW and select the other color variant... so you'll have both black and whiite by swiping left ryt
It looks awesome, but I've already wasted so much of my time on making UI tweaks only to lose them when I switch ROMs.
Is there anyway to backup the homescreen settings, so when you flash a new ROM homescreen settings can be restored?
I tried many diff backups and nothing has worked. All I get is blank boxes where the icons were.
Thanks!
@emompong You could use Buzz Launcher to share your homescreen though?
wow looks really awesome!! gonna try ASAP!!
