How do you add more calendars to the HTC Calendar app? I see on the upper left hand corner where you can select different calendars to display but it is only showing 3 our of 6 Google calendars. All of which worked fine on gingerbread.
I'm pretty sure it automatically adds them based on your google account. Do you have more than one google account? I have 5 calendars and they all appear fine.
Just one Google account with 6 calendars. 4 of which i would like to have on device, but only 3 are showing, and only 2 of the 3 are ones i would like to have on there.
When you hit calendar on the upper left, all of your calendars automatically showed up there then?
I know on my evo, I would have to go into a menu and enable them for syncing, but I do not see anything similar to that on HC.

This is an HC bug. I have 3 calendars, only 1 of which shows up on the initial sync.
I had to repeatedly delete calendar data and syncing in various manners until it worked.
Try clearing "calendar storage" data, turning on auto-sync, and check and uncheck calendar sync several times (letting it finish the spin wheel each time)

Hmm, no change...
you need to make sure the calendars are active in Calendar Settings (on the web, selected with "show in list") before you can access them on your phone...i think
Had same problem. Seems like an HC issue cuz it was fine on GB. No idea why thou. Just use a different calender app besides stock/sense, especiallyif you are using a diff launcher.

Google cal not showing all events. If I go into calendar from desktop and make a change to event it will them show up on thunderbolt. My fascinate is showing everything fine. Any suggestions?

Does the ThunderBolt by chance require you to manage delegations? Like is it secondary calendars that aren't showing up? I know on my HTC Incredible that all of my other calendars on Google cal are automatically selected, but possibly they disabled that for the ThunderBolt? Should be able to go into the calendar on the phone and hit menu to get to calendar settings and see if that's the trouble?

Thanks for the info but I have made sure that all calendars were checked. I guess I am the only one seeing this problem so it must be on my end somewhere.
My calendar has all my facebook friend's birthdays. I cannot get ride of them. I've already tried not-syncing facebook at all (regular and fb for sense). I also cannot find any option in the calendar app to not display certain calendars. Any ideas?

If you open the actual calendar app (touch the arrow in the upper right corner of the widget), the header has a pull down arrow after is says "All calendars". If you touch this, it will pull down a list of calendars syncing. You can enable/disable selectively from here.
I had a problem with this initially, as well, since this used to be accessed from the menu/settings.

I finally flashed a few ROMs today and liking how it is going (exchange works!). I like the way the calendar displays on Synergy (shows the daily appointments without me having to press anything) - whereas the latest Th3oryrom shows me a 30 day calendar and i have to press the day to show the appointments (agenda view).
Is there a way to show the agenda view first? I'd like to keep trying a few more ROMs, but i really like the way Synergy shows it.

Do a long press on screen, add widget, add calendar, use calendar 2/3 it will show you daily appointments. I am using Cl3anTh3ory

I have two calendars - one "HTC" and one "Android" .... i dont see anything else (using cl3an now)... am I missing something?

I do this, but it doesn't show anything different (using the HTC calendar). It was already set this way - one click on the calendar heading and it goes to agenda view. I just want agenda view to be on the main screen - not the 30 day view.
Calendar, menu, more, calendars make sure exchange is checked if you want an exchange calendar to sync.
Also check the colanders syncing in your accounts.
I use HTC and it syncs with my Google. Use calendar 2/3 for your whole day by day agenda. Make sure to select it as widget.

I follow these instructions to the letter, but I can't get it to show the agenda view as the main widget screen. I appreciate the effort, but maybe my phone is messed or it can't be done the way i want it. I can provide screen caps if needed I suppose, but i'd have to reflash synergy just to get it. Thanks again!

Maybe i went about this the wrong way.... is there a "calendar 2/3" widget that is supposed be showing up in my widget options (not that i see one there)?
Having a problem with my calendar. If I create an event, it will show up on my phone just fine but if I check my calendar on the computer the events aren't showing up. Now the calendar was working just fine while I was still stock rooted. The problem didn't start until I flashed a custom rom last week. Now it doesn't matter which rom I flash the problem is still there. I'm getting real pissed.
Has anyone else experienced this and/or know of a solution?
The HTC calendar can sync with our computers? Damn, I'm finding more and more stuff to do with this phone.

Well, I used to. Somethings not right now though. me and my wife share a calendar so we both can see the schedule. Mine was working fine when I was stock & stock rooted but ever since I flashed the first custom rom last week it stopped working. None of the events I create will show up on my wife's phone or in google calendar on the computer. It's weird though because I can see the events she creates just fine. I've tried 3 different roms now and all the same results.
I know you have probably already tried this but make sure "calendar" is set up to sync in the respective google account. Do this from settings/accounts/then the account. If that is checked go to the calander app (htc sense one in the app drawer) then at the top you will see a little drop down carrot. tap the top bar and make sure your calander is listed there. if it isn't then you can try to clear data on "calendar" "calendar storage" and "google calendar sync" Hopefully one of the above works for you. I have had a similar problem when I used Titanium backup to restore system data. Good luck hope this helps.

I tried all of those and nothing. Also, I never use TB to restore system data just to avoid any issues. The weirdest thing is that I can see the events that my wife creates but my events won't write to the google account. I've never had this problem while I was stock or stock rooted or on my og evo. Now I've tried 3 different roms and all the same.
You've got to be kidding me, lol. I've never had this happen before. I figured out the calendar issue. I was messing around with it some more today and what happened was, it was stuck on pc sync. When you open up the calendar up it tells you at the top which calendar will be synced. I have never noticed that before. I've never had to change it. All I had to do was add the gmail account that I wanted to use and set it to sync just the calendar and I was good to go. I feel like an idiot, lmfao.

Z2 syncs the main Gmail one, the other subgroups are NOT synced.

I know it may be stating the obvious but im assuming you have the other calendars all ticked. i.e open calendar app, tap top left to display year, month, week etc and at the bottom you'll see the calendars its showing (you can also pick their colour to differentiate)

Of course. The problem is THEY ARE NOT THERE.
The only one visible is default gmail.com one.
The other two are NOT there, although they are on Gmail and on my Xperia Z as well.
Maybe you can say which calendar(s) make you problem?

I'm sure its a kitkat related problem as your Xperia Z would be running JB not 4.4.2.
Have you tried clearing the calendar caches. i.e. from managing apps, finding calendar and clearning the data cache and then attempting a re sync?
If that doesnt work, it may be the stock calendar. Then try google calendar from the play store to try to pinpoint what is causing it. i.e. calendar on the phone, kitkat etc
I had the same problem. 1 of my calendar was not appearing. I solved it by removing my account from the accounts settings and adding it back. Then all my calendar appeared in stock calendar app.

My gmail calendar has 3 groups/subgroups whatever you call it.
Only one syncs. The other ones do not.
How to remove the account?
Google account?
Settings-tap on Google (in section Accounts),tap on email adress, in sync page tap on 3 dots, choose delete account.
NO SUCCESS.
After removing and resyncing the Google account I still see only default calendar.

Ok so I installed the GoogleCalendar.
After that the other calendars started to be visible in the Google one
But than also appeared on Sony one (!!!).
I uninstalled the Google one and the calendars stayed in the Sony one.

z2 google calendars not displaying
Just wanted to say I removed and re-added the google account and then finally showed all the calendars that I linked to my account.
One thing I've noticed that I'm sure wasn't an issue before is that it only syncs about 1yr back not All events. Via google calendar from a PC events years ago are there but not on my phone. Just can't find any options to sync everything
