I want to know which firmware i have to download it from samfirmware , but At the about menu my info are
(Build number : HMJ37 P7500JPKG6 )
(BASEBAND version : P7500 XXKG7 )
Ad the one on samfirmware is
(P7500JPKG6 ) so is this the same I ave as it doesn't have the (HMJ37 ) in the begining ?

Build Number
Your build number is the firmware number. On your tablet it will usually be abbreviated, so yes that build number is the firmware number and that is what you should look for. May I add, you may want to see if there is an update you can download off XDA. I may be wrong, but I think that is an older firmware version.

Although new versions of firmware for SGS2 exists, I still have that old one. Why kies doesn't show new versions. Is it related to the region ?

Yep. Depending on where you live. KE2 is the newest in Norway aswell.
Product code determines firmware .
If the product supplier has updated firmware its on Kies .

If the phone is locked to a provider, you'll get different updates. Not every country has the same releasedates.

A few days ago I've bought the Galaxy S2 from Amazon and I have 2 questions:
1. If I enter the following code - *#2222# into the phone it'll tell me the rev version of the phone and it says my is REV1.2, whats the differences between the Rev's?
2. Is the latest official Baseband Version is I9100UHKG4 and latest Build number is GINGERBREAD.UHKG7 ?

Connect to Kies should tell you your firmware is up to date .
Thoughts and they are no more than thoughts .
One your hardware rev is very very early two KG7 on a brand new phone .

I didn't get the phone on KG7, got it on lower version, connected to Kies and it updated it to KG7, but why my Baseband is KG4 and Kies says I'm up-to-date?
Also I didn't understand is REV1.2 newer than REV1.4 or older?

The thing is i bought my SGS2 in India a couple of months back and now i am living in South Africa.Now Samsung has released the information today that 2.3.4 is available for downloading via Kies but my device is not showing any update ...

i want to upgrade it to the new version like cm10/cm9/cm7..but the problem is
1) Is my phone is root yet?
2) I already search but there is no firmware same as my phone can bw found...can i use another firmware?

I would like to know if i can use odin to install a firmware of a different buid number on my phone but from the same country
Have a look on sammobile for your device and look at the country and see if there is a different build number (newer, don't downgrade. Look at the release dates)
