MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING!
Thanks to capez for porting ICS animations and thanks to Taine0 for his center clock guide.

Great news! Animations are really cool, thanks!
And therefore, in fj CM7.2.0 they even increase the free RAM (from 46 to more than 60)!!! How is that possible?! Thankssssssssss

Really don't know how you're getting so much free RAM (I personally don't think it is possible to get more free RAM merely by changing animations, but I could be wrong).
Have you applied any memory tweaks?
New ICS animations as seen on Galaxy Nexus are clean, minimal and transitions are smooth and thus gives feel of applications are opening and closing at faster rate than usual.

Not working
Can you please check the installer? I'm running CM7.2 RC0 and got stuck at cyanogenmod bootanimation.
First I wiped cache, then reinstall CM, then wiped data and cache, and is not running even having the clean copy.

It's weird because I have tested it with same build and it does work. What is giving you a trouble/bootloops StatusBarMods or ICS animations?
I hope you're following these steps to get it working:
1. Install CM7, OR>updates>CM7 RC0 (or whatever version you have)
2.Reboot
3.OR>updates>[CM7]CenterClock-TransStatBar.zip>Reboot (Do not wipe cache or data just reboot, successful? now go for 2nd mod)
4.OR>updates>[CM7]ICS-Animations.zip>Reboot (Sill no errors! Congratulations! )
If you're still having problems booting then can you share your unmodified framework-res.apk and Systemui.apk so that I can make a fresh flashable for you.

i flashed the transitions and just rebooted without wiping anything (according to your new instructions), and got stuck in a bootloop. and then i tried wiping the cache and dalvik cache and rebooted, same thing.
btw, i just tried this out, and its very cool. its an ics theme for cm7 theme chooser. just download it from the market, and it will appear inside the theme chooser app. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sonny.theme.ics

One notice: with the centered clock, the text of notifications in the status bar overlaps with the time, so I decided not to use it.
But still, thanks for ICS animations!
UPDATE: ICS animations not working anymore using fjfalcon's [ROM][KANG][2012.01.12] CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC0 Milestone XT720. They only work with the previous release (2012.01.08).

i would have done it myself if i knew how, as there were already some instructions on how to port these transition animations... but i dont know how to sign an apk and how to compile it into a flashable zip.

Yes it is common glitch with center clock mod try disabling the clock from CM setting in case of notification overflow and when your status bar will have less notifications re-enable it.
Secondly, thanks for letting me know as I'm using previous build because I didn't encounter any bug yet!
I'll update those animations with latest build from fj.

Do not worry I'm downloading new build and will upload new mod tomorrow.

Hi Jackfrost,
any news about the porting of the animations to the latest releases by fj? You made me fall in love with them, can't wait to have them back! (I'm not hustling you take your time of course).
Otherwise I could try to do it myself, but I really don't know how to...can you post a quick guide for newbs like me?

Hey, I'm really sorry for not keeping track of development going on here because my vacations are over and I'm busy with University Project work.
I've added new Mods which should work with CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC0 2012.01.24 by fj. But to be on a safer side make a backup and follow those usual instructions for applying these mods.
Once again sorry for late reply.

It works, in the sense that I had no problems in applying the update and reboot successfully. I was just realizing that I don't see any difference with respect to the previous animations (the ones already included in the latest FJ CM7.2.0).
mmm...I don't get it...
still, thanks for the immediate answer!

Hi
Is it possible to support update-cm-7.1.0-milestonext720-beta-23012012.
This already includes ics rotation.

What animations are you getting? The zoom in and zoom out one? Or something similar to ICS like in the video?

Yes it could be possible but I'm not that expert on the topic to figure out how to get it working I'll wait for capez to port screen rotation animation along with other ICS transitions. As I never use auto-rotation sensor on my device, screen rotation animation is pretty useless for me.

Zoom in and out were already there before applying the update (already included in FJ CM7.2.0), whereas a good surprise was the rotation animation, but I'm not sure if that was not already in CM 7.2.0 because I didn't try, after flashing it I also flashed he animations..so it is possible that everything was already there

CyanogenMod backported the ICS transitions recently into CM7. So I think they're already there on builds since last sunday.

And there you go as MZ said CM has ported ICS animations no need to flash this ICS mod. Use the center clock and status bar transparency if you want.

Yes it is possible that fj's latest build is already using ICS animations. Do not flash this animation Mod, use it if you're on previous build.

Hi Mioze7ae, do you think it will be possible to see these animations also in your CM6? Maybe with the T-mobile engine?
Probably I don't even realize how much work that would require...

When you move to landscape mode from portrait, the rectangle of the screen rotates and adapts automatically to the horizontal screen.
Before this change, the screen just "switched off" for a millisecond and then "switched on" again in the new position...no fancy rectangle rotating

Having only looked at the commit that added them to CM7, I think the transition animations might not be too hard assuming the relevant parts of CM6 aren't too different from CM7, but from the commit message it sounds like the rotation animation part may be quite involved. Has anyone tried this with CM6:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342117
If so, then it the transitions should be super-easy.

[REQ] ACheps ICS Layout

Hey there,
Has anyone managed to patch there CM 7.1 Legend with ACheps ICS layout mod found here? I've tried multiply times resulting in my status bar simply not showing and coming up with an error. If anyone has succeeded can they post there patch files here for me to use? Thanks
I've also tried it with CM7.1 but without success. Lock-ring and transitions effects did work, but the statusbar crashes right after unlocking the phone.
I've got it working a while ago.
Quite easy if you're reading the Instructions.
1) Deodex your ROM (Important, otherwise there will be crashes like hell)
2) Run the AChep Patcher
3) Put the Files back to your phone and flash them
4) Maybe you have to revert to stock and then flash again to make it work properly.
The first step is the hardest step, but it's easy if you read...
yop, i get this thing working without problem, running KANG 7.1 CM, just recieved one warning about resolution when applying, commited, screen made some resolution changes and the went back to normal with the status bar and the rest correctly...
Got bootloop when I tried.
I think someone should release a rom with this theme as default
Aha I didn't realise you need to deodex your rom! I read the instructions many a time and didn't see it state that, ah well. I think I prefer an odes rom over this modification. But I would be interested in a custom build cm7 with this already on.

Why don't you ask this guy here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1515410 , he is currently making a new rom for the HTC Legend and wouldn't mind for some suggestions.
I Have TGF´s cm7.1 costum rom... where is a patch to to get centered clock and transparency status bar. or use Kang 7.2 TGF on Legend Development.
I´ve have apply A chep´s ICS theme, get ics transitions on the theme, flash mod to lock screen on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1312431
And have change clock fonts. Try to see on this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363239

[ROM] TEAM Stock @Xperia 2011 [04-03-2012] [PLAY 2.3.4]

T.E.A.M. Stock Rom for 2011 Xperia devices
(Arc, Arc S, Ray, Active, Play, Neo, Neo V)
pvyParts and iridaki
Proudly Present you
T.E.A.M. Stock Rom
A Rom for the Community By the Community!
YOU MUST Read this Post FULLY Before you Post any Questions!
First of all, hello 2011 Xperia Devices World!
We are coming from a galaxy far far away, where and when the X10 was a flagship!
We created the T.E.A.M ROM for the X10 and now we are taking the first step towards porting it to the next generation of devices.
The new TEAM ROM will be universal across the following devices:
1. Xperia Arc
2. Xperia Arc S
3. Xperia Active
4. Xperia Ray
5. Xperia Play
6. Xperia Neo
7. Xperia Neo V

( Devices with smaller screen resolution, such as Mini and Mini Pro will follow later on we didn't forget you! )
How we did that?
We have developed a Auto-Magic installation script that will work on any Xperia device by customising system files appropriately during flashing.
Some of the many new and unique features of the upcoming TEAM ROM:
1. Quick sound profiles integrated into the ROM -forget any 3rd party apps, now it's all accessible from the power menu
2. Brightness toggle control with a neat popup you can bring up any time from your statusbar
3. TEAM Tweaks (customise your clock/date/battery/signal text color/size/font, integrated battery bar)
4. Transparency everywhere you look!
5. Elegant TEAM theme
6. New Clock and Calendar from leaked Xperia S GB ROM
7. Tweaks for ambient sensor, minfree and more
8. Enhanced power menu with reboot options: Reboot, Reboot in Recovery, Reboot in Fastboot. If you choose the latter, you will be prompted to insert your USB cable and the procedure will complete only after you have! As convenient as it gets
9. Compatible with any 2.3.4 ROM, any kernel, any current setup. It will not wipe your data or intefere with the way you have been using the phone so far. It will only make it MUCH better
We are introducing the "ROM/AddOn" concept and we are looking forward to your feedback.
ROM/AddOn means:
* One Zip all Phones! with some Scripting magic we can keep all devices updated with a single zip.
And last but not least, don't forget we have great things in store for all of you:
* Full AppMan Support with 100% OTA Capable, Auto-Magicaly Flashed updates (comming soon)
HOW TO INSTALL:
REQUIREMENTS
HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY BEFORE STARTING!
You must also me on a 2.3.4 Stock Firmware
( This is not a Stock based ROM, it is a Sony Stock Firmware )
You will also need Root and CWM
This will work on either Locked or unlocked bootlaoders that meat the above requiments
NO DATA WILL BE WIPED DURING INSTALLATION!
1. Boot into Recovery and make a NANDROID BACKUP ( This is really IMPORTANT, as we can't recover your data! If the fan gets soiled )
2. Flash the "TEAM_ROM_v0001_HDPI.zip" via Recovery.
3. Reboot and let the phone do it's thing as it will be rebuilding caches and settling.
First boot can take up to 10 minutes so be patient!
If you want to use your own custom Clock font:
1. You should place your custom font in folder /system/TEAM/font and it should be a .ttf file named clock_font.ttf.
2. Go to Settings > Tweaks and check the option Custom Font for whatever element you wish (clock, battery, signal, date).
You can now also tweak the text size to your liking!!

Q & A
Q: Where is AppMan?
A: AppMan will suffer a full rewrite and will be ready for a future update!
Q: Can I use this or that kernel for unlock or locked bootloader?
A: ALL kernels built for stock ROMs WILL WORK on this rom. We have tested all of them so take our word for it. ( yes we are flash junkies )
Q: Can I use this or that theme?
A: Short answer, no. Unless of course it is built of our framework. We have made MASSIVE mods to the framework so most themes will disable most, if not all, options in the Tweaks app.
( unfortunatly themers dont like our framework as it changes too often )
Q: I am getting a FC on this or that, can you help me!
A: NO. We can't help you. Because what you just said means nothing to us.
We want to help you SO much, but in order to do that you need to report the bug properly.
We took care of that too, see here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18195325
Q: OMG YOU STOLE MY WORK! YOU [email protected]#$!% etc etc etc
A: We kindly ask you that if you have an issue with any of the inclusions in the ROM to either PM me or iridaki so we can sort it out politely There is no need to flame in the thread. Also if we have forgotten credits, please let us know and we will add them immediately.
Q: This rom is stupid, I hope you fail, "that" ROM is better!
A: That's cool, use "that" ROM. There is absolutely no need to report your disgust unless of course you have constructive criticsm. Personal Preference isn't a bug or an issue
We encourage EVERYONE to use the ROM they feel is best for them
Q: wow this is cool can i...
A: HOLD UP read our rules
1- no whining about our work
2- no asking for eta's
3- no asking for eta's
4- no useless posts in development thread
5- logcat or GTFO
6- no asking for eta's

Does exactly what it says on the tin, downloaded over wifi, flashed in recovery (after backing up) and it looks and feels very nice. Contacts/apps/texts/wallpaper was exactly as i left it (as mentioned in OP) very impressed, best ROM ive used on the Play so far and i too am a flashing junkie, great job!

This is great, can't wait for future updates, especially looking forward to having the ability to customise the notification power widget.
Remember to re-set your alarms after flashing this as it installs a new clock (and alarm) app
I'd like to thank you and your mate for making this ROM.
I have a few questions:
How to make a Nandroid Backup ?
And what about gamepad ? Can you make it work without issues?
I am asking this question because it is important to me + untill now I haven't seen it works perfectly on all existing custom ROMs for xperia play.
what kernel needs to be used on this rom? can i use a stock based doomkernel?
Nice to see more devs getting in on xperia models. Just a bit of advice, put GSM label for this thread so it doesn't cause any confusion to the community

This should work on all variants of the play that have a 2.3.4 OS (NM just figured out the CDMA one is 2.3.3)
The gamepad works perfect no worries. Very nice rom. Only thing I've had trouble with is the font size and color. Its white many times and can't read it. Also the status bar icons don't change from gray clock and battery percent color works. Pop-up windows are white also very hard to read any way to change it?

Looks great! I'm about to try. Thank you!
Thanks you guys! Let me know if you find any problems. Ill see what I can do to fix them. Also make sure you follow the install directions all the way through. In the future post-install user edits wont be required. I just need to work out some kinks first and im learning as I go. =)
Nice! This is definitely different (ICS with Google Now). Just curious, how essential is Launcher 7? I'm guessing not at all, but I'm curious. I'm enjoying CM7 currently, but this is highly tempting.

Noo it's not required at all. But consider trying it out you might like it! :good:
Also, in case any of you are wondering why the base isn't JellyBean... I had been using JB ever since release and went back to ICS one day and had completely forgotten how smooth and easy on the battery it is. I figured as long as i could get some of the main features of JB (Google Now) working it might be worth it to revert back to ICS until our JB matures a bit more and/or we get those missing components from Moto.

what's modded in the launcher 7..? I had already bought the launcher 7 donate for an older phone. If I install it, will i have to extract the apk and modify it?

As of right now the only thing modded are the default 1x1 and 1x2 icons used for tiles, but this will change shortly. You can achieve the same result with the paid version of launcher7 by downloading the icon pack i linked to in the Addons section of the op. The only irritating part about this is you will need to use a program like Quickpic and set its background color to white to actually 'see' what you are selecting when changing a tiles icon due to them being black.
I have to host the rom elsewhere, my links went down. Hmm not sure where would be good though.. Sorry for the inconvenience to those wanting to try the ROM. I'll be reuploading later today and may have a ROM update too if all goes well.
Double post woops.

Nope, not wondering at all! Your reasoning makes a lot of sense.
And I don't need to consider trying Launcher 7; I have in the past. I do like it, but it's not for me. Launcher 7, and WP7 in general, I feel, is not very app-centric at all. It's for people who use their phone for phone stuff and have maybe a couple apps. I have 51 apps installed (in Google Play) and I use probably a dozen at least weekly (if not more). I feel like L7/WP7 are more minimalist than I need. But I do like the idea. I actually like a semi-minimalist appearance on my phone; apps are grouped in folders, and aligned to the bottom of the screen, with widgets at the top. But I have access to a lot of apps in a short distance from any given point. That said, I do like seeing you base the presentation of your ROM around a launcher that doesn't resemble AOSP. It's a fairly unique approach. And that's the mentality I like to see in devs. It's thinking outside the box, as it were.
Links are back up. Will be updating the ROM soon.

Version 1.1 is released.

You flashed version 1.1? Within the aroma installer did you choose to do a full wipe? Did you choose gsm or cdma? Did it appear to install correctly or hang at a specific part? What recovery version are you running? I use joker v3, haven't tested it with anything else. Did the dual core screen begin to make little waves as if trying to boot? I'll see if I can get you sorted out.
:EDIT:
Thinking it was a bad upload I downloaded the rom and flashed. Within aroma I selected full wipe, cdma, and installed it. Booted up just fine for me.

I've been thinking of ditching the aroma installer too actually. I will make the next version without aroma. Again though, can you give me any more details? Does the aroma installer actually go all the way through and seem to install fine? What options did you pick? What recovery youre using?

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
BE AWARE THAT THIS IS VERY VERY BETA. THINGS ARE BROKEN ON IT. I DON'T WANT REPORTS OF ISSUES THAT I HAVE LISTED BELOW. I WILL BE FIXING THINGS AS I CAN. DO NOT AS FOR AN ETA, AS THIS IS PRETTY DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS BUILDS.

Bugs??:
KNOWN ISSUES:
Videocamera : Use VideoCam Illusion
Slight Lag possible on screen transitions
USB tether
The graphics related issues are due to not having proper drivers to use for this. Don't ask for an ETA on a fix. Moto won't be giving us the drivers, so there is no fix
If you need to report a NEW bug, report it once, and the next TWO people VERIFY it. I don't need everyone reporting same bug 20 times. I you can, provide me the following information:
Version you're using
What type of fwipe you did and what ROM you came from
Have you restored any data from something like Titanium Backup
What app is misbehaving and what you were doing when it started
Logcats<--THIS IS PREFERRED.
If you don't know how to logcat, go HERE and learn. This really nice guy took the time to write out a good how to

Good job man, are you now including a theme? Or does that come with one of the Options packages?
Can this be dirty-flashed over 10/10, or just cache/dalvik?
I see you've got your own recovery now. Is that the same as the "joker's v3 CWM" that everyone recommends, or something else?

Something else. Newer. Vers 6.0.1.5. I have flashed MIUI, CM10, and AOKP with it now....worked perfectly for it
Theme is just an example of one that is in the market (Cobalt)
If 10.10 is 4.1.2, then I would say yes. If it's still 4.1.1,then no, you would need to wipe all....just to be safe. I forgot which version of android 10.10 is...LOL

Okay, definitely checking out your recovery then. I really prefer TWRP (bunch of reasons, not just the touch) but if one works better than the other for some ROMs, no reason I can't go back and forth.
Kind of waiting for CNA (I know you're waiting on the dev) but CM10 10/10 is rock solid. And it's 4.1.2, I believe it was your first 4.1.2.
I knew you had a thing for Cobalt, but I'd only seen the red one. I just got one called "Elegant Green", it's okay but wasn't really what I was after. I might have to learn to theme and make my own, or just get ROM Toolbox. The default CM theme is fine, I'd just change all the cyan to a shade of green (I'm kinda bad with hex, but around #00DD30 is what I like).
Anyway, thanks again for your work on this. I can hit the Thanks buttons, but it needs to be said more. So, thanks. :good:
Thanks Bill for everything! Can you possibly include a changelog for the builds either on here or in goomanager? Thanks again!
Bill. What is the difference between your CWM vs. Joker's CWM v3? Just curious if its better to be flashing your CWM vs. Jokers for your CM10 ROMs. Thanks.

Not able to flash any rom
When I'm flashing any rom in the recovery an error comes "Can't open /emmc/name of the rom.zip(bad)"
Help please
Dirty flashed 10/28 over 10/10 (both JB 4.1.2 ROMs), everything seems to be in order. Data works, su works. (10/10 had been flashed clean after a "wipe all".)
Finally took your theme advice and installed Cobalt... Kiwi Cobalt. It's his green one. It's the best green theme I've used. I'm seeing a lot of elements from Mixer (or maybe Mixer borrowed from Cobalt) so it's not at all unfamiliar. Now I just need a nice dark brushed-metal wallpaper (currently on the one in the first screenshot) to complete my black-on-green look. Might also alter the wallpaper to have a green Cid instead of cyan (can one simply extract a wallpaper out of a wallpapers chooser pack like that?).
How come no real progress is being done with battery life? I'm running Bills's and Jokers roms from the beginning, I'm using GSM and I barely have any apps, I have only one google account synced and I barely get 8 hours if I don't use the phone at all, I thought it was related to the KDDI modem so I flashed back to stock, I now have the n_01.28.05s.fk modem and still same battery life.
Will the new drivers/kernel improve battery life? is any of Bills other JB roms (aokp, CNA, Paranoid) better optimized for battery life?

Hey guys! I have owned my Galaxy Player 4.2 for about a year now and am tired of waiting for a custom ROM for it. So I decided to take the matter into my own hands. At first my thought was to try developing CM for this device. But that idea was discarded mostly because I am a noob at linux kernels and basically building android itself. Not only that, even if I did succeed in building a ROM, it is sure to have a LOT of bugs that I am sure I would'nt be able to fix. So my next goal was to try and make the stock gingerbread feel like a jellybean/kitkat ROM, an idea that I got from the R.E.D.D ROM for the Galaxy Players 4 & 5. I started modding the stock deodexed ROM about 2 months ago and now I have modded it to an extent where a non-developer would swear that it was a CM10+ ROM . So anyway, enough chitchat, let's go to the actual ROM!
DISCLAIMER:
I have made this ROM from scratch, i.e, modded every part of it manually. If you would like to use any part of this ROM, or the ROM itself for any development purposes, please go ahead, but PM me first and give proper credits.
Although this is my own ROM and I personally use it as a daily driver, I do not take any responsibility for bricks and/or failed flashes, even though there is less than 1% chance for such an incident.
Now moving on to the...

Basically, once you flash this ROM, I am sure you'll stick with it. (unless a miracle occurs and we actually get a stable CM port ).
Update v1.3 is online. You can flash it OTA by installing the OTA Update Package below, or directly flash it with CWMr.
Installation Instructions:
NOTE:
As of now, I'm only aware of this method to install the ROM. You need to be on a stock deodexed ROM first. I'm not sure why, but it is not possible to make the transition form the stock odexed ROM to the customized ROM. So here are the instructions to flash the ROM:
-> First, download any deodexed ROM ( This one has been reported to work http://d-h.st/u4C) (thanks @groovychap and @ChaosChris )
-> Download HoloFrenzy
-> Boot into CWM recovery
-> Flash the deodexed ROM
-> Once it finishes, reboot and boot into recovery again.
-> Now flash the HoloFrenzy ROM.
-> Clear cache and dalvik-cache
-> Reboot. Done
Installation Instructions for update packages:
-> Make sure you're on HoloFrenzy
-> Download the update package
-> Flash in CWM
-> Reboot. Done
Bug Reports and Feature Requests:
If you notice any bugs, feel free to post here and/or send me a PM. I will look into it ASAP.
I hope that all users of this ROM find it great to use. If you find anything unthemed or if you want any features, please don't hesitate to post here or send me a PM. If it's possible in GB, I will try my best to implement it.
Updates:
I will update the ROM as frequently as possible and also when necessary. I will not be uploading the ROM again (as I have crappy internet) but will post update packages. Once I decide to make a final version, I will make a final zip of the whole ROM. Links to update packages will be posted here.

Galaxy Player 4.2
Gonna try this out on my U.S. Galaxy Player 4.2, I asked a few other devs for help on ROMs and building since I'm not so experienced myself, but I think it is possible to get a working CM9+ ROM for the Galaxy Player 4.2, the 4.0 was able to get ROMs like that so why shouldn't the 4.2. Anyways I'm gonna flash this
Yeah I know it will be possible...but no one who owns the 4.2 is an experienced developer.
We should be able te get CM9 running as TI has released the drivers for the 3.0.8 kernel for the Omap3630. So porting the kernel should be easy. We could fork a repo from the galaxy sl and try.
I am ready to help you out as much as I can. Good luck!
Also please do give me your opinion on the ROM too.

Yes we should be able to get it running! Now that the drivers for the kernel are released porting should be easy like you said, and sure! Do you have Google+/Hangouts?
Also, the ROM is in a bootloop

Both of these things happened to me, but I eventually got it working.
This is how I did it:
1. I restored back to stock + root.
2. I flashed ChaosChris' 'Stock Apps' rom (http://d-h.st/u4C).
3. I cleared both the cache and the dalvik cache.
4. I flashed the HoloFrenzy rom and rebooted to recovery.
5. I flashed the update package and rebooted properly.
@jmindset thanks. If @drakonizer would like to take a look to my rom he only needs to send me a pm. I'll be happy if my work will make the difference because this rom is awesome and the only rom that has worked for me is (after mine/BigD based) the one that now has no dowload links anymore. I can't remember the name... Sorry.
Sent from my Galaxy Note with CM11 Beta 7
If you've got Titanium Backup, you may need to reinstall it afterwards. However, I believe this is due to a clash with ChaosChris' 'Stock Apps' rom, as opposed to a bug with HoloFrenzy.
You see, Chris created four 'Enhanced Stock' roms:
-Stock Apps
-Debloated
-Enhanced Stock Apps
-Enhanced Debloated
Now, the two enhanced roms are supposed to improve the status bar, but on my device, they actually removed it.
Thus the 'Stock Apps' and 'Debloated' roms were the only viable options for me. However, the download link for 'Debloated' is unfortunately dead, which meant that I had to go with the 'Stock Apps' rom.
Now, before I flashed 'Stock Apps', I was running stock + root, and I'd used Titanium Backup to freeze/delete a lot of the bloatware that came with the device.
And that's where I think the clash happened. The 'Stock Apps' rom put bloatware which was previously frozen/deleted back on my device, and thus Titanium Backup crashed every time I attempted to open it.
Here are a couple of screenshots of HoloFrenzy running on my Galaxy Player.

It turns out that the 'Debloated' rom is still available to download: http://dl-chaos.tk/hugo/ChaOS/YP-GL1-ChaOS.Stock.XXLF1.DB.DEO.ZIPA.Root.zip
So, if you flash it before flashing HoloFrenzy, you should be able to prevent problems with Titanium Backup.

Thanks @HellPie, but I seem to have got it working. It was a problem with the ROM signature. I fixed it and currently I am trying to add some build prop tweaks. I will upload the fixed ROM soon

I know that if you edit something into the systemui.apk app you'll need to sign every single apk again in /system/app... Is it true?

Congratulations, especially after everyone quit this device.
Any chances of implementing Boeffla sound in this Rom?
