Yes. In webOS for the HP Touchpad, you can go to Settings --> Regional Settings --> Keyboard Type and change from an "English Qwerty" keyboard to a "French Azerty" keyboard. You can also change the Default Language of the Touchpad to German, English, Spanish, French, and Italian.
As for Android (if you plan on installing CM7), you will have the option of picking your own keyboard, language, etc.
Hope this helps!

Android Keyboard in JB

Morning guys,
I now see that Vietnamese has been added to "input language" in the Android Keyboard (in Jelly Bean). But I don't know how to use it to type Vietnamese. , my language, and I don't know how to switch between English to Vietnamese either.
Currently I'm using Multiling Keyboard (or GoTiengViet), but if there is a default builtin keyboard, it is much better.
Drop me some instructions, please.

Hi,
If I understand what you mean, you want QWERTY keyboard over Croatian dictionnary right ?
That way the answer is yes, in the settings you set language as Croatian and click on the small keyboard on the right, then you put on US QWERTY keyboard, that's it

Yep, that is right.
But when i select Croatian keyboard, and tap small keyboard icon to select layout, there is no US QWERTY... Only QWERTY and QWERTZ keyboards with čšćđž that i dont want..
OK I see, I thought you only wanted key-positions... So I don't think actually it can be done BUT you may ask the developpers as it may be pretty easy to add on next update
You need strip Unicode option that is included in some mms.apk

How to enable Gesture typing for AOSP keyboard Persian languages?

Hi
I'm working on the AOSP keyboard. Its gesture typing works well with English and other language but not with Persian. I’m wondering what the problem is. Is there an issue with the Persian dictionary?
