I've been unable to stream most of my movies since the ICS (and/or a plex app update, not sure yet) . Is anyone else exeriencing problems with plex? I keep getting the "there was a problem with media playback" error while attempting to play movies that worked before the update. Any ideas? (I've tried disabling all dev options just in case)

After rooting and installing gapps thanks to Indirect and Anlog I was looking for a solution to stream my movies from the pc something like air video on the iPad well Qloud media work as good and even better with mkv files

When i tried to download this the first time it said my nt is not compatible, so i found an apk elsewhere and installed it and when i try to add a server qloud force closes. Any advice?

I returned to stock and rerooted, (blocked the ota this time) and installed qloud media 2.2.0 on the NT and it worked perfect.

I have been experiencing annoying unresponsive issues with my prime while connected through HDMI to my TV. I will start watching a TV show or movie without problems... until I choose to watch another episode/movie, then the tablet doesn't recognize my touch. At first, I thought it was the Netflix app, but then I noticed that the issue replicated in other apps, browser, keyboard, even while selecting a recent app... In the browser (any browser i try)is even more annoying - if I attempt to enter a web address, the browser will act up, zoom in, refresh and even minimize itself...
I have been using HDMI for a week so I'm not sure if this is related to the most recent software update. Has anybody experience this issue? Any known solutions??

Mine works flawlessly. C2 serial, running the latest virtuous from with beta kernel from motley.

Firstly,the phone is awesome and im loving it.
However, I'm having 2 problems which I'm hoping someone can help with....
1. On the home screen, I have set up a folder with some apps in it. I re arrange the apps but after half a day or so, the apps have moved their position in the folder. Anyone else getting this?
2. In Video Player, I go to 'Nearby Devices' and I can see my DLNA server but when I select it, it says 'Contents Location is not available. Check network status and connected device' . This server works fine with my Transformer Prime and PS3. Any ideas what I need to do to get it working?

broadcasting pics and videos to it works beautifully though..
what app do you use on your transformer prime? I have a TF101 but I don't access my XBMC from it.
Has there been any update on the issue related to not being able to watch Google Play purchases on TV via HDMI?
I know there was some back and forth on it between ASUS and Google, but I'm hoping there's been some resolution.
If not, do we have any other options for streaming Google Play HD vids to TV?

Just pay for it on google play, and then go download it somewhere else. Its the easiest way.

hey, is HDMI in general working for you guys after JB update? mine worked on ics perfectly..but now it shows for 2sec after cable is plugged in, then disappears, shows again and so on....

I cannot find anything about connecting the HDX 8.9" to my PS3 do to the mirror or second screen. Mayday was no help either, they had no idea.

You have to have the kindle and ps3 on the same network and the amazon app open on the ps3

Thankyou, I will check it out in a few. I had updated the PS3 and went thru every setting, and couldn't find anything. I don't use the PS3, as I am a PC man.
I can't find any apps on the ps3 other than the Amazon prime one and that doesn't do it.
You can side load AllCast.apk it works on any upnp device. I can stream movies from my HDX 7 to my roku just fine. video and sound play great.

Was able to get the PS3 to work, using the method that murso74 said, but the stupid thing pauses every two - three minutes, and you have to hit play to get it to go again.
As for the Allcast, it is in a timed beta, that has no working links, and you have to subscribe to their Google+ account, and even then you cannot get it.
