Ok, maybe this is stupid.... And I've searched all over google & xda and I can't find an answer....
How do I change the number of home screens of my Galaxy Tab?? (If possible)
I don't need 5, I wan't less.
Thx in advance.
PS: I know I can do it with a Launcher, but I want to know how to do it without one.
Don't believe you can without a launcher. I've never heard of a way to do this.

I wonder if the galaxy S method also works for the SG2. Has any SG2 owner tried it?:
Yes, I know there are alternative launchers, but I ask for the standard stock Android interface (and without needing to install anything from other phone).
No it defaults back and the standard home is not available.

No,if you want pure stock Android experience,Google Nexus series is what you are looking for.
Touchwiz/Sense all are default android launchers of Samsung & HTC.
No way you can get standard stock Android interface{although launcher pro & adw does a pretty good job}

No what i am saying is that if you have seen Nexus 1 & Nexus S video, both of these have a stock{not skinned} launchers..Although Nexus 1 was HTC & Nexus S was Samsung.
But then launcher pro,adw launcher all will run on SGS 2{or any other android smartphone},simply replace skinned touchwiz/sense UI with launcher pro/go launcher/adw
If you do get a SGS II you'll find that you'll love TW4 this is coming fron a guy who used to use launcher pro on sgs.
But fet the nexus s if you're wanting that desperately

Does anyone know if the Custom ROM 'Omega v4.0' for the Galaxy S3 has the option (like Apex Launcher) to KEEP IN MEMORY..?
The ONE and ONLY reason i want to change ROMs is because my homescreen widgets and icons are CONSTANTLY re-drawing whenever i exit an app, and its WINDING ME UP!
Does the same for any other launcher!!
Apex launcher (whilst kept in memory) seems to be better, but i would prefer the stock launcher so was thinking of changing to the Omega ROM.
So yeah, back to my question, can the Omega v4.0 ROM be 'KEPT IN MEMORY'..?
Why not you ask the developer himself?

I want my phone to be faster and faster, Updates in my phone and make it smoother, and wait can i ask, do i need to jailbreak/ rooted my phone?
Can i have the link for the updates and tweaks?
Do what i do to all my friends gs3.
First root your phone. Then install any Jelly bean rom. I suggest omega 29.
You can find the how to on the posts here in the forum. Use the search.
For a fast gs3, most impotant thing. Change your launcher. Touchwiz is a memory eater i install nova for everyone.
Then disamble s voice. And be happy with lightning fast gs3
All my friends love what i do with theyre phones.

You don't have to uninstall TouchWiz launcher and infact you'll still keep TW features like swipe left or right shortcuts in your contacts/call log, etc. But all you need to do is install a new launcher from the Play Store and you will have the option to use as default if you want.
Nova is nice ..Holo is almost identicle but a little newer. Holo HD for Jelly Bean
If you want to improve your smartphone.. you have a lot of ways to do that. Google can help give you ideas but rooting in general opens the door to a lot of possibilities. Best bet is to take some time.. a lot if time and read about rooting, and apps that can extend the functionality of your device !
Oh and please post in the correct section. Questions belong in Q&A.

Does it exist?
I've been using Swiftkey for ages and have been happy with it until now, so I've been using the original Samsung keyboard for a while, and I must say I like it a lot! Great predictions and accuracy, but way to few options. So I'm looking for a modified version, if it exists, since I lack the skill to modify it myself.
I searched around for it, but no luck. Perhaps there's no sourcecode to be found, I dunno..
Any help would be appriciated =)
you can get help in the help section, not this one

Would like to be able to change the layout somewhat. Miss having characters like "," "!" and "?" available through the main layout, like holding down "." and getting a popup with these characters (and more) instead of a bunch of smilies..
And more settings regarding behavior, predictions and such, like you've got in Swiftkey and such.
Maybe I'm asking for the moon, hehe..
How about trying Swype beta?
go to themes and apps section and search for note 2 keyboard.
Just figured out that the settings button also serves as "," "!" "?" and "'" , which is a great improvement, but I'll check out the Note 2 keyboard anyway! Thanks =)
Greetings friends!
i have small problem
my capacitive buttons dont work
i have Galaxy Note N7000 JB version, and im Rooted (and for that upgrade and rooting, i asked for help, cuz im a bit noob in that section :// )
So i'm not in that "rooting" buissness...
I would like to have somehting like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1940842 but this only works on ICS
oooooooooor some similar program like this https://play.google.com/store/search?q=virtual+button+bar&c=apps...
I heard about others custom roms that all ready have that feature built in, but i dont want to loose the sweetness of my Note ))
So if anybody know anything easy, and good, please help me, ill own you one!
Best Regards!
