Is there a way to move the apps to the usb storage instead the SD card? I ask this because i dont have an SD card but i have plenty of room on my internal memory. The system memory is 2gb but is getting full.
Whenever I press the move to sd button when managing apps it says theres no sd card. I also tried app2sd with the same result

Good day guys and hope you can help me with this. Im running Miui 2.1.6 with Siyah kernel 3.3.1, my problem is my internal sd and external sd cards being swapped or thats how the system views it. whenever i try to move apps from phone to sd card whether via app manager or apps 2 sd it moves my apps to my external sd card which is annoying. im only using my external sd card for media and not for my apps. after moving those apps it creates a .android_secure folder on my external sd with .asec files on it. im assuming that this is a problem with how the phone identifies my internal & external sd cards, i tried removing my external sd card and again tried to move apps to sd card and it says it doesnt have enough space which is crazy because my sd card has 6GB free space on it.
See question. 2 and 9 gb of space is not cutting it for me with a lot of programs not allowing you to move stuff to the external sd card. Is there a way that works for the amaze to move data to the external sd card?

you can use almost any file manager with root premissons or not in order to move stuff from your internal storage to your sd card.. the only issue is you have to be careful of what you move because not every app will function properly if moved to external storage.. i think titanium backup also allows you to batch move apps to the phones internal storage (not system storage that's the 2gb)

link2SD, move applications to SD card even if it doesn't allow to (it's built-in to ROMS for phones with smaler internal memory, like my low-end Optimus T with 150MB internal)
however, the speed of the SD card is generally slower than internal memory... just a small warning
another option would be the app 'gl to sd' (or something similar to that).
its free and its main use is to save the gameloft game data to your external sdcard. ive tried it and it works with the games. i do believe it'll allow you to move other app data as well.
I'm running neatrom kitkat build , I was running out of space on 2gb app partition so i started moving all large apps by using " Move to SD" option in settings. To my surprise all the apps were moved from 2GB partition to internel sd (11.50GB) instead of my external SD card. WTF? I've around 6GB+ of free space on my external sd card so what's the damn problem?
What's the point of inserting micro sd card when you're unable to move your crap on it. Funny thing is that Android wants you insert micro sd card to move your apps to "Internal sd card"
Any solution?

This is not a bug, but it is more of a feature of android. The reason why apps are not moved to external sd card is because it will take longer to load your apps, especially on boot. Also, there will be a much higher chance that you will find that your apps are missing as android is unable to load all of your apps fast enough.
For some time i have used an SD card on my P9000 as Internal storage.
The advantage of this should be the possibility to install apps on the SD card.
It has been a source of issues though:
*malfunction of apps,
*apps disappearing after restart of P9000,
just to name some.
Moving the apps to the internal memory seems to fix these issues.
So, i have decided to format the SD card as portable storage.
This can be done by Settings, Storage & USB, SD card, vertical ellipsis ⋮ menu (top-right)
Before formatting, I want to move all data from the SD card.
After moving apps, photos & other media there is still 3.73 GB used on the SD card.
What is the 3.73 GB on an empty SD card?
How about transferring data from internal to sd card on Elephone P7000?
Is there any apps that allows us to play Game data/obb on external sd card? i know some apps like Link2sd,foldermount,app2sd. but they seemed to be not working on recent android version. the only option i have now is to format external sd card as internal storage but it's kinda useless cause it cant move game data to external sd card, only the apk file. i also have option to 'Migrate' to external sd card and this one will allow me to move game data/obb to external sd card but my internal sd card will be useless and unaccessible. i have 64b internal storage and i want to keep my apps on internal storage for performance purposes. i just want to put and play some of my game data to external sd card.

Check in Xposed installer. they might have some modules. I'm not so sure. But it should be worth a try
