Hey guys
looking for a good call recorder for ace.tried a lot of apps from market but sound quality is bad and records only one side.
any good app that recorders calls both ways?

both way call recording needs support from the kernel, hard coded into the kernel itself. we dont have kernel with such feature yet.
Seriously not a single kernel??
I don't mind flashing or doing anything to it

I am looking for a software with which I can record both parties conversation in normal phone mode.
There are some software to do recording on speaker mode but I want it on normal mode only strictly due to privacy policy. Have searched on google and on xda-developer also but somewhere I read its possible but how tht link was not working.
If anybody can help me out tht will be

there are lot of software but it wont be able to record clearly esp calling person statement,

Set the Bit rate and quality of sound...& a lot more

I disagree with you. I´ve been using either Resco Audio Recorder, or Vito Audio notes (which is better in my opinion) and both have poor earing volume, almos no soun at all.

Hi Guys,
After struggling for almost 2 years finally I found a way to record both parties voice without putting call on speakerphone. You need to install the attached file and then soft reset your device and bingo you are able to record voice using Vito Audio Notes. I have tested it and its working like charm. Can it record both sides while phonecall? HD2 (I have) can NOT yet... What about another device with Snapdragon?

only 1-way on my HD2... mic+speaker echo...
it works as a charm with the 2way utility
only that if u are having audio problems (high gain but quiet) like some of us , the same effect shall remain in the recording , also i suggest recording at the volume level one below max in ur in-call volume bar so the 2 sides are pretty even ... get Vito audionotes > autorecord/to: storagecard/wav high quality , and on u go !!!

HD2 - NOT WORKS! Only 1-way+mic echo.
Do you test it on TG01? It works???
If works, this is a good news! That is NOT because of Snapdragon processor. But we steel need solution for HD2 and that is why I posted this thread.

Sound quality is bad but perhaps this is really as others hear us....
Any idea to improve it?
seems to be 1-way... When 2-way is possible, quality of record both sides almost equal!

i posted that it works on tg01 becuz it works on tg01... pretty simple if u ask me
I only wish to understand ability of 2-way recording via another device with Snapdragon processor.

Could you describe how did you start recording telephone conversations on the TG01. What is your version of ROM and what is the order of installation. I would be very grateful. Regards.
i have the 2 way recording cab on
and i have vito audionotes on , installed in that order , ull see my recommended settings in my prev post , ROM i dont remember but ive used 4-5 roms this far and it worked on all
tried it in stock and 5005.1600.05 radio ver
its best to adjust the incall volume to one under the max cuz it will be disorted and also move the mic a bit away cuz it will be too loud compared to the other side , also i turn mic gain off in vito

You can also try Resco Audio Recorder instead of Vito. Both tested and working,

I tried to do as you wrote, but I still have a little problem. My voice is clean and clear but the caller voice is distorted. I tried to change the volume level of the system but it does not help. Is it possible to set the recording level? Or maybe there is some other simple way to solve this problem.

other voice is distorted for me anyway , in the actual phone calls too ... lol

I use Vito Audio Notes 1.38 (NOT the touch version wich is buggy) and I record 2-way with good quality using default settings. I can also record on demand.

There is no call recorder as voice recording hardware is not compatible for recording call in Galaxy 3
I do it with Ultimate Voice Recorder, but only works with speakerphone turned on...

this is NOT the problem.....
its a software problem..
samsung must have (and usualy does) disable this feature for legal perposes
as some countries have issues with this!
the hardware can route the sound anyware it just needs a little kernel tweak!
once the devs have less on their hands we can ask them to impliment this feature
I agree with unreal...coz these,call recorder only not work on samsung phones...except galaxy s..

i have galaxy pro B7510 and i have rooted it already and tried so many call recorder but none of them recording any call...its just recording my voice only just like a voice recorder...so please if anybody knw any working call recorder or any specific for galaxy pro then please let me knw

even i have tried many call recorders on my b7510, but none working 100%. the only ones that work record from loud speaker to mic. dont know of many phones that support this function aswell.

My phone is a XPERIA NEO-V , I tried a lot of android software to record the voice of calls, but all I found that is actually recording well is "recordmycall" .. but it's record volume of the voice of other person is very low, but my voice is clear and loud. I think SONY's official kernals and OS don't have a feature to catch other person's voice. Currently I don't use any custom ROMS, KERNELS .. Is there good way to record the other persons voice with a loud voice using a custom kernel or something. Appreciate your help.

it record the tow side with great quality

Use boldbeast call recorder v6.1 for stock rom you have to root your phone and in the setting select Record mode :34 and got to Fix recording issues> unmark change audio controls
