Amazing viseo + help - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I took this video from the sky with RC plane
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_37fpOvuTc
Can I take such a video with the Galaxy II ? Can it produce 60FPS?
Does anybody know a better video recording app than the stock ?
Thanks
Sharon

It can do [email protected], I am not sure what FPS it can do at lower resolutions.
Some people like LGcamera
There is a maximum file size of 4GB due to filesystem limitations, so that would limit the recording time.

any way to improve audio bitrate/Quality in videos recorded by mobile?

Hi I wanted to know if it is possible to improve to improve audio recorded during a video??
I mean I can record video at 720p 25 fps, but the DAMN audio gets recorded at 12 kbps!!
It's just tinny and annoying sound cuts up all the time.
So it is it possible to increase the bitrate of audio via modifying some system file or changing some parameters in phones hidden settings or something like that?? my phone is a Chinese Zopo PILOT ZP100. Thank you.
btw, When I use Sound / voice recorder, it records in 3gppp at high setting with 127 kbps AAC audio.

some users with the same problem on other phones use this app with AMR_WB encoder selected and they reported a significant audio quality improved during video
Try it, it might work
Thanks mate. this actually CAN record high quality audio but the video even when selected to record at 30 fps , reciords at 10-11 fps, I guess its my Class-4 card...
Perhaps compare the data rate required to store video+audio data compared to audio data only, and also account for the lower transfer speed of a class 4 SD card compared to class 10. There might be other limitations as well - if a product is sold as a mid-range phone the picture quality may be deliberately downgraded compared to what the hardware is capable of. Samsung galaxy ace 832MHz arm CPU with class 10 SD card = 320 x 240 video recording

when I use native app to record video, it records with bitrates of 11,000+ and 25 Fps! Just that audio is ****ty 12 kpbs!
With the lgcamera app as I reduce the video bitrate the fps goes up so I think it is a bandwidth issue only but then the native camera app can handle such high bitrates....!

try to find out what encoding is used for 720p in the stock camera app, and make sure it's the same in lgCamera.
with the wrong encoding settings your phone may fall back to software encoding, which is much less efficient.
my phone for example is capable of 30fps 1088p video recording, but using software encoding(hw en/decoding is broken in the rom i use) it can only reach 30fps on 480p, or 720p if i overclock.

Don't know, I guess the free version is capped at 20 FPS cause no matter what parameters I set frame rate doesn't go past 20 FPS...
The default encoder for phone was H.263 in 3GP container. still it doesn't make any difference. I was thinking about editing the Media_profiles.xml in ETC folder but it's not even there!!

Hello,
I have Zp200 and I have the same issue about audio quality... and Lg cam software does not work properly (sometimes close and lock the phone during record).
Do you have any new about how to change this bitrate?
Thanks, Caio.

[Q] Limited 4gb video help

Hi there,
I have a problem with video length when recording it on HTC One. Every video is limited with 4gb size, in other words maximum duration of actual 1080p video is about 30 minutes.
Is there any way to record longer video clips without changing it to 720p or reducing quality of video? Or is there maybe some function on camera (or application to download) which enables automatic recording next video when first one reaches 4gb limit and stop recording?
It would mean a lot if anyone could help me with this issue so thanks in advance guys!
Anyone?

Better camera recording (HD 60FPS)

Ok guys, so this phone can now record HD 60FPS at 30 Mbps, and FHD 43FPS at 22-24Mbps and 480p at 120FPS (this is "720p" slowmo). It can be even better, but .. Camera is recording with H.264 codec level 4.1 and these are max settings for it.
My question. There is a way, to enable Level=4.2? With it we can go FHD 60FPS easily. How to install it? Helio X10 can operate with H.265 codec.
There are lines for HEVC codec in file media_codecs.xml so it can be possible.
Cheers!
xiaomi locked this features of camera (4k rec or 480fps sslow motion) and soc in the kernel, so, without source code we can do nothing bro
Sad news i can say .. Okay .. But at least, can we have better light recording? I mean, this phone has problems with light at videos. Dont know if sensor problems or soft.
how can i use this feature in redmi 2 please help.

Galaxy A5 2017 4k recording with opencamera vs stock video camera

I read somewhere here that you can record 4k with open camera the resolution of the video is 3264 x 1836 which is 4k but youtube does not show 4k option.
The video recorded with opencamera looks way better than the stock Samsung video recording .So is smasung playing tricks with us?
New video this time 100mbs bitrate
How did you do it? I don't know how I have to configure the Opencamera's app to record in 4K.
Thank you very much!

You enable camera2 API and you change the resolution to highest and you can also change the video/audio bitrate you can experiment yourself .But Don't know if there is a difference between 1080p high bitrate vs 4k high bitrate to be honest haven't test it
wtf 4k video?
is 120 fps 1080p or 60 fps 1080p possible? btw I'm on a7 2017 but that shouldn't make much of a difference

Question Why can't I record 4k 60fps from the main app?

It's a bit weird that the Xperia 1 III supports 4k 120fps through Cinema Pro but only 4k 24fps in the camera app.
Sometimes, I don't have the time to setup Cinema Pro and just want to quickly record something, is there a way to enable 4k 60fps in the main app? I have a rooted device if one solution requires it.
I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and there was an app called Camera Mod that allowed to tweak some settings of the stock camera app. Can something similar be developed for the Xperia 1 III?
Also, and that's a lot less important, it possible to record native 120fps files (either 4k or 1080p). By that I mean a video file with a frame rate of 120fps (not slowed down to 60 or 30fps). This phone have a 120Hz display so I would like to record and playback at that refresh rate if possible, without any slowmo, just 120fps recording and play back.
Thank you very much.
