[Q] Overclock CM7.2 - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Hi
I have this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1360889
and i want to overclok my galaxy ace to 900mhz or 950mhz...
Where can I find a compliant kernel for my rom
thanks to all

Sigh. I'll answer just because I feel bad. Have you tried looking in the Development section? SEARCH BEFORE MAKING THREADS.

Seriously...
I hate this type of threads... That's what will turn XDA into an annoying forum instead of making it better.
AND BUDDY! FROM THE SAME SECTION WHERE YO TOOK THE LINK OF YOUR ROM, THERE IS A FREAKING THREAD ABOUT KERNELS... HOW THE HELL DID YOU REALLY SEARCH????

Download cm-blackhawk-kernel.zip, install and enjoy
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1296905
I have the same rom too, I can sugest you a config for it:
1. Use set CPU to set your min/max CPU Speeds actually I'm using SmartassV2 @480-864Mhz, and a Screen off Profile using On-Demand @245-480Mhz
2. I have these framework installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436367
3. For extra speed I'm using these scripts http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1380006

There is just one kernel available which allow us to overclock by ketut. Hope that answers your question.
1- this isnt q&a section.
2- ketut doesnt want his oc kernel to be brought to the mass, thats why he didnt mention it in his thread title. i think to avoid noobies from frying their cpu's.

exactly. just put on external then boot into recovery and flash kernel. no need to wipe anything. thats it. now youll have overclocking. you will still need to use setcpu or something else to set oc where you want it since your not on any custom rom. as long as your rooted and booted your good to go!
and not to be mean but next time put this in the q&a threads. just a heads up...be cool.
thnx again
Ok thnx allot....Q&A ? Is that the questions and answer part ? Sorry I thought I wad in the right place......anyways thnx for the help..

O/c samsung i9100G?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100G.I'm in official German 4.0.4 and i rooted my phone with Method 1 from this guide.
How can i o/c my i9100G?I have to use an app from Play Store like Set Cpu?
Thanks!
i think official firmware cannot OC..
I read somewhere that Samsung set the CPU to 1080mhz on i9100G so i wan't to set it to 1200mhz.Can I?
Sorry for my poor English....I'm trying...
u can try use SetCpu to see if ur current clock is 1080 or 1200. But 1200 is the max frequency for stock firmware
This should be in the Q & A section...
First it should be in ques./andms and other did u even bother to search a bit?
Download nofrills from playstore it ll oc ur phone to 1.2 ghz and with horsepower kernel you can oc to 1.35.
Pleas learn to use search:banghead:

Please read the rules before posting.
"BEST" threads are not allowed here, and this section is meant for development only...
I am sorry I haven't read the rules. but where can I post it then?
The best, fastest ROM, is the one that you find to be so. Who cares what others think, they're not using your phone. Happy flashing and experimenting to find your fast rom.

You can't post best threads anywhere here
Here you can ask questions but avoid asking best Rom, kernel etc. Just take a look at feedback, post thanks etc and choose what's best for you!

There is a new policy on"Best threads" and they are currently being allowed if they produce some useful discussion. The second any flaming starts, they will be closed. However, "best threads" have no place in any of the Development threads and should go into the Q&A or General forums. Thread moved from SIII Android Dev. to SIII Q&A.
Thanks!

As @xmixmaster said above: it's primarily the kernel. So choose any lite ROM, which run's with Boeffla, set governor to performance and stay near a power point
rr is awesome with boeffla kernel zzmoove optimal
