Is anyone else getting the connection error, I just got prime last night, it has update and camera update but is not rooted "yet". I never get to log in screen. in having similar issue with facebook login authentication errors as well. sent ideas out help would be appreciated

first: sometimes while texting i get and SMS Error and it wont send my text.
Says: "General Problems"
if i click details then it says: Cause code: 65535
error class 3
sometimes i just restart the phone and its cool. but then after a while it does it again. now it just does it all the time. but usually to whoever i was texting. sometimes others are not affected.
EDITok so i might have found the solution but i will leave this hear for future reference) i removed the +1 in front of the number and texts are working fine as of right now. if anything changes i will re-edit again.
EDIT2: so this did not work for me. i read it on the vzw community forum.
second issue. GPS. cant get a fix no matter what i do. ive tried everything i could without hard resetting the phone. i even downloaded GPS Status and used that. nothing helped.
phone is all stock. no root.
any help is greatly appreciated.
I had the same issue with textimg yesterday. I could receive but not send and would get the error message you had. I rebooted my phone and have not had the issue since. I am curious as well as to what caused this issue. I am stock, not rooted, and using the stock messaging application.

Try the GPS Test Plus app. It shows you how many satellites you're connecting. It connects actually pretty fast.
Tried accessing netflix on my prime and each time I try to access, I get error code 13001.. Anyone else having this issue? I re-installed the app.. i even deactivated my devices through netflix.
Edit... I had to set my time and date to auto and central time. Works like a charm ; )

Whenever I ask "What is the weather?" or "What is the weather in X city?" I have continually been receiving the response of "No results, sorry." Every other action seems to work fine and I've tried on both wifi and 3g, but weather hasn't been working since last night. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would be occurring? I've tried rebooting and have experienced the same results in multiple locations, even when connected to LTE.

Weather results stopped working last night (July 13) for me as well. All other functions appear to work, but "network error" messages appear about 30% of the time forcing a repeat of the query.

I should have tried this before, but I cleared the data on S-Voice, and weather results appear to be working again.
i thought i fixed mine by doing so too...but i think it may have been coincidental at least for me...last evening it stopped working went thorough reboots/factory restet and clearing data...to no luck.
came back at around 2am but down again all day today. and yup just came back again. no action on my side today.

Wifes Motorola Razr XT-912 running stock Android 4.1.2 has ran Foxfi hotspot (paid version) for 6 months perfectly but when she tried to start it yesterday it wouldn't start and gave her this error code-
Error: Permission Denial: writing com.motorola.android.providers.settings.MotorolaSettingsProvider uri content://com.motorola.android.providers.settings/settings from pid=4071, uid=10142 requires android.permission. WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS,or grantUriPermission()
Anybody have an idea of what went wrong or how to fix this?? We have used Foxfi's troubleshooting tips to no avail and 2 emails to them have gone unanswered. Wife and daughter use the hotspot daily for school and work, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update-
Just deleted all Foxfi and PDAnet from the phone then rebooted and re-installed, no luck....same error message about permissions.
No idea what to do now.
Update....Dropped the phone on the bathroom tile floor last night, no damage, but a few minutes later the wife tried to run Foxfi one last time before bed.....it worked fine.
I have no idea how or why.
Hello, recently I've been having a big problem with my S3 on the latest CM11 Nightly build. Every time I go to check for updates after a few seconds I get a toast notification saying "The update check failed. Please check your internet connection and try again later."
This problem has gone on for a few days now and it's getting quite annoying, the notification comes up when using my 3G and when connected to Wi-Fi.
The weird thing is, I can use my 3G normally browsing Facebook and what not but as soon as I try to check for an update it won't let me.
Any help would be much appreciated, I'd rather not have to factory reset my phone to sort out the process as well
