[Q] Unroot IMG for I777UCKK7 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Anyone know where I can find the IMG for 2.3.4 I777UCKK7 Gingerbread UCKK7? Can't seem to find it anywhere in here, only can find I777UCKK6 Gingerbread UCKH7. I accidentally updated to 2.3.6 and battery life is horrible.Thanks.

Both my post and the one that you said isn't right is what came on your phone the day it launched. If that's not what you are looking for then I don't know what to tell you.

If it's not what you looking for then what you are actually looking for anyway?
Both links provided by Nik0n and Dope are exactly what you asked for.
Note: it is I777UCKH7 (not KK7), which is a firmware built for 2.3.4.

In that case, you had firmware that no one here has ever seen. No one has seen a leak for this device since UCKK6, and you claim to have a newer build?
I find it extremely difficult to believe that your device, and only your device, had some sort of build no one else has seen out of the box.

+1! Pics or it didn't happen

Also you claim to be looking for "2.3.4 UCKK7" - it would not make sense for Samsung to release a 2.3.6 build (UCKK6) and then immediately afterwards release a 2.3.4 build.
I'm 99% certain you misread the H as a second K and are looking for UCKH7 which has been linked to you multiple times.

Thanks for this brother. I will give it a shot right now because I'm a loser and I have nothing else better to do.
I've been running this for two days with Entropy's work on the kernel and the phone.apk
Calling works, just a little muffled sometimes.
I'm downloading right now, although I'm sure it's the same exact thing I've already done w/ the modem n kernel together.
Amazing work!

Spare Eris needed for .35 Kernel development

I'm reposting this for MongooseHelix, but without his knowledge (yet). Re: [ROM] AOSP 4.0.3 ICS | Evervolv | Big Update Coming...tests & info in recent posts:
MongooseHelix said:
I haven't had much time recently and heading out to meet some friends shortly but wanted to give people something to think about. I was considering how I could swing getting an Eris over to riemer in the Netherlands so he could work on the kernel with it in hand. Either finding someone here with an "extra" that they are willing to sell or from somewhere like eBay. I know it would help him a lot to actually have one if he does help us out and he's much more capable than I in terms of quick progress

FYI, There has already been positive progress and a working .35 Kernel along with ICS. I've been using his ROM as my daily for 2-3 weeks now, and using Beta 2 Test 3 (available at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25604607&postcount=328) since it came out and fairly happy and excited about it.
Will this kernel work on other Gingerbread ROMs? For example, CM7.2?

Don't know, but I doubt there would be any harm (disclaimer!) in making a nandroid and trying it. What it takes to do that, though, I don't know without researching. Best to ask MongooseHelix in his ROM thread, though. He may already know the answer.

It should be fine to use outside of ICS but it's not something I've tried. Also, I haven't made a flashable zip for just the kernel yet so it would take some boot.img repacking to try it out with GB.

Conspiracy Theorists : AT&T limits update requests

I tried to check for any updates (ICS? ) and got a reply back saying I could try again in 23H 55m. What does this mean? Anyone???
My guess is ATT is annoyed people keep checking for ICS that they started tracking us. OR it means ICS is coming .......LOL.

Nothing new. Their update method has always only allowed you to check it once per 24 hours. However, there's a way to force it as many times as you want; I forget how (Google it with "XDA" behind your search terms). The question is though, why you would want to update via AT&T. There'd be more than an unlikely chance of getting some mangled BS. I will never understand those who prefer official updates; at most, you should be excited that our guys can get their hands on it, as opposed to installing it.

I've been scratching my head on this all weekend.
King71st, I flashed Liquid JB on it and used Flap's kernel and it didn't work so good yesterday.
All the bricks I've seen is using the wrong rom for the device. There are many variants to most phones and they use a rom for the variant they

No jtag is your only hope.. Sending a brick into Samsung is fraud. You claim all responsibility when you give your phone root access, not to mention installing a 3rd party operating system.
True there are ways to revert everything to stock so that you can return it, but these are for people with legitimate hardware defects not to be abused by someone who can't man up and admit they made a mistake.
Ffs
STOP CONDONING FRAUD ON THIS FORUM!!!
THE REASON COMPANIES WANT TO LOCK DOWN DEVICES AND MAKE US NOT ABLE TO TO MODIFY ANYTHING IS THAT EXACT REASON.
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN MISTAKES AND STOP RUINING IT FOR THE PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!
XDA does not condone Fraud in any way, shape or form. If you broke it and somehow pull the wool over their eyes, don't post it here.
We all take these risks when we flash the ROMs/Kernels/Mods. In doing so, we also should take the responsibilities as well.
I am still trying to figure out why "This weekend" as well as the relevance of this thread.
