I sugest reading the FAQ/Howto guides in this thread before anything else.
Also I dont think there is an ICS rom with arabic, also the ICS roms are all of alpha quality at the moment and shouldn't really be used unless you know what you are doing.

I would stick to GB for every day use, ICS is still a little buggy (although getting better)
Have a look at some of the good custom roms for GB

You can take a look here:

I was thinking about leaving stock installed till there is a "stable" stock ICS (without TouchWiz).
But if you would like a "little" Ice Cream Sandwich touch to you device, take a look here; this is what I´m going to flash:

Click here to download here the I9100XWKG1_XXKG1_OXXKF1 rom (Link removed!)
Its one big tar.. Flash with ODIN as always...
Who should flash? In phone type : *#1234# and check that your CSC is OXX??? at the end.
Have fun
UPDATE: Im not sure you should use this rom... It seemed fine but I think the battery is getting too hot when charging!!
hey mr jkay
What do you think off its stabiliti
will try it out ,then i give feedback on this
Hi,
Do I understand well that this package was created by you? Or is this a STOCK/OFFICIAL Samsung Package release for the Nordic countries?
Thanks
Cant find this on kies. Is this a frankenstein rom?
Yeah It's XWKG1 from samfirmware. But have replaced the cache.img and modem.bin files so its easier to flash. Works great on my SGS2.
Not an official Samsung release .
Its a test release that has been leaked .

Hi
Build number of my SGS2 is "GINGERBREAD.XWKI8" and "Kernel version" is "2.6.35.7-I9100XWKI8-CL616395 [email protected] # 2" and current Android version is 2.3.5.
Is there any option to chnage from GINGERBREAD to ICE CREAM SANDWICH.
Someone please help me.
Root, install cwm, make backup, wipe everything and install one of the ICS roms in the android development section.

root your phone with the according root kernel from Chainfire's thread and then flash via recovery any custom ICS rom that you like from Android Development section.
keep in mind that Ics is still in Beta, so it is kinda buggy, but not a deal breaker.
just make sure before flashing the new rom From CWM to make a nandroid of your existing rom from recovery.

Hey yes there will be/is an official ICS update from Samsung but it has the Touchwiz User Interface so it will look very similiar to the Gingerbread UI.
If you want to have "real" ICS fealing like on the Nexus you have to flash a ICS custom rom from the android development section. But be carefull you can lose your garanty and brick your phone.
No need to think..
It's already out there...
And if it's not officially out there (beeing where you and your phone lives) yet, you can get it here
If it's out there then anyone of you could provide me a link please for INDIAN version of i9100???
yes it is possible as long as you do your wipes

Sure but WHY would you wanna go back to Gingerbread?! You can just root your phone and install CyanogenMod 7.1 or a similar 2.3.4 based ROM although I really can't understand why you'd wanna do that.

You may flash any country's stock ROM. It doesn't matter. However, make sure that the ROM isn't branded. That's all. To get the roms, go to www.sammobile.com, sign up for free, and enter your phone details. Choose any country, e.g. any European unbranded firmware.

I have flashed lots of official roms, but i didn't see any important differences between different countries roms... Just some language features...
I'm persian but i flashed MK6 rom that is for Europe, I've got no problem... I can even type Persian...
For 4.3 rom, you've got just few choices and best of them is MK6... The other 4.3 updates have a lots of bugs but MK6 is almost bug free rom...
