Hello, guys, I have one question concerning this device :
Jabra Street Bluetooth Handsfree
As long as it's written, it supports the Neo. Yet, has somebody owned and tried it out ? Im planning to get one of these but not sure if that's the best choice . Could you recommend me a brad or even a model of a stereo handset with built it mic, controllers and 3.5 mm jack ( actually with the same specifications like this jabra's product) Thanks a lot !!

I have the Plantronics 510 paired with my TyTN and my CU500 at the same time and it works VERY well together and everyone can hear me just fine (except for the windy times). I am on my 3rd BT Headset and and decided to go back to my 510.
I also have a Stero BT Headset that works very well for stereo on both phones (but not at the same time, dangit).
just a thought.
Thanks
Thanks for your concern . really appreciate it.
I know this is a stupid question and I'm pretty sure that the answer would be no.
But, has anyone tried using a Nokia HS-45 headset with the Hero?
It would be sweet if it works.
I was going to get a HTC rc-e100, but i heard it was quite unstable on android phones and the e100 uses usb rather than the 3.5mm socket. So I'm putting my hopes up for the HS-45.
Cheers.
hs-45 headset from Nokia
I have the same problem ..... I want an Android application that will run for hs-45 headset from Nokia and in answer to your question ... no it does not work on Android phones or iPhone. asking the smart guys on the site ........HELP................. an app to read electrical impulses from the audio jack ... and you can choose settings for these pulses (volume, forward / backward, play / pause, etc.) has something to do with multiplex coding, can someone make the Nokia headset to go on android? we all love smartphones and music ... and a headset with that many features would be great
any solution on this problem?
Hi2All!
As subject says,is there (on the market)any solution for Qtek 9090 alternative wired headset,(coz original died)..or stereo bluetooth headset, but in both cases,(beside mp3 listening),microphone must B working..with all call/reply functions..
Cheers!
btw,yes..I do a search, but there is a lot of stuff from few years ago..
hi and welcome to the forum.
in fact, we had a headset and storage card discussion yesterday.
afaik there is no fully working alternative wired handsfree. some nokia headsets also have 2.5mm plugs, but with another connector layout (that's what's to be found in the older threads).
if you don't find a replacement original handsfree you can also use stereo bluetooth handsfrees over the a2dp standard. for that, your rom must support a2dp of course. i use a callstel bh19, which is great. it looks like a normal mono headset (candybar layout, no stupid receivers flapping around or hanging around the neck) and you can plug in a 2nd earphone, which comes with it and provides full bluetooth 2.0 a2dp with edr (much more, than the blueangel is capable of unfortunately). sorry, i can only provide a german link:

and yes, it actually cost 3.90eur once, but now it's back to 30.
alternatively, i hear good things about jabra handsfrees in a certain price range >70eur are really good.

Nevertheless, just asked google translate for help..all stuff is bright
That'll B a high point,for travelers like me.BT headset are like a charm..I like it.Therefore,I must find appropriate cooked(or baked) WM with integrated a2dp support.I hope,thing will work.
10x4support!
I recently bought some skullcandy 50/50 eabuds (free with some store credit) and found out they had an inline mic. Now i realize that they are specifically compatible with the iphone and iOS, but upon plugging them into my Eris (xtrSense 4.6) they are recognized as a headset device. Unfortunately I cannot get them to work as a headset. If i forced myself to switch to a Froyo ROM (I cannot find one I like lol) would there be any difference (better microphone support?) or anyone that has other skullcandy headphones with microphones, do you have any problems? Sorry for the poorly worded question, Im just not sure how to ask this. Thanks, Ryan
I dont know if it should be in General but its a question too mods do move it to right forum if needed.
So here is the thing. I tried to use headset that came with my gf's Xperia X8, immediately it came a message that headset aint supported use another or go to sony mobile's website.
Tried the headset that came with my old Xperia X10.. what do you know... I got the same message... I've MW600 bluetooth headset but skype doesnt working with bluetooth so i just wanted to try with headset.
Now here is the irony part... I tried the headset that came with my Galaxy SII... it worked like a charm. I then tried with one that I bought from china some no brand headset... and it still works... so whats with sony's attitude.... is it coz it was Xperia before they named it just "Sony" ? Is it firmware bug/limitation? or is it just my tablet... the headset are fine it works with both xperias and SG 2. my tab is SGP321.

Since 2012, Sony phones uses a different headphone hack. It is similar to iPhone one, where two pins are inverted. That's the reason.
From Sony's Xperia Tablet Z Troubleshooting Knowledgebase.
"There are different standards for wired portable headsets. Your Xperia™ device supports the newer CTIA standard. Your headset may have a connector type of a different standard, for example OMTP. If your new device came with a headset, try using that. Alternatively, you can buy an adapter to be able to use your headset with your new device."
Amazon.com sells Sony's CTIA to OMTP adapter.
