if u can find the icons somewhere, u can patch them into framework or the mms.apk itself
The stock Smileys are CUTE

Long time ago someone make this keyboard to work on my xperia x10 and I love it and now work on galaxy s2 gingerbread,even got themed one...but doesn't work proper o ICS ...fc when prediction,suggested words are on...I am not developer and cannot fix it but if someone can it will be wonderful!!

can someone modify the ThemeManager.apk from xperia s in order for new apps (from Xperia s that is working neo) to have a color.
found some color themes here: System\vendor\overlay\framework\ <--- xperia s system dump...
You can try GB themes for Neo, they work on ICS too. Just replace DefaultThemes.apk. I'm using Wave from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481769

xperia s have its own process handling default themes...
some xperia s ics app can work on neo, but with boring black back ground...
so in order for these app to have lively color theme
we should found a way to enable this "new process handling theme" by SXS to work on our neo...

I've modded the xperia themed Mms.apk emoticons codes to work properly with the emoticons codes of the Xperia S Keyboard (for example in the original xperia themed Mms.apk there is an ugly ;lt3 in opposite of <3 for the heart emoticon..but there are many other ones differences)..
These differences prevent the messaging app from displaying correctly..so, take this Mms.apk and replace the original one (remember to backup a copy of the original one). Don't forget to set the correct permissions ("rw-r--r--") and correct ownership (both "root").
I've tested it on FXP CM10 201 on my Xperia Mini Pro and is working very well no more ugly characters left behind without an emoticon
Some emoticons of xperia s keyboard were left out because I don't know how to add new codes to the Mms.apk, if someone know how to do that feel free to put that fix..but please share here the correct apk
I actually don't use mms quite a lot now, what i really wish for is an actual port to the xperia s keyboard with the symbols and language button working M66B got it half working but i really hate stock keyboard and prefer xperia s's

You can put the launcher on it to feel like a xperia z. Add the icons and wallpaper and apks and you have a great looking s2.
