Keyboard Dock Swipe Reverse of Screen? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

So has anyone noticed that the swipe action of the keyboard mousepad is reverse of the screen swipes? I got right to left to go right on the screen, but right to left on the mouse....
Anyone know how to reverse this?

What? Is this in an application?
TF201 | XDA Premium

No, but give it a try. I normally put my finger on the screen and move it to the left to make the window swipe to the right.
On the keyboard dock trackpad, I put down both fingers (swipe), but must go from left to right to make it go to the right...
Anyone?

[Q] Touchpad middle button?

Under setting/asus customized settings, you can select funcinons for both the right, and "middle" buttons on the docks toucpad. My dock only seems to have a left and right bottton accomadating the touchpad. There is no middle. Am i missing something? I love having the right button set as back, and if I had a middle button I would set it to menu. Surely, I'm missing somthing obvious right? Thanks....
I don't have my Prime at work here but I think that's if you attach a mouse. Mine has no middle click on the touchpad.

That makes sense. Thank you.

Screen moves the opposite direction

Weird. I think this is on most android tablets not just prime.
EDIT: Thanks for point it out guys! So this is a feature. If you tap on the sides it will scroll towards that direction. So its like a quick tap and scroll without really scrolling. Like what ready2mosh said, paddle shifters lol. Sweet I like this feature.

thats because your tapping the edge of the screen . its not picking up the slide motion
Hi, Whats the Agenda and Calendar widget you are using?
Thanks
There is nothing wrong with this, if you look at the left and right side when you tap or swipe over the screen, there are 2 light blue lines. If you tap in those areas the screen is told to move to that side, and since you are barely swiping across the screen, it cannot register that you are swiping, but only tapping.
Swiping motion is for the middle of the screen, edges are for flip control. Think of it as paddle shifter on F1 cars, much easier to shift (change page) with paddle than a stick(swiping).

Not true. I can replicate this in the app drawer too.
EDIT: NM you guys are right. If I tap on the corner it goes back and forth. Even i the app drawer. Thanks. I love this new quick paddle shifters hidden trick.

[REF] -IN PROGRESS- Things the manual should have told you

Hey all!
The below information is for STOCK devices (or ROM's that are Stock and not using a custom launcher)
This is a Work In Progress, so if you have any tips that you found should have been in a manual, please feel free to post these and I will add them to the OP.
I just got my note yesterday and had to Google to find things that SHOULD have been covered in a manual or quick reference that wasn't.
Please keep in mind that this is my FIRST Samnsung phone (always been an HTC guy) so I am new to Samsung+Android+Touch Wiz and am guessing that I am not the only one.

Screen Capture Without the S Pen (Thanks kimtyson)
You can screen capture without the S Pen by placing your right hand perpendicular to the right side of the screen (in a karate chop position) and sweeping left. If you are left-handed, you can use your left hand in the same manner, sweeping left to right.
Change Brightness (Thanks Boris Sidis)
Long press the notification bar and drag left or right to change brightness.
Reserved...
One more for giggles.
Those are pretty standard among android phones...My addition for the note would be using your palm or side of hand to take a picture.

True to a point. Those that have had Samsung phones and know how to use and navigate Touch Wiz, probably. But I know several folks that jumped ship from HTC to Samsung and we're all new and learning.
Thanks for the input though!
Could you go into more detail as to what you mean by using my Palm or side of my hand to take a pic so I can add it?
Thanks!
I thought this was going to be like the tips and tricks from the International forum but oh man was I wrong...
Atleast someone is getting a start on it right..

I don't know if you realize he was just making a sincere suggestion. If you "karate chop" it you get a screen cap.

Holding down on the notification bar and swiping for brightness will only work if you don't have auto brightness enabled. You can also take a screenshot by pressing Home and Power at the same time. I find that easier than karate chopping my phone.
This is normally presented to people when they set up their phones, but just in case someone skipped it, if you hold down the side button on the S-pen and double tap the screen, it opens up an s-memo over whatever app you're in so you can jot a quick note. There is also an option for this during phone calls.
EDIT: Here's a few other tricks that I haven't tested personally, but have heard from various sources:
1. If you are playing music and place your palm over the display, it quickly mutes the music.
2. While playing a video, tapping the power button will lock the display so it won't respond to touches. Pressing again will disable.
3. If you have motion activation enabled in your settings, when the phone rings you can flip it over to silence the ringtone.
4. Swiping a contact's name to the left in your contact list will quick-create a new message to them. Swiping to the right will call them.
Heres another, if you swype your fist accrpss the screen it takes a screenshot
Edit:nvm

Wish this worked without CheeseWhiz, odd it matters as the notification bar is framework, not launcher, but I couldn't make it work. Then again, I rarely managed to make the same function work in Cyanogen 7 either..
EDIT: Oops, yeah I'm an idiot, I had Automatic on, it works fine regardless of launcher.

Gestures?

Is there a guide to basic gestures on TS2?
I have a lot of troble going BACK - Is it right to left or some type of diagonal gesture? I figured out the bottom left to top right brings up the menu mostly. Anything else?
Also, how the heck do you change the VOLUME of the external speaker?

Thanks. That's what I have been doing but it works like 20% of the time. It seems like going from the right upper corner down to the lower left corner works better, not sure why.
So hw do I get quickly get back to the "Home" screen in the stock Launcher from other pages in the launcher?
Press the Home button, down under the camera ?
If you long press that button it brings up the task list.

I've figured out a swipe to the right from the left bezel activates the menu button if available.

Daniel made a manual which I wish I'd read before trying to figure everything out. You may have to log in to google to load the pdf

Hey now, that's handy to have!
I'd also recommend getting a third party gesture application. I use the paid version of gmd gesture control and have diagonal swipes configured for volume and a few other shortcuts. There is also a recommended free module for xposed framework called all in one gestures.

Question recent app gesture?

I'm just getting started with my new N20 and I'm noticing that it doesn't seem to have an option for the "switch to recent app" gesture that I'm accustomed to on my last two phones.
Does anyone know of a way to enable it? The swipe up and then left or right in the drawer isn't really a good substitute for it.
I made a quick video demonstrating what I'm talking about in case it wasn't clear.

Swipe up from the bottom of screen and hold for a second. Once you see the recent apps, let go and swipe left to right to pick your app.
