Not this time 91.4 MB
Based on cobrato's MIUI
Next version should bring some more SE look.
Lockscreen is almost the same.Only thing missing is sound button but I don't have files for theme so I can't edit it and add it.Transparent status bar is replaced only missing thing is battery icon.

Flashed cobrato's Free Kernel 4.05.4 Cob06

ha, sony ericsson section is back on market ^^ SEMC home is smooth
bugs: can't read text at menus (black letters on black background?), lockscreen slider feels unresponsive, 3d gallery is force closing, choosing a contact shortcut shows the wrong icon, theme manager shows a black screen and force closes randomly.
I just noticed that most of the ROMs / MODs are mostly black / dark based. Is it possible to make a white / light based themes for White Samsung Galaxy S3? Just wondering. Thanks! :fingers-crossed:
One day we hope to have a Themes section .

I think I can help.In order to customize your theme manually you can follow these steps:
1.Download: Desktop Visualizer https://play.google.com/store/apps/...DEsImpwLmNvLmJpaS5hbmRyb2lkLmFwcC5kc2t2enIiXQ..
2.Download: Metrostation Icon Pack https://play.google.com/store/apps/...mpwLnUxYXJ5ei5wcm9kdWN0cy5tZXRyb3N0YXRpb24iXQ..
Open Desktop Visualizer and select the app you wanna change. Then press "select icon" and use Metrostation Icon from the "Others" section. After that, select the icon of your choice and choose its color.(White color is ffffffff).Do this for every app you want and you will have a "theme" with your own custom icons. You can also download an app like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zcnNkZXYud2FsbHBhcGVycyJd and choose the wallpapper that properly fits your icons.
If you dont wanna follow this procedure you can always download a launcher like Nova Launcher, download and install icon packs from the store and apply them from inside your launcher .

I'm not 100% sure and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure super amoled screens and white make your battery drain faster. Not sure where I heard that, which explains so many dark themes. Like I say correct me if I'm wrong.

[Theme/Mod] Black Status Bar/Quick Setting & Lock Icon Removal [SnowJB!] [3/08/2013]
Hey again, I have redone this with the SystemUI for the SnowJB Rom. I didn't even want to install JB until I had the time to do this.
Do a backup first. I make no promises and take no responsibility for your OG's spontaneous combustion resulting from flashing this.
I would suggest wiping cache and maybe even dalvik after flashing.
Reported working on stock AT&T Roms. I can't vouch for this because I have not tried it. Backup if you wish to attempt it.
I also modified the QSlide add on to black it out for those who would want it.
SnowJB Black Status Bar/Quick Settings
V1: Self Explanatory, see screenshot 5. View attachment 1750838
V1.1 Same as V1 with the QSlide bar, see screensot 6. View attachment 1753136
V2: V1 with the clock color changed to stock blue, see screenshot 7. View attachment 1789917
V2.1: V1.1 (QSlide) with the blue clock. View attachment 1789920
Original ICS Post:
Hey guys, I have been playing around in some of the system .apks and making some small edits to them and wanted to share.
I am running The Base Rom and therefor (for now) all of these use Base (7.3) .apks.
I would not install these on any other Rom without a backup and the understanding that I have not tried them myself.
I adapted The Base Rom v.0.7.3 update.zip script (because I have never made an update.zip before), so I would like to thank Nottach for the original script.
If Nottach has a problem with this, please let me know, I will remove it.
I have absolutely NO affiliation with Nottach or The Base development, if you run into any problems Nottach is NOT responsible.
I have heard it works on stock if you delete (or rename) /system/app/SystemUI.odex after you install it (and then reboot again), I can't guarantee it will work correctly, but it is reported to work. As always, backup first.
Also posted working on Nocturnal, again, backup first.
Base 7.3 black status bar mod.zip (V1-3)
I have made the status bar for The Base v.0.7.3 black (and the Quick Settings background in V3).
V1: This is a darker (very dark gray) status bar, but not completely black. (screenshot 1)
V2: V2 is a pure black status bar.
V3: V3 has a pure black status bar and also themes the background for the Quick Settings (screenshot 2).
V4: V4 is V3 with the gray dividers removed from the Quick Settings (screenshot 3).
Base 7.3 lockscreen no icon.zip
I noticed when using the first lockscreen clock (the minimal one) that it added a lock icon in the middle of the lockscreen.
I have removed it and the small animation that goes with it (I have only made the .pngs transparent, they are still technically there).
(See screenshot comparison [pic 4]).

This comes with the normal disclaimer, I have installed these successfully on my phone with no issues, but can not promise a similar result for you.
This replaces system apps from /system/app/, so I strongly recommend either a system backup in recovery or at least making a copy of your version of the edited apps before installation.
Install via recovery.
Thank you for your support, I'm a noob, but really love getting my hands dirty here.

i wouldn't call it imposible. picture this: an app made by you running directly from android. you can select everything as you like and preview as you like. you can even select a custom background of your own (how cool is that), then, after you have selected everything, that app generates the zip, and you flash it.plus, it gets better, the app can have updates with new keyboard styles and everything. ofcorse this would require more programming, but you could eventually even add that app in the playstore and if it gets popular you can have it work for other devices as well.
edit: I would like to set a purple background that would have the purple color, yahoo's purple since I mainly use it for messaging. also a background lightblue skype color would be nice.
edit2: btw I think there's an error on the Auto-Correct selection, the first two options have identical description.
edit3: for anyone that would like a custom wallpaper to the keyboard, I presume you can do that, entering the zip file and photoshoping files found in this folder with the ones you like. TNi605AnyDPISamsungIMEAroma.zip\kbbg\redbullbg\res\

I can add common app colors if you'd like as far as an app. .um mm don't really want to get into that lol. .and there is no typo.. one says with "short press delay" and the other says "stock press delay"
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
you're right, no typo. concerning the colors, no need for extra options for me, I will install photoshop and modify that redbull theme to my liking. again, great job. thanks. but concerning the users that don't want to spend time into photoshop, here's a thing you can do, see if you can do another kind of installer, one that has best combinations, so that no mater what combination of colors you choose, you're always ending with an awesome result. I ended up with really weird results for example when selecting purple twice.
edit: something's missing from the keyboard. I flashed the s4white keyboard before flashing this one and I think this is the reason why transparency doesn't work for the background. when I select the totally transparent background, the result is a black one. even though i checked, the files contained in the transparent nebula theme are indeed transparent. how can I fix this?
edit2: wait, actually it is transparent, just that there are certain apps that place a black background beneath the keyboard
ovidiugr said:

Lol the best combinations. . Everyone likes different things and if, for instance, I put purple background, black text and black keys and someone chooses those options it won't look good.. but if they choose what I laid out for a request.. The purple/silver theme.. it should look pretty good
Yea the background with transparency all relates to certain apps.. so apps that call theme.holo will be transparent but if they call theme.holo.light or an app has a certain custom color it will call those.. There is no way, I think, I would be able to fix this unless you modify all the apps and that is not going to happen:thumbup:

I've wanted to get dark mode on my phone for a long time. The light theme is just not in place with everything else being dark mode on my phone.
I don't feel comfortable rooting my phone as I've just got it and i don't think the loss of Samsung apps, and my Bank application not working just isn't worth the dark theme.
But if there's anything i can do with my phone to get dark mode on Snapchat - that would be great :fingers-crossed:
