Proper remove Twitter apk (/data/app/) and Twitter data (/data/data/com.twitter...) and try to reinstall it from Google Play.

Usually Google Now comes with Google Search doesn't it? Hence I would suggest to update/install Google Search from Play Store.

There is a way to create a fictional device from within Raccoon to download apps that are not available for your country. Search for this option in the XDA thread or ask the developer of Raccoon.
