[Q] Change the boot image? (Not the animation) - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I've been researching ways to change the boot image (one with the NVIDIA logo at the bottom) and I've found numerous methods, but they were all device specific... does anyone know the method for the Prime? I'd like to replace it with the white Google logo like on my Nexus S (already put the stock ICS animation in place of the ASUS logo animation).
Thanks

Not an expert, but I think that requires you to replace the bootloader. I'd love it if there was an easy way to do this though, that EeePad logo is ugly as hell.

It really is, as was the boot animation. I've been going through and making it look as stock ICS as I can (put in the stock system bar icons, removed the pagination icons, etc)... but the boot image is one I'm not really sure how to do.

What really is a splash screen?

I have read much of the splash screen thread, but still have some questions. It seems as though there are a lot of different splash screens based on where in the startup process you are. I have never managed to change the Energy ROM splash screen I once installed, and it shows at the very beginning when I start the machine. This I installed through "Custom_RUU". Recently I installed "silentP Splash Screen" through a cab and that only put a picture up later in the startup screen, but did not change the Energy ROM splash screen in the beginning.
I would like to have the "silentP Splash Screen" as my only splash screen and to have it shown in the very beginning. How can I do this?
'splash.nb' Something you have to flash to your ROM.
there is only one "splash screen" this is the first one you see when u switch ur fone on that says touch pro ... this is stored on the devices ROM so to replace it, a new one has to be flashed, the other 2 the animated HTC one can be easly replaced by replacing the Animated.gif file in the windows directory the same goes for the windows loading screen, just replace welcomehead.192 and to replace the sound just replace BootUpHTC.wav
The very very 1st image has to be burnt into your phone similar to burning a ROM. Except that it only replaces the Splash Screen.
This link has a bunch of prebuilt splash screen to choose from.

I also built like 8 of them one day when I was bored.

Boot up Picture

Hello guys. Sorry about the new thread, I've searched for awhile and found nothing on this topic (perhaps and most likely searched the wrong words). I was wondering how do I change the bootup picture? Initially, it was the at&t logo (which I still don't want). Now its this TPC grayish ROM logo. Is there a way I can change it to a picture of my girlfriend? Just to clarify, I don't want to change the splash picture. I want to be able to change the boot up picture that shows your radio version. Well, take care guys. Thanks.
i would believe that to be the splash screen, search this in the raphael theme and apps section for the "how to"

I think he is talking about the startup picture after the boot animation. If so I believe that is just a wallpaper. Change it in your ROM to whatever picture and it should solve your problem.
The first image is splash then animated then welcomehead.
PatchSplash v0.1 - flash custom splash screen w/o old splash at the bottom!
You have to patch the splash due to there otherwise being a gap @ bottom the link above has all steps.
All this is covered via using the search.
On that note thread close.

Stuck On G1 Screen

I am trying to make some changes to an existing rom. I flashed but it gets stuck on the splash screen. Is there a certain thing that causes this. I have the DangerSpl, and I didnt modify too much of the rom. Anything I can do?
[Nevermind, I figured out the problem...]
What was the problem?
Looks like it was a faulty boot animation

[Q] Boot Animation Issue

Greetings,
I am running an HTC One with CyanogenMod (Android 4.2). I had attempted to create and load a custom boot animation. I was able to pull from the source zip (/system/media), and confirm that I could reload it. I greated jpg's which were the same pixel count as the Cyanogen Animation (I didn't touch the desc.txt at all) and recompressed it (mac user so zip -0r bootanimation.zip). I pushed it back to the same location, and rebooted the phone. I was greeted with the wonderful message saying my bootloader has been tampered with, and then nothing for the rest of the phones boot until the lock screen.
Reloading the original animation zip still works. I have also tried a couple other tested HTC One boot animations, and none have succeeded. I ran the bootanimation command straight from the bin folder, and nothing happens. It just skips to another line, no message, no animation.
I am from the world of windows originally, and am still getting used to the mac/linux structure of things. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am not sure how to troubleshoot this problem further. All googling on the topic has produced solutions for others, but not myself. I understand this is a new piece of hardware, and it just may not be possible yet.
Thank you!

Question Pixel 6 custom boot animation

HI all,
Did anyone figure out a way to apply a customer boot animation since we can't simply go an change the bootanimation.zip file and so far all magisk modules i tried simply don't work.
Unless you have a fairly short animation, by the time it thinks of getting moving you've already booted into the home screen. In the past I created a couple of custom boot animations. I stopped using them when I chose to use rooted stock firmware instead of custom ROMs. As a result I haven't searched for a long time for a replacement boot animation: not that I need to given I still have my boot animations stored on a HDD.
it is a short one well kinda, wanted to put the nokia handshake as the bootanimation for fun but couldn't figure out how to actually do it due to android 13 read only limitations and i think the modules i tried didn't work due to the pixel now having a dynamic animation not quite sure, seems like its not worth it anymore
