[Q] Glow effect for 2.3.4 DDKQ - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Hi! Does anybody know how to make glow effect in DDKQ5 (2.3.4) stock rom? I tried to make it in the UOT kitchen, but I didn't manage it. Everything work (icons, battery), but the glow effect doesen't. Could you help me, guys? A step-by-step guide would be so useful...

Just a simple dark mms apk for those of you who don't like the stock messaging app from the Gingerbread roms. Working on more colors in the future, but my main focus at the moment is the rom I'm working on.
Hope you find it useful!
Thanks works great!!

Did you use the non blurry mms.apk or change the user agent?
EDIT: Nevermind I can look.
EDIT2: Anyone who is curious this does have the fixed user agent so you incoming pics will be clear.

Won't be able to work on this for a while, except in my spare time. Working on changing my Rom from the JVP to the JVQ base. Hopefully I'll have that done pretty soon. And like all the other amazing JVP/JVQ roms I've tested on here, I feel mine is pretty damn quick and stable. So here's hoping I can get it to the stage where I think it will be acceptable for public release (at this point I'm mostly just trying to finish up my theming).
I was able to successful install this on JVQ (revolutionaryJVQ). No problems so far!

use online kitchen:
http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
transparency can be enabled in various percentage, also other stuf like fonts,bootanimations,windows,popups...etc
Or try this way if using wildpuzzle or dk custom, I couldn't figure out how to use the kitchen but this is another way to get it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=912306
This is a theme for wildpuzzle rom which gives you a transparent status bar. I haven't tried the actual aerofire rom but I presume it'll give the same effect as flashing the theme over wildpuzzle.
There's also a theme called glassmod which will work on any sense rom (I think)which gives a transparent bar too.
These themes are only for sense based roms and won't work on cm7 etc.

What's wrong with you? Are you assuming everyone is here at your beck and call? Sorry to say, but no one is.
You were already said what the solution is, and if that doesn't suit you, explain in detail what you want. These 2-3 word "demands" are not going to get you anywhere.

Bounce-back removed in 2.3.5?

Hello,
Does anyone know how I can get the "bounce-back" effect back?
Before when scrolling up or down it would overscroll and bounce back, but having updated to 2.3.5 it's been replaced with a blue fade.
Is there any way I can get it back? I've rooted my S2 and happy with everything else.
Thanks,
Brad.

Thanks skimminstones, I'll try it now.
Na, didn't work. Still uses the blue fade.

Oh.
Hmm, the menu doesn't work either. Makes the browser crash and brings up an error.
I'll restore. Any other ideas?
Thanks!
Have a read of jkays thread.
He has a version you could try.
Also I saw another thread in the dev section where you can get the bounce effect in browser and other apps.
I'll try and find a link.
Edit: here is the link.

Transparent Background Please...

Hi all,
I'd look everywhere but failed in search for HOW TO CHANGE MENU/CALCULATOR/ALARM/PHONEBOOK/MESSAGING/PHONE and anything else that comes with the blue stripes default SE wallpaper to transparent look on stock 2.3.3...
All of the thread that does mentioned, will all come in either custom roms or full mod, means a lot of other things in my phone will most probably change to its flavor, when all I want is a very simple(not sure if it's easy) thing as to just change it's background to transparent and nothing else.
I'd be more than grateful if anyone could lead me to those thread or teach me of how to do that....
Thanks in advance and have a nice day
P/S:If that kind of thread does exist, sorry for posting such silly question and feel free to delete this thread, but I have tried my level best and spend about 4 hours in finding one but no luck...

First make a backup
Then flash this http://db.tt/MgHUdlkF
Then flash bravia engine again
You might lose the circle battery mod
If you do, upload the grey circle battery mod so i can try to mix them

Nope, is in framework and genericuxpres you have to edit the semcbg.png
In the zip i gave you theres a framework and a genericuxp already with a transparent background you can just flash it
But if you prefer to do it yourself just replace the pngs called semcbg.png in the apks

Thanks Negrobembon,
Sorry for late reply,I haven't flash it yet,but before i do that I would want to clarify a few things...
-will it change my current theme?
-Will it change all the other notifications besides battery?
Theme that I'm using right now is this one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1293738
and I'll be more than happy if you could change the background to about 60% transparency...for I'm happy with the rest of it looks...
Thanks again,I really am grateful for all your help.
