Anybody experiencing the browser stalling out upon initial opening of the app, or is it just me?

I sadly do (although I'd rather not) I am having, more than random hiccups, some app crashes when loading pic-heavy pages. not really an actual crash because the browser simply quits without the usual error message
Oooo, mine won't crash out just takes a minute to load then works as it should after that...I do recall that happening on some of the first GB roms though and believe ithad something to do with the ui/ua(?) Strings, maybe read through the earlier DJ Steve/fards threads it's in there somewhere

In app settings, clearing cache and cookies I believe has helped tremendously!!! Funny how you can overlook the simple things, or I rather

whats so different about this than the regular Opera Minis?
ok gave it a try, i gotta admit its extremely fast and smooth UI
One thing i don't like is
if you go to google.com it looks so awkward and low quality?
Also is there a way to make the websites not all be cramped up?
Overall, i think i'll keep this for a while, thanks for sharing.
It seems smooth and fluid... I use this when I pass 10GB and they throttle me but otherwise I prefer the chrome beta atm even tho this browser is a lot more fluid.

Just wondering if its just me, when you open Chrome BETA (cold start, meaning you have not previously opened it and it was not started previously) does it just start go to the regular white screen and stay there for about 10 seconds before loading?
Thats the one thing i hate, if that was fixed, i'd be back on Chrome, I'm on Dolphin HD right now and it opens in less than 2 seconds of my tap.

And the feature that it asks you before exiting the browser if you want to erase history is GENIUS! I forget sometimes you know..

Did you experience an stock browser W/O warning crash?
When sometimes my browser downloads "Too much" data from the page (Not above 50MB though and i'm not talking about file downloads execpt php files of course for the page to render ) it just kills itself and after going back it reloads the page it crashed on and after that there is usually a same crash comes along and after that, i come back to the browser and i ended up on the home page, all tabs wiped out, just like it got force killed.

I tried back to CM9 but still not work. In Browser setting, if i set User Agent to iPhone then ok, but set is Android then very bad.
That's because they changed the basic settings I guess... got the same problem on my gf's phone, and on my ics tablet...

The last two days this has been happening to me also. Very frustrating for sure. I went in to my settings in the app section and cleared cache and data. It appears briefly to have helped.

Yeah has been doing it also I'm stock unrooted so I hope this prompt LG to push JB out this month
That happened to me yesterday and the day before. I use Dolphin browser though. It started happening after I used the fast dormancy toggle .apk. But it's probably just a coincidence.
So I have been having problems with the build in browser. Some times it will just lock up.
I type in an address and hit enter and it will just sit there tying to look the page and never does. If I close out the browser and open it again. I then have to retype the address and then it goes right to it.
Also sometimes it won't let me click anything on the page and I will have to close the browser out and reopen it for it to work. Reloading the page doesn't work.
Gotta close it and reopen it.
Anyone have this problem and fix it?

I've had this problem, but I have no idea how it fixed itself. It hasn't happened to me in awhile, but I went in a couple times and cleared data for the app. Maybe that helped?

I'll give that a try.
That seem to do the trick. I used a bookmark backup and then clear data and restored bookmarks.

Spoke to soon. It's back to it's old ways of locking up.

Try disabling javascript and/or flash. Limits the browsers ability a little but may make it much more stable.
