Is there anyway to make the Qik app from the Streak7 to be able to work on the Streak 5?? I'm currently running the Offical AT&T 2.2

I tried it and noticed the same. Also force closes when clicking video chat.

Use ooVoo. Front cam works for streak. no issues with video chat
If you use market enabler on the market fake tmobile and dl the one from market works good on mine

I get FC's when I try to video chat and when I try to switch it won't switch between camera's
When i downloaded and installed Flash 10.2 it made my phone go a little haywire when it came to playing flash videos... So i had to use Titanium backup to restore 10.1.

Since Adobe is a free download i thought i'd throw this out there for people with the same problem. If you feel this should be removed feel free to.

I also had this problem when loading 10.2 from the market, but I remembered a thread here with a leaked version from a couple weeks ago that included a hulu version, so I unistalled 10.2 and then installed the 10.2 hulu from here and now everything is great, 10.2 plays so nicely now so I suggest giving it a try, I'm running CM7 RC2 heres the forum link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991694

Maybe you didnt read my post but it works fine on my glacier running cm7 rc2, even hulu using dolphin hd, but I guess if you're on a different rom you wouldnt know that? what works for some may not work for others and vice versa but for me using the hulu version of 10.2 here It works great, but then again i dont watch many youtube videos just Hulu and some other stream sites like jtv etc

I was on CM7 RC2 before i switched roms and i would get no sound with the hulu version and with the official 10.2 it would look messed up but with this rom the official works great and the hulu version still no sound :/.

maybe you didnt read my signature but it does not works fine on my glacier running cm7 rc2. The Flash 10.2 from the market would either play sound with a garbled video or the video would be smooth with no sound. I flashed back to 10.1 and it works flawlessly. That is why this thread is here for people to revert back to 10.1 if they want to. Not everyone (my self included) wants to run 1/2 baked custom .apks on their phones.
Thanks, just what I was looking for, flash update seemed to break most flash playback
i find alot of time when video doesnt work right if i change the resolution to 240 it plays perfect... thinking it has to do with my browser set to pc mode which puts resolution at 3xx. havent tested this but just a thought.
Works on CM7.1.0-Desire HD ROM ...
... on my HTC Inspire 4G when no version or hack of 10.2, or any version above that, would work.

this is useful due to the fact miui has issues with 10.3 and 11
netflix just release the app for g2 ' nexus one and s. does it work with our vibrants?
If you check the vibrant general section you'll see a Netflix thread where it does not work. It doesn't work with any of the galaxy s devices (from what I'm hearing) .

It does work if your on a 2.3.3 rom. Check the i9000 forum and you can download the apk there. I'm running Simply Galaxy 2.3.3 with flash 10.3 and it works perfect

Skype works wonderfully and both cans too. Search a little in XDA and you will find the apk.

And upgrading to the latest custom ROM (Ginger-based) available on this forum, the front cam can be used without any problem at all on the streak5.

I didnt try on 2.4, but i did on MaxicetDroid 1.0. and works perfectly (except zoom) and MaxicetDroid 1.0 is nice and stable room.
I just flashed MaxicetDroid 1.0. Still no luck getting the either camera's working. I've tried the following Skype APK's.
skype_2.5.0.108.v12.apk
skype.raider2.1.2.apk
I can see the remote video however all they see is blank. Another thing I noticed was that it would crash my Camera App. Only a reboot gets the camera working again.
Some of the hacked skype versions have tweak settings which I've tried several combinations without any success. It says it cannot detect the front facing camera.
Really stumped on this one. Thanks for answering.

I installed Skype straight from the Market on Gingerstreak 2.4 and when I tried a test videocall to Echo123 the front camera displayed fine, no problems!
Not tested in an actual videocall to any contacts because I rarely use Skype, was merely curious to try it out
I did a full factory reset and still couldn't get the front camera working in the camera app. Its not skype rather a defective front camera.

Any one have the link to it I had it once but had to delete it for some reason. It looks just like the regular YouTube just that you can save the video from the more section thanks

It sucks but anyway I found the one I was looking for. I still had the apk. Plus its the youtube app just with a download option much better than tubemate. Its not the updated YouTube app so ill have to find the dev.. if I do ill tell you
