Any idea if Voodoo Control will work in this new generation of TF? I had it for the original and it was great....
I sent an email to the developer, never heard back. Guessed no one else knows either?

Saw this over on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 forums since I got my wife one for Christmas. Wondering if we could adapt this to let us charge faster while plugged in a USB?

Already wrote something similar into the kernel I'm working on. You'll be able to toggle it via incredicontrol.
Sweet!

Any chance of having this in app form?
I have the headphone interference and don't want to void my warranty just yet, unless your kernel will fix that as well? (HTC is saying it's a software issue)
Yikes! Just got my brand New Galaxy Tab last Tuesday and now I've been informed that there is a Note 10.1 around the corner.
The "only" difference I've seen so far is that it will pack a 1.4 processor, stock ICS, and external sd card slot.
Since I got this one in Costco is returnable. However, I think the Note will start @ $500 (maybe more...)
I dunno... You guys think is worth the wait?
It's just that I have a SGS2 and is sooo much faster than this Tab. Will flashing a custom ROM to this tab make a difference in speed?
Thank you for taking my question.

I can only say I'm running my 10.1 @ 1.4 and haven't had any issues not caused by myself.

You missed the whole point huh, the pressure sensitive stylus?
Value is a subjective thing though, only you know what you need out of the device. Going with the note will surely mean a longer wait for development of custom ROMs. If the added features make up for that as well as the delay between launch and shipment then go for it.
Me personally i find the idea of the stylus intriguing but then the ram limitation (the 1gb of ram, not sure if this is an Android system restriction at this time but I'm guessing so) is cause for pause for me. We all look at lag critically and i always wonder how additional system ram would improve that. If increasing it on a standard PC improves performance to a degree then surely on a tablet it would as well. Of course that would add additional cost but I'm sure many would spring for premium models with more memory. I bring up this issue because of Samsung partnering with adobe on the inclusion of Photoshop touch with the note. Moving towards marketing tablets for graphic production using the stylus needs to come along with the ability to do it well without the lag and unresponsiveness shown in the demos. Surely there are driver optimizations that can help yes but anyone who uses Photoshop regularly to do production knows that ram is hugely important.
Baby steps though, the note is certainly a welcome addition to the tablet arena. If an LTE one comes out in the next year is certainly consider it.

What did you oc'd with? I have setcpu and it will only go up to 1.0.

Need to flash Pershoots latest kernel. His droid basement blog would probably be the easiest to find since I don't have a link to his thread here handy.
I'm using setcpu also and had the 1000 limit. Flashing his kernel gave me the1400 option with no other changes needed.

Return it and keep saving to get the galaxy note 10.1. I read a couple weeks back they were holding of release til june to switch out the dual core processor for a quad core processor. I think it would be worth returning any tablet to get the galaxy note 10.1 if this rumor is true.

If this rumor is true I will crap my pants
id wait if i was in your position.. really. return that **** and use your desktop or laptop till it comes out, i wish i would have.
It has been upgraded to quad core 1.2 ghz so return your tab and get the note 10.1

Google may also be releasing a Nexus tablet next month - in the lower price-point range as well. Hold off for now.
So this guy i work with tells me he was talking to 2 guys who work down the street at CDW. Apparently they both had Notes. But, they somehow managed to be running Honeycomb on them. Possible? Now this guy I work with knows cell phones pretty good so I have no reason to doubt him but I figured I'd ask anyway.

are you cool with them.check the firmware and see if its really honeycomb or what version. or maybe there just using a ported rom or a honeycomb theme?.....I'm curious now..

On our international notes we can run ICS in tablet mode complete with the bottom task bar and soft buttons which is probably what you saw

I was told it was 3.3.6 firmware. Does that make sense?

No sir. Honeycomb only came in 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.1 and 3.2 I believe.
3.2.6 was released last month - for a Xoom connectivity issue.

Even still, no one has it running on the Note.
I am currently running Androwook 4.1.1 rom and I am very pleased with everything about it. I do have one question that someone who has owned a prime longer than me maybe able to help me with - is there any volume boost mods or booster apps that work. I know on my galaxy s3 the dev created a baked in volume boost mod and it really makes a huge difference without blowing the speaker. With only the one speaker on the prime a little boost would really help. I used to use Volume+ app, but after ics was released it never really worked correctly and I have yet to find another app that works.
Thanks for any input.

How do you get it to work with 4.1.1?
Sent from my AT100 using xda premium
I personally use AC!D Sound Mod (it's not an app but it really helps a lot with loudness and sound quality) found here:

This really makes a HUGE difference with headphones too

I've used it since I got my tablet and never had any issues. Ran on stock and now on HB 2.11. Wish I had more info for you.
Tm did you try acid like Mc Jesus suggested? I tried using it on another 4.1.1 but could not get it to work, the dev page is written in Ebonics, really stupid in other words.

I just purchased an Alpine deck and cannot find any info knife the mirrorlink even works for the One. Contacted HTC support and they are no help. Anyone?

Guess I need to add more info.....trying to find out if anyone has been able to get the HTC One to work via mirrorlink. Car stereos lime Jvc Alpine and Kenwood us mirrorlink to attach a smart phone to it which allows things like Google map to be used thru it. Only device I have found that works with them is the Sammy SG3. Hope someone could add to the conversation.

I don't think there's a fix yet. I know it sucks but can't do anything about it and I'm not planning on going back to touch wiz. I like my sense
