Why don't you delete the tweeker APN's and then restore the defaults? AFIK, all the roms have a list of known working APN for most carriers, ATT being one of them.

On that apn settings menu, just press the menu button and click reset apn settings. Worked perfectly for me when I had data issues.

I already tried reflashing roms and kernels. No luck.
Waddle: I've tried this. reset apn settings button is greyed out. That "Tweakker" program screwed this up! No luck. Thank You, though
Tedkunich: That's why I requested the apn values. I deleted the Tweakker values (which were left behind when uninstalling) Thank You.
I found some apn settings online, but they are outdated. I'm gonna borrow my son's phone to get the values since no one posted them. I get home from being out of town on business tomorrow night. (He has the same phone)

Okay, so i have seen a post claiming to fix the APN settings, however this is the only true one i have found (credits to shoman for these, i picked them out of his rom!).
it is pretty self explanatory, any field that requires you to put something in it has something in it, otherwise it has a -. underlined means that it is a new apn (settings->more->mobile networks->access point names->"menu" button->new apn)
MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THEM!!

Yea, Gingerbread must be different. That's ok because what ever APN settings Ryude is using in UnOriginal works just fine. Though coming from an iPhone 4s, data speeds on the GSII are faster when your closer to the tower. I was able to get faster speeds with 2-3 bars on the 4s. Oh well. Uploads speeds don't seem as great on the GSII. With the 4s I could get 7 down and 4 up. See my attachment for GSII results.

http://ntrg.cs.tcd.ie/undergrad/4ba2.01/group1/hdr.html
xBudahx is correct, it's a high data rate version of CDMA. Probably set to CDMA HDR for better backwards compatibility and/or roaming.
Not quite sure, but if anyone could come up w/ some more documentation on this I would love to see it =)
Oh and anyone on a Verizon PRL, please try this!

LTEvo yea!
I see it running in the background, how do you get to it's settings?
y u no tell us how to change setting
You need your MSL number then in the dialer you type ##3282# and edit the setting in there somewhere. I haven't done it but messed around in there on my EVO Shift.
These changes always seem to get answers all over the board as to whether they help or not so I don't mess with it anymore.
I know the RSTP or HTTP proxy is a setting people like to change as well. It is set to some Sprint address right now but people change one of them to 0.0.0.0 and it supposedly speeds something up. I am sure we'll see a thread on it eventually.
You can get your MSL by calling sprint or downloading the app MSL Reader from the market. It works on the EVO LTE if you're rooted, I just tried it for the hell of it.
found it...
sort of its under the EVDO settings then preferred mode and you can change it there but I am not seeing the HDD option as stated in the OP only HDR. I am going to give it a try.
when i go to edit the stuff it asks for a password. what is it?
I'll give it the ol' college try when I get mine tonight. It's minute away from being delivered.

Not exactly, because there are multiple modes in the EPST. There is a CDMA HDR mode and just a purely HDR mode (sorry about the spelling mistake, was on break at work when I posted -___-)
I'm not sure what it does, lol but I saw the same results at another poster's data speed change, high download, less ping and lower upload?

Check the apn, data will work with the right data settings, but if the MMSC is incorrect, mms won't.
Also some carriers require additional proxies, etc.

It's automatically includes because tbaytel bought rogers out in the 807 NPA but really its just rogers with added cdma and lte, and a different name, better prices, etc. (five gigs of data, yay)

After searching for many days, I was unable to find a real fix for my MMS issues when using any Global based ROM. Everything else worked perfectly, except for MMS. I cound not send or receive. This is how I was able to resolve the issue:
The first thing to do is delete any APN's that are currently listed.
Next add the APN for T-Mobile data:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then add the MMS APN:
Your list of APN's should look like this:
After creating the APN's, you'll need to install the JB AOSP messaging app from here:
http://concentriclivers.com/android/Messaging-4.0.3-8.apk
This is a previous version of Tim Hutt's Android 4.1 JB Messaging SMS found in the Play Store. (In the current version, MMS is broken)
The next steps requires the Pro version of Titanium Backup. In TB Pro, freeze the stock messaging app:
The next step is optional, but will allow the JB messaging app to remain installed after a data reset. In TB Pro, convert the new messaging app to a System App:
After you convert it to a System App, you should no longer see the option to uninstall under "App Info". The uninstall option should be replaced by "Disable":
The only thing to do now, is test it out by sending an MMS message. This may work with other messaging apps (e.g., Go SMS) however I did not test any others besides the AOSP app. This fixed my MMS issue. I hope it help those who are having the same problem. Good luck! :good:
I'll give this a try! Been banging my head against mms for a week or two now..
Is removing all the APNs a required step? For example, if the rom I choose already has tmobile Internet and tmobile mms listed like your screenshot?
Good find, hope it works for me!

You should be OK if you already have the two APN's listed. Just make sure they have the same settings as the ones posted above.

While Verizon may say it is factory unlocked, it isn't. Look up a tutorial on how to unlock the gsm antenna. That'll do the trick. While you're at it. Install a custom rom, too.
This isn't an easy process by any means. So prepare for frustration. If modifying your phone isn't something you are comfortable with or you just don't have the time. I would suggest finding a member who is reputable on here to remote flash it for you. ( Be nice and tip well) or just sell the Rezound and by something new.
