Ok. First let me say that I am SOOOOOO grateful to all of you that work so hard on custom roms.
Now - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WILL SOMEONE PLEASE ADDRESS THE BLUETOOTH ISSUE WITH SENSE BASED ROMS!!! I just want to play n64 games using hdmi out and sixaxis controller (which currently does not work with stock sense, yet works great with cm7).
PLEASE! I AM BEGGING YOU! I CARE ABOUT LITTLE IN THIS WORLD, BUT I CARE VERY MUCH ABOUT THIS.
LOL Hope you at least got a good laugh out of this, but email me if you know of a solution.
Thanks!

I don't know if it's a six axis controller, not really into gaming. But there is a blue tooth controller sold by game stop that works perfect on sense from what I was told. A guy posted it in the accessories forum, I found it on their site and linked it in my post. I was interested in trying it out just to see how it works, haven't bought it though.

ok i was just looking around and found this in the regular galaxy dev section and found that this works for our phones too wich makes me really happy and it also gives you plenty of extras along with it and i think i saw the droid x's keyboard on there somewhere too..
here you go guys works flawless for me!!! http://www.hallerud.se/htc_ime_jonasl_hires_27.zip
another mirror for this great app. http://www.mediafire.com/?8b2d08rxwmkaqgf
heres a really nice cyanogenmod themed keyboard just install like the other. http://www.mediafire.com/?9vlz87106kg2mzx
and for those that dont know how to install this here are your instructions!!
1) download files (of course...)
2) unzip files to where ever you want
3) place files on your phone or use adb install to install them.
4) once files are on the phone use a file manager of choice and just install them as you would anything else.
the clicker.apk is for the calibration of the keyboard, but i see no difference in doing it but you can do as you wish its your phone.
and there is no possible way to brick your phone from installing such a simple app but if you manage to do so its your fault, but i will help you out as best as i can to fix it!
i did not make this keyboard or the theme the theme was made by gimpsta and the keyboard itself was made by Jonasl i am looking to find a good samsung or vibrant image to use as a spacebar pic so any suggestions would be great
more info on this keyboard and a easy way to theme it to your liking here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=654179
if you theme use 27 high NOT 27 HIGH FROYO it wont work.
Forget that KB! The best one is the ported Droid Multitouch keyboard with voice to text. It's better than Swype, Swiftkey, HTC IME, etc...
Superfast.

I love it, but sadly it doesn't work properly on this phone.Labels on the keys are tiny! Can't even see anything.
lets all chill
Its my first time posting here on XDA. I have been a Lurker for about 2 years and have become a mid level user. I have followed multiple forums (nexus, mytouch, hero, etc) my question is why is everyone becoming so negative and brash with each other. This used to be a place where people who were tech savvy and wanted to make their phones work better for themselves would come to ask questions and receive answers from people who may have known a bit more than them. Lets all just try and help each other out.
OK... all ranting aside I say this keyboard is great. BUT... we do need to figure out how to make the letters bigger but the overall performance of the keyboard is good.
Oh... and BTW I realize this is in the wrong section but it needed to be said and everyone harping on the beginners for posting in the wrong sections was starting to bug me. To all of those who are mature enough to politely answer them and let them know the correct sections for next time... thank you. So to reiterate my relavant question. Is there a way to make the letters on this keyboard bigger?
Yes, back on topic, sorta, I would love for someone to figure out a way to get the Droid X's keyboard working correctly. It's a great keyboard but its unusable right now on the Galaxy as the key labels are too small. Wonder if it's a font issue?

Trying to be as mature as possible- this would do much better as a new thread, requesting someone develop it... I wish I knew enough in the coding world to help...
Essentially, can we get some new keyboards for this phone??? That and CM5/6 seem to be the front runner requests
On a Vibrant, using this app-thingy
its working guys enjoy

It has to do with the rom that's on our phone, on nexus one letters are bigger and look great.
Do I need to root my phone to install this? How do you install it? Copy to sd and run it from there? Once installed, can I uninstall it if I dont like it? Thanks!
Never mind found it
Danr like I was saying... He looked and found exactly what he was looking for... A simple search goes a long way...

Thanks skater4690.
I was using the 1.6 but it was buggy.
Can anybody tell me the difference between this keyboard and SwYpe other than it's supposidly faster and better?
I just rode on the bus and train this morning using my thumb and swype. Had a great time using Swype. Does this keyboard have a feature-set similar to this?
If not, i'm not that interested.
And on a side note, I think the ****-swinging here also has to stop.
We're all here in it to crush Apple and their Steve Jobs ****-sucking audience.
Peace.

From what I've seen Galaxy S is th only phone with Bluetooth 3.0..
I'm just curious as to what this will bring to the table that other phones will not be able to...
I hope there are some nifty bluetooth gadgets in production for our vibrant!
faster data transfer through bluetooth.
You will be prevented from using the Ryan Frawley's Wiimote App! Congratulations on your bluetooth 3.0 phone!
(And to provide at least some helpful information, he has not responded to any questions about the galaxy s line, our future froyo update may fix this for us).
@PathogenX, Yes I knew that...
@SquareBare yes i'm also aware of that.. i'll just have to wait... i'm liking the multi touch control... which works perfectly so i don't mind waiting til froyo to see what happends ...
i guess i was looking to see if this will mean video streaming or something... i think i saw an article like that b4.. but can't remember
anyways Thank you both for ur fast replies ...!!
The SGS family is the only smartphones in the world (if i'm not mistaken) to have BT 3.0. Okay, the Samsung Wave had it first.

Well, more of the blame lies on samsung than Mr. Frawley.
I read somewhere on these forums that Samsung implemented the bluetooth standard in a somewhat bizarre way. Kind of like how you have to swap wires around when you are connecting the video cable to your TV.
From what I see though, Samsung has acknowledged the issue and will correct it with the upcoming froyo update.

Samsung gets the blame for using the latest technology? How does that work?
I read in a press release from January of last year that the two main features of 3.0 is faster transfer and better battery life. In addition there is suppose to be some security enhancements.
It uses 802.11 to transfer the files like wifi does to transfer files to and from you phone.
http://www.gsmarena.com/bluetooth_30_specs_revealed_goes_up_to_11_thanks_to_80211-news-885.php
This isn't the article that I found before but this is one from the source.
http://www.bluetooth.com/English/Press/Pages/PressReleasesDetail.aspx?ID=16
The article I seen explained the bt/wifi thing better and said that bt 4.0 should be out by the end of this year.
Hey guys, I don't have a TF201 or any ICS device yet, so I'm asking the lucky guys that do have ICS on their devices Is Komik Reader (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.komik.free) working properly on ICS? And if nobody has tested this, could anyone be bothered to give it a try and let me know?
This is by far the best Comics reader I have found for Honeycomb, but the developer seems to have stopped supporting it for a while now, so if it doesn't work on ICS, I will have to find a new one that does. Thanks a lot
Nobody has any clue if it works or not?
Yes I can confirm it works
Using it myself and haven't found any problems so far.
Yup, its working here too. Reading manga like a BOSS.
Does bluezime + phonejoy work on the SGS2 for the gaming (nesoid etc) emulators?
I'm not looking to root my phone since I'm an idiot when it comes to that stuff and need more time to do research on it.
I searched the forum and found one thread that talked about using a 6-axis controller since samsungs bluetooth drivers have problems with wiimote. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331926&highlight=phonejoy&page=4 . It didn't really talk too much about the phonejoy working with bluez ime which is why I made the thread
Thanks for your help I really appreciate it
You should have posted this in that thread as it would have a better chance at getting answered.
Anyone have a phonejoy + bluez ime that works with gaming emulators on their AT&T Galaxy S II?
P.S. thanks mod for moving this back to the AT&T Galaxy S II section

Since that thread was talking about a different subject (six axis controller) I'd rather not. I don't like it when people ask random questions that derail my thread off its subject.

Hey, yeah Phonejoy and Bluez-IME actually works with stock SGS-II. I am using that combo myself and have no troubles with it. It is all explained on the website (http://www.phonejoy.us/support).
Hi, I have CM 10 alpha2 on my droid x2 with of course Jellybean 4.1.1. I purchased NBA 2k13 from the Playstore and have installed like 3 times now with no good results. It starts and goes to the nba logos of all teams, then goes back to where you pick the apps to use on my device!! I'm sure there is a way one way or another or a work around or something I can do, but until I hear of something positively likely to work, I'll just keep researching. I know this is the best place to post this and I absolutely love the game on my Xbox360, so this would be a real treat for me! I hope this totally awesome place can help me in time to work this out please and I'm willing to put in the time and work to do it! You can leave me personal message too, that's cool. Or add to this thread but I'm sure that I am not the ONLY one who is interested in getting NBA 2k13 on their Droid x2 !!
Thanks in advance to all those good folks out there for reading this and putting in time to help me out and all of us who are in my position!!
James
