Woke up this morning and I was prompted with the ICS Update =) Finally!

..still no sign of it on Asus DE hjemmeside.
I regret that I bought this on Amazon DE... I did not expect that it was "German" but international version :-(

It is an OTA update, popped up on mine 64G from amazon and installed without problems.
Version:
IML74K.DE_epad-9.4.2.11-20120117
GPS:
6.9.13
Bluetooth:
9.23
Camera:
TF201-0x9900
Kernel:
2.6.39.4 (Why aren't they using 3.xx ? )

Update File Download
Here is the Update file directly from the cache folder:
http://db.tt/yAFWWwuk
Place it in your cache folder and the update should be recognized.
If you don't have root access yet, try to rename it to DE_epad-9.4.2.11-20120117.zip and copy it to the root directory of a microSD-card. This may also trigger the update (untested).
Good luck!
Experience on my ICS-Prime: So far very good, but haven't got much time to do the testing yet. It's smooth and fast.

Rooted == Titanum Backup, so install that and then can restore apps etc piece of piss
Not too sure as it is worth it. I know that the ITaly 3G has had a R2 and know a R2A, but this is for the 3G more than anything.
TBH I have updated R1A on NZ tab and I can't see a difference.
Since you have root you could allways change back, simple as.

Marshmallow beta 6.0

Has anyone cancelled there beta version in the programme like i did and then decided to leave marshmallow on instead of going back to 5.1? If so does this mean that i wont get 6.01 update? Been trying for a while now but to no avail

I'm not sure what it is you're asking but I'll give you my experience.
I signed up for the Beta, got it, installed it, and have been running it since. At some point during this time I connected the phone to Smart Switch (Samsung app in my computer) and it asked me to update the software. Not realizing this was a 5.1.1 update, and thinking this was an update related to the 6.0 beta, I said yes. It was indeed 5.1.1 which wiped my phone and restored it to factory. I did a manual OTA check and the 6.0 beta was available to be downloaded, since I was still in the program. I downloaded it and installed it. Today I got the 6.0.1 update and installed it without issues.
Point being, you can go back to 5.1.1 any time, just install Smart Switch and connect your phone. And it seems you can continue on to 6.0 by searching for an OTA update.
I think he means will he still get the update even though he cancelled it, meaning hes not registered in the beta anymore, but he kept marshmallow on instead of downgrading back to 5.1. Can you not try reregistering with the beta. I dunno.

German A510f VD2 - we got the MM update aboout 2 months ago ... strange. I experience a really unpleasant over-night battery drain, so maybe they're just trying to improve it?
But it's branded with Vodafone. Must install with Odin and lose warranty.
I got an unbranded A510f.
Will wait for a while

Have they actually officially fixed the android 6 leak issue for SAMSUNG firmwares specifically? That might be why the big delays.
Still nothing for A3 unbranded in UK (BTU).

Did you unlock your bootloader?
I see my mistake. This update is for the smaller deluxe. 5.5 move is 5.7 and update isn't out yet.
Does anyone knows when Asus will release this update to the 5.7 models (snapdragon 820 and 821)???

Yeah. From what I researched, it would take a week for all zenfone 3 deluxes to be updated. Waiting here until 03/08/17

He's right...
I don't understand why they made so many different models (3 different CPU's, depending on the CPU 2 sizes of RAM)... I wonder how many people bought a 550 while they actually wanted the 570, it can be pretty confusing for not too technical people I guess...
Asus released the Nougat for two more models today.
ZE520KL and ZE552KL.

this site has downloads for three .zip files, which installs the firmware one down from that one (cant remember the code) im new to this world of rooting and flashing roms, but it was pretty easy. i downloaded those three files and used HWOTA to do the whole process by putting all 3 into the updates folder. after all that i turned on and went to the update section in settings and it offered me an update for VTR-L09C432B171. which i am currently on now - and i literally did this 10 mins ago, right before i came across this post :victory:
forgive the gaps in the url i cant post it normally since i am new
