I'm on Xperia X10 Mini (not Pro), with nAa-08 kernel & MiniCM7
I wanna know if there's the possibility to use LED camera flash light like on stock ROM; i mean, when you shoot photos you can choose from automatic flash or no flash BUT no possibility to set always on.
Moreover, when you're making a video, if you selected automatic flash mode and start recording, LED camera flash light turns on BUT immediately turns off, so your video have no light.
Bug or normal working?
I hope you understand me, english language is not so simple for me

Nope. Will not work. The inbuilt camera would need to communicate to the flash some way without lag. Not gonna happen. My suggestions is to have one of those very bright pocket LED torches (Search for high power cree led torch) on hand instead.
how can I get the Led flash working as auto flash for the camera and the video , I mean in the dark it automatically flashes when you take pics or record videos

If you use the vignette camera app it auto flashes, but it's kinda pointless honestly. The led flash isn't bright enough to .

Auto flash is not yet properly implemented its Android limitation. And Vignette one is also useless as its not making any difference. Only way is to switch on photo light before taking pic
Is ther anyway to turn the flashlight off on the stock SE camera? i turn it off in the settings but whenever I record video it always comes on...
that's not the flashlight, thats the recorded advice (is low light, not so bright like the flash) i don't know but i think you cannot disable it at least not in a simple way...it's like the red record light in video cameras.
yeah i noticed that it's not as bright as when I turn flash on... but yeah I need to turn that off i wanna be able to record video without my daughter noticing because as soon as she sees that light come on she stops doing whatever she's doing... so anoying!
In the speedrom theres a flashlight tweak that we can use in back ground but since I have an other phone I didnt find an app or tweak like that. All the app on the market makes the led go off when we exit the app. I need this tweak because the camera on my new phone (Atrix HD) is very poor but when the light is open its okay.
have you tried? tiny flash light its a free flashlight app that runs in the background, since that seems to be your issue...

since your camera needs the led for taking pictures.. you obviously cant use the camera while another application is using the led.. just close the flashlight and open the camera.. besides your camera should have auto or flash features.. so there's no need to have the flashlight on while taking pictures
but in speedrom i can use the camera when the flashlight is on (status bar tweak) and yes my new phones do bad picture whit is flash it's need to be full of light because it's not doing a good focus tho
i'm not sure about that.. but on my phone if the led is on... i cannot access the camera... maybe because the sense camera is different from the aosp camera... that could be the issue...but its not a big deal.. like i said before.. most people don't use the led while having the camera on.. xD
Hello from Indonesia. I'm user of Xperia X single SIM which use the newest version of Poison ROM based Nougat 7.1.1. The red light OFF when I locked this phone, and when I unlock this phone using fingerprint or press power button, suddenly the red light ON. I have the adaptive brightness screen turned off before. Anyone can fix this problem? Thank you so much for your help. Sorry for my bad English.
Turn off the auto brightness option
Turning off adaptive brightness is not working and it looks more like a feature than bug. (Proximity sensor gets active on lock screen or after data/wifi use to detect if flip cover is covering the screen or not?)
