Hi everyone.
After doing some searching I couldn't find a solution to this. But basically my problem is that one of my ears is a bit worse than the other one and for me to perceive the volume of each ear to be equal I need to adjust the audio balance.
Would it be possible to change this through configuration changes?
And if not are there any Apps with a balance system built in?
Thanks very much =)
i think, IIRC, poweramp allows it. I haven't used it in a couple months, but i think there's a balance dial on it. as to whether it's system wide or just app wide, i don't know.

Hello all!
I know that there a lot off apps in the market that let you change the volume of your device automatically depending on the time of the day. The one I´m using now is Sound Manager and it does an excellent job.
However I´m looking for an app that does justa little bit more. The app should have the functionality explained above, but should also automatically change the volume of your device depending on the screen state. If my screen is on, I probably have the device in my hand and the volume should be really low. If the screen is off, I probably have it in my pocket or laying around somewhere in the house, so the volume should be a bit louder in that case.
However when I´m at my work I always have my phone on my desk, so the volume should be low at that time, even if the screen is off (apps lijke sound manager have this feature)
Does anyone know if such an app exists? And if not, is anyone willing to try and make one?
Tasker or AutomateIt, search for them on the market, very powerfull apps I'm sure they can do what you are looking for.

Even though AutomateIt is an awesome app, it can´t do what I want. I haven´t tried tasket yet because you have to buy it and I don´t have a creditcard.
I used to use s.e. W810, recently switched to xperia mini. Everything is pretty nice but the vibration level. It's barely sensible. When I have my phone in my jean pocket switched to silent mode, I feel nothing and when I check it to see whether there is any notification, usually I got ,say, 3 messages and 2 missing call
So, it's obvious that I don't feel the vibration. Searched a little about it, but neither could find anyone suffers from that problem like I do nor a solution to increase vibration level. However thought that maybe by reaching the phone's system files that can be feasible. So, is it possible to do that, if so, how ?
Thanks in advance.
I've not had a problem with it, but there are also apps to allow you to make your own vibration patterns. So maybe something with a bit more stop/start would help?

Thanks for your suggestion but the problem is not the pattern but the level of the vibration definitely. I compared it with other phones and it's really not that high like old phones.
Go sms pro can help you define how many miliseconds the vibration for a notification for a new text should last. haven't used any app which can do the same for incoming calls, but it should exist somewhere in the market!
Actually what I'm looking for is to be able to increase the power of the motor inside the phone which creates those vibrations. This is adjustable for sure, cause for instance as typing it vibrates very slowly. So, by playing with codes they can be achieved, at least as theoretically
Ok,
Im aware that the keyboard "clicks" and "pops" can be turned off completely in WP7 but im wondering if there is any way to adjust keyboard volume INDEPENDENTLY of the phones volume? I like my ringer on FULL but not my keyboard...
Is it a possibility that the keyboard sounds are located somewhere within the phones file-system and can be manipulated (as SMS Alert tones can [/windows/Alert-01.wma etc.])
If anyone can advise from previous experience or other knowledge, I would be grateful, and hope to eventually develop some Homebrew to help easily adjust the annoying keyboard volumes (although it might take me AGES cos im relatively new to WP7).
Thanks in advance...
I know many of you've experienced bad audio on Xperia Z5 Compact, as there's quite a lot of white noise when watching videos and on some music apps.
But I found a way to fix that problem . You do have to pay a few dollars for the app FauxSound if u want it to work though, and it's not 100% perfect, but makes the white noise inaudible in ALL apps for me. Note that there are some minor bugs, which I've described below.
What you'll need to do is install a kernel that supports FauxSound (for example Zach's Kernel Playground) and the FauxSound app from Google Play. In the app you want to tap Link Headphones Gain Controls, then drag the sliders down to -20, more or less depending on how much volume you need. Personally I'm running -30, cause why not.
NOTE: Some times while idleing the app will bug out and the sound will go up and down and be louder on one side etc. What you'll need to do then is simply open the FauxSound app and drag the "PowerAmp" slider up or down. Also, unless toggled, the app will reset when phone is rebooted. Also, when scrolling through the menus in the FauxSound app it might reset the sliders for some reason :/
I hope someone will find this helpful
Hello guys, Mate 9 user since it launched but just got a M10P last week. Unrooted BLA-L29 8.0.0.141(C636patch01)
I have a few issues and I think it'll be better to put them together here.
1. I feel power saving is more aggressive. Sometimes my WhatsApp only update messages when I open the app. I've set it to manual allowed autostart, also run in background still it does that. Also in network under mobile I've ensured everything is ok.
The above problem also applies to Twitter, yahoo and others.
2. The Mate 9 has an average sound and unfortunately the 10 pro is worse. So I got two apps; volume booster GOODEV (which improved sound level) & Trumedia (which improved sound quality; bass and treble). Unfortunately, they keep going off and I'll have to reopen them. Also at reboots or if I close all open apps.
Is there a way to get them stick and work permanently?
Or is there a very good volume app that doesn't require root?.
3. I use navbar app an also roundscreen corners. Unfortunately, the roundscreen corners app overrides the overlay of navbar app. Is there a way to get them work together?
Thanks guys.
For Notification & Sync of whatsapp & other application do check ignore Battery optimizations & Launch in battery Settings. It will work for sure.

I have heard of this issue but never experienced it. I recommend leaving whatsapp on Auto in battery settings
I think the Mate 10 has great Sound. Note, that on the highest Volume Level there is a boost. It becomes notably louder but bass is goin away... for best experience use the second loudest. I dont thin you can have those apps running all the time... my mate 10 pro sometimes even kills google maps navigation while driving. I really wonder why they put 6gb ram in this phone lol
I only use the XDA navbar and it keeps working... I dont really think you can have both. Personally, proper corners are one reason why i bought the mate...hated rounded corners on my s8+

Ok, I did that in "special access" settings and it seems to be working though taking it back to auto seems to work also.
Thanks

Thanks a lot, I'll try it. Once saw it, like an iPhone x navigation I think.
You should try adding your Google maps to excepted apps for battery optimization in "special access" settings.
If you're looking to increase volume or have presets then I would recommend equalizer pro. No root required and I'm using perfectly with Spotify.
Other than that I understand you can install the audio fx APK package from lineage but it doesn't work in basic speaker mode.
