Emulators/Rom/Games on Asus Transformer Prime - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Hi
I'm looking for Emulators/Rom/Games on Asus Transformer Prime where do I find them and are they stable?
The two emulators I know of are N6401D 2.6 and Snes. Are there others.
I really like the old games. Lemmings is my favourite. Tell me all I need to know to play this games on Asus Prime
Thanks
Greg

Wrong section. Look in themes n apps section. Or just click the gamers link in my thread. Fpse(PS1), Snesdroid, Genedroid, N64oid, and NeoDroid(Neo Geo emulator) all work great on my prime.

I'm new to android and emulators in general. I understand the emulator apps can be found in the Market, but what about the games?
Does my Prime need to be rooted for me to install these games and run them? If anyone could explain the installation process quickly that would be great.

Lol...
Games are found the exact same way you found them for emulators on other operating system...
Google it!

You meed to go to themes n apps section. You might get more answers there. You need to research of first. I could easily tell you where to go but you wouldn't know how to install LR operate the emulator. Plus search can tell younall you want to know. Ask question in my gamers thread or emulator thread n someone will Assistan you.

What do you mean they don't work? Do they force close, not open, games unplayable, what? What does it say? Please clarify your question/statement.

You stated that you tried all the BIOS you can find. Remember they have to be specifically for PSX. BIOS's can be for all kinds of emulators but you need the one specifically for this. Have you tried these: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.dummies.android.FPBIOS&feature=search_result or https://market.android.com/details?id=com.psxbios&feature=related_apps ? Also, some games are just not playable by these emulators. For a compatibility list, go here: http://fpsece.net/compatibility.html . Make sure the games you have are stated as compatible before trying to use them.
Maybe I could bring up a related question here since well... this thread is right now squarely about Warez, as is any other thread on Android PSX emulators that I know about. It's one of the few cases where I can partially justify it, but that doesn't make it legal: That ROM is a copyrighted application.
Are there any ROM-less PSX emulators or open source PSX ROMs?
checked,, the games are compatible,,
and i've tried PSX BIOS,, starting from Scph1000 to Scph7502 (total = 5 BIOS-es)...

Just so you know, the games are not copyright if you: "own the original game cartridge or cd and you also must own the system or console you are emulating."

The main one which usually works is scph1001. Apart from this, does any other (apart from what you stated) game work for you?
Not really,, every game with every BIOS (including Scph1001),, the screen turns black for a second,, and back to the "choose Rom" menu...

Not talking about the games, just the ROMs... and while it may even, depending on your location, be legal to download it if you already own it, the problem is that is definitely illegal to offer it without verification that the customer actually is has the right to obtain a copy. A lot of emulators by now include their own ROM for exactly that reason (along with the ability to let a modified ROM hook into HLE mechanisms). That's why I'm asking if you know about PSX emulators that do not require Sony's copyrighted ROM.

OK. I get what you're saying, but no psx emulator has their own roms included. Usually the ones which do, are like gameboy emulators or other emulators which use roms of small sizes. The answer to your question is no. All of them require those roms to be able to be play any game. Also, from what I know of, their is no open source psx emulator so far.

What you are experiencing with the emulators is not normal. I guess you'll just have to report the problem to the devs and see if they can fix it. You could also try a new rom first if you are rooted (or willing to root your device).

GBA emulators

Is there a GBA emulator that works well on the NC (CM7)? I tried Gameboid and Mojo, but both of them repeatedly crashed whenever I tried to load something.
Gameboid works fine on my Nook with a KANG build of CM7.2. I don't know of any other gameboy emulators.
Sent from space
After searching around on the Google, I found another apk of Gameboid. Everything works now. And also unlike the first one I used, it actually uses the whole screen. Advance Wars on a 7" screen is absolutely great. Sorry to clog up the forum with a question I ended up finding the answer to on my own.
Where did you find the other apk that worked? I might like to give this a try.
Not certain if I'm allowed to repost apks, but its down there if you want it. Delete this post if its in violation of anything.
Much appreciated, thanks man.

working gbc emulator?

Hello...Gameboid is no longer at the market..so i need to find a GameBoy emulator that works with our device..
Anyone know of any good 1?
Thank you for your time..

Google is your friend.
I can't say much more than that because I'm not sure how apps that aren't in the Play Store are treated if we talk about them, based on forum rules.
Seriously though - forum rule #1...
First result of a Google search.

[Q] Problem with my ICS Neo V

Hi everybody, I started using ICS on my Xperia Neo V. When I was using Gingerbread I could play every game without any problem on my phone. Then I update my phone and the problems came I could play Modern Combat 3 without any problems on Gingerbread but now I can't play MC3. I can play Modern Combat 2 but 6-7 minutes after, I have touch problem. When I want to walk I can't or when I want to shoot, it reloads the weapon. If there is a solution, please tell me.
Thanks
-Sorry for my English.
First learn how to write good thread title, then, maybe you will get answer.
Second, search about games on ICS, you will understand that they don't work same as on GB.
I forget to put title and report it. And I am searching but can't find something useful.

Basically ICS is not game friendly OS.
It's relatively new OS and a lot of game developers didn't edit their games to work good on ICS.
And even if some of them did that, ICS is RAM hungry OS, and there is possibility that games won't work nicely.
In AOKP or AOSP rom thread's there are some andreno libs in flashable zip, some report that some games work better(or just work) after that. Search for it in those threads.
I am new at XDA-Developers so I'm going to learn things I saw a Special ROM that supports games like Gingerbread but I don't want to flash my original ROM.

Watch the xda "you are noob" video I would post link but you need practice so search it
I'm all for helping noobs, I am a noob in many areas, but there are these amazing things called search boxes on both google and the android app store, you would have spent less time and gotten a faster better answer if you had typed your question or just "emulator" into one of those. Please do not ask questions that you can answer on your own with a 5sec. search.
Now here's an anwser that couldn't be found with a 5 sec search( but probably could be found with a 60 sec search) but I'll answer it anyways
emulators are not just strait forward so here's instructions on how to use them after you find a good emulator app
If you get an emulator without getting a ROM for it that's like buying an xbox and not getting any games
Because you can't physically put a game on you emulator you just do it virtually.
Pick a game you you like. Example: if you have a n64 emulator then Mario n64 is the greatest game of all time.
Search the name of you game along with ROM example; Mario n64 ROM
Find a download for it, there are some good sites that have a lot of ROMs all in one place like coolrom or romhustler
After you have downloaded your game open your emulator and there should be an option such as "open ROM file" or "choose game"
select that and it should bring up a list of your folders,
navigate to where you downloaded you ROM which is most likely under the "Download" folder,
open the folder find your ROM that you just downloaded and select it, and you should be fine from there
<-Press the "thanks" button if I helped!
