The setup.exe from cygwin.com should do the job. But if you are serious then I recommend full linux,i.e.,ubuntu way better.

Well didn't work with Besieged 2 either.
I mean, after doing this I finally got past the installation interface saying that it got installed but after I start the game it immediatelly force closes, Chainfire 3D doesn't seem to help aswell. Can someone confirm that this really works and is not just about making the app pass installation?

You need Armv7 for Ubuntu, that's why the OP said Debian OS not Ubuntu
