Hi community.
I have Asus TF101 running on rooted 3.2.1, Revolver 3.11 ROM.
Here's situation:
I've installed from mobile market a game named Blood&Glory. It downloaded additional files, game start ok, I've played for few minutes and quit it. Later, I've decided to run it again but can't find it in installed apps. Mobile market's "My apps" also do not have it in list as if I haven't installed it ever. But web market do says that I have it installed. It was yesterday.
Today, I was going to watch some movie on my TF101, so I plugged earbuds and surprise! I was hearing music from that Blood&Glory game intro! Interesting thing is that when I plugged out earbuds, music stops playing - I can't hear it on internal speakers, but when I plug them back - I can hear various game tracks changing each other. Furthermore, it not shown in running process list. I've rebooted device and odd behavior seem disappear. I have to mention, I switched device off for night, so it feels like this game loaded when I plugged in earbuds.
I am very confused and concerned about it. Please advise how can I get rid of this nasty thing?
just format your phone.

It's a tablet. Maybe try to discover the game file name and search over /data for anything about the app, over /cache too, and maybe on the rest of the device (/sdcard and whatever is called the internal memory for media and such in devices with huge internal memory).
hi all I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get videos from android to the wii (hacked of course). I have tried to just plug in a usb cord in the back like I do for my psp but every time I go into an app for watching movies it wont show my phone. I know I can just take the sd card out but its a real pain to take the back off my phone and the case I have on it too. anyone have any ideas (besides taking out the sd)?
i'm wondering the same thing, they both have bluetooth, so maybe there's a way to stream music/video from android onto it that way? even if that isn't possible, is there a way to trick the wii into thinking it's a linux computer, and stream via wifi? (wiimc should be able to identify it at that point, no?)
i doubt anyone's going to bother trying to get this to work : (
What about a dlna server and wiimc? Does it work?
Or set up samba filesharing on android and connect from wiimc?

Yes it's completely possible (and without wires) to stream videos off your rooted Android to your modded Wii. I'll see about writing up a full guide ...
[Guide/How to]Android/Wii wireless networking solutions | Stream videos and transfer/
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2576185
... for now though I'll assume you'll want to know how I did it quickly
1. Download and install WiiMC to your Wii if you've not already done so.
www.wiimc.org
2. Download and install FTPServer to your rooted Android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lutey.FTPServer
Edit 12172013- this next suggested app should replace the previous
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nalic.app.wifishare
WiFi share is far more stable to use with the Wii ... Well for streaming with WiiMC it works but for WiiXplorer I've yet to get this app to work.
3. Set up FTPServer to point to the folders you want to share
- check the box to restrict access to other folders
- set user name and password
4. Connect your Android device to a wireless access point, for this I used an old rooted phone that has the Hotspot function but no data connection to the outside world, but you can use a wireless router instead.
5. Open FTPServer again and start the service.
6. Now to pick up the Wii mote and set up a FTP connection
- Finger up to the gear symbol, click it, and finger down to Network
- Add a new FTP (it's the option that isn't smb) and input the info from the FTPServer app; IP-address, port, username, and password.
Note: don't worry about setting a folder path in the WiiMC screen we're in right now because FTPServer will take care of this if set properly.
- Back out of the setup screen on WiiMC and finger over to the Film icon (on the far left of the screen) and you should see your new connection, click it and enjoy browsing and playing almost all your videos on your Wii.
Somethings to note; it's kinda finicky on showing anything in a directory so just press B and A on your Wii mote till it works, high resolution videos don't work well so keep it 480p or bellow, I'll say it again its really finicky so try restarting each device's connection or software one at a time till things start working.
I realize this question is from a little wile ago but felt that this answer would benefit us all. I don't know if streaming music or pictures wirelessly from Android to Wii works but video works once a directory is loaded. I'll be testing other apps, options, or crafting my own solutions shortly to work out why folders don't always show content but for right now (just got it working a few hours ago and have been watching all sorts of formats) it's great for proof of concept and home use.

Hi,
I'm very new to android tv boxes and kodi but I'm tech savvy so no issues with getting it all up and running but I do have a question about cpu core usage in kodi, is it normal for the program to only ever use two cores, even on a quad core tv box.
I was having a lot of performance issues with the mxq, especially when watching 1080p content, lots of momentary freezing etc so I brought up the overlay to see only two cores listed and they were often both maxed out. I also had buffering issues, I put the speedtest app on the box and ran numerous tests, even through a wired connection I was only getting around 15mbps over my 80mbps connection, I did read about stock firmwares on these boxes are often not that great so I found a custom rooted firmware and flashed that, that sorted out the ethernet speeds as I got 75mbps down on the first test but only two cores were ever visible or used in kodi and as they were often maxed out the performance suffered as a result.
I installed the free version of system tuner on the box and by using the app to change the cpu mode to either on demand or performance fixes it instantly, 4 cores are now being used in kodi, all buffering issues are gone, unless they're server side issues of course and I can even watch live streams in hd, something this box couldn't do without constant freezing and buffering when only having access to two cores.

What overlay are you referring to?
I'm interested in seeing if my box has the same problem.
Press 'o' on the keyboard while video is playing, you'll get the codec info overlay with a wealth of information displayed including the cpu core usage.

Perfect, I'll do that and see it I'm on the same boat
EDIT, indeed the governor was set to 2 CPUs, now it's the 4, I think this will help a lot.

Cpu governor on my box was set to hotplug, that shouldn't have been causing any issues but for some reason only two cores were ever active and used when running kodi.

As far as i know, more cores are active when more porgrams running. As for the buffering issues, momentary freezing problems seems related to internet connection speed, small RAM and Video decoding issues.

Yes, they can. One chip has limited ability to run programs and more cores and bigger RAM like Tronfy MXIV can handle that if more jobs need to do, which could prevent overheating in this way.
Apologies for joining your thread on an unrelated matter.
I am a non tech savvy newbie in awe of you guys. I have a recently bought MXQ which works fine but unlike my old android TV stick it dosent have bluetooth.
The MXQ has 4 unused USB ports and I have a bluetooth keyboard, mouse & 2 bluetooth dongles but the MXQ dosent recognise them.
Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.
Problem with MXQ box
Hi sorry but I could find how to post a new thread so I hope that someone reads this
I recently purchased a mxq box that was supposed to be fully loaded but every time I tried to set it up the same problem keeps happening firstly the screen is bright pink and positioned too far over to the right and when I press the cursor button on the remote then try to click on next the box turns itself off and I have to power the box off and back on again, I have tried to do a hard reset on it to see if it will sort the problem out but after it reboots the same thing happens again, don't suppose anyone has any ideas on how to sort it out?
I'm new to this and not that tech savvy so I will need laymans terms
Thanks
James
Really struggling with the buffering on this even on low quality. Have around 40mps intent speed which should be enough right?
Can someone explain how I find this system tuner app I'm lost.

OK I found a system tuner in the android app store. But can't find an option for changing mode from hot plug to on demand. Can anyone help?
Where are the settings located in the system tuner app?
Where to find the settings to improve performance in System Tuner.
Go to CPU Manager. Press the hot bug tab. It is a drop down menu. The bottom 2 are performance and on demand. Performance worked better for me. Less glitchy.
Hi I could really do with some advice. I'm a complete newbie when it comes to this stuff so bear with me
Bought the mxq box for my gf. Loaded up genesis (preinstalled). Most movies and shows only show links to prime wire and mrdeb. Most of these come up as no stream available or playback failed. The odd rare one plays but out of sync.
Router is in the next room. There is also a VPN as gf works from home sometimes. This blocked chromecast. Could this be the reason?
Please help. Thanks!

Have you tried inserting a USB memory stick or at her USB device to check to see if any other devices are recognized?
I'm using Rapoo wireless keyboard/mouse

Can this only be done with an actual physical keyboard, and not by bringing up an on screen keyboard?
Do the mxq boxes work only on some brands of television, i got the OTT TV box 4X 4X try to hook it up to my Toshiba TV and it kept turning the tv off, i hooked it to my Samsung and it works fine. I got another box bro unite mx android tv box and tried in on my Toshiba and it done the same thing cut tv off or won't let it come on
I got the box yesterday & all seemed to be working fine but today it wont let me watch anything. I either get an error message down the bottom right saying to check the log or it says "working..." and then just disappears without doing anything! Can anyone help? I followed instructions on how to debug but that didnt work.
It's now also saying it can't connect to server but it's fully connected to the wifi.
Specs: Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz, 2GB RAM, GMA950 Graphics, Corsair Voyager USB 3.0 USB drive
After downloading the 32bit build, I got Google Play up and running without issue and decided to install some apps. Needless to say, I've run into a handful of bugs, some pretty big show stoppers:
My mouse trackpad will scroll fine in all apps, EXCEPT Browser. I have to use arrow keys to navigate
Google Chrome runs and scrolls fine, but runs in phone mode instead of tablet mode, so tabs are missing and I just have one giant address bar
Clash of Clans opens with the taskbar missing, not returning when moused over, but the top window bar stuck on, not going away when clicked off of.
Clash of Clans takes forever to load (5+ minutes) then says it can't connect. Hitting "Try Again" will let the game load briefly then it completely resets.
Youtube will play about the first half second of a video and then audio continues while the video is frozen
Trying to pin File Manager to the taskbar caused the whole system UI to crash and restart the first 4 times I tried to pin it
Random click/popping noises from speaker that don't seem to be a part of the UI sound scheme (like it's not the subtle pop when you click on stuff)
Google Play Store will not update itself to latest version automatically (may be because it's sorta sideloaded, but I gave it like 2 hours)
Anyone else running into this, or is it unique to my setup?
Hi all,
I have a Klyde head unit for my Honda Civic, This one.
- I am running Malaysk's latest ROM from 12 Feb.
-I use CarHomeUltra as my launcher by allowing it to take over the home button (only the software button though, it will not take over the physical home button).
-I have Google Play Music set up as my preferred media player in all places I could find (Carhomeultra, headunit app, the xposed modules) and I have it setup so that it starts playing music right away by using Automagic which is an app like Tasker.
-This whole setup starts once my phone's bluetooth pairs with the head unit, at that time my phone starts a wifi hot spot and the head unit connects to it and does its thing. It all works, but it takes what seems like forever to actually start playing music. This has worked great on earlier setups that I had so I don't know if I have mucked everything up with conflicting settings in the xposed modules or not.
-It is about 30 sec to actually load up android (has been that way since a very early MCU that I was on where android loaded in like 18 sec!), this part I have come to accept. But it takes up to 3 minutes for all my steps to kick in and actually start playing the music.
-I have messed with the PCV startup app, added Google Play Music, automagic, bluetooth, carhomeultra, and anything else I could think of to speed it up. Now when android loads up, I am right at the google play music screen, so that seems to be working.
Do you guys have an efficient setup or know of the best way for me to get this working as optimal as possible? I love how we have a dedicated forum now but still find it difficult to find exactly what you are looking for.
Apologies for perhaps using the wrong forum, I have to wait to create this thread in either the "general" or "Q&A" forum.
