BETA UPDATE:
WIFI connecting,
Battery usage high compaired to DFT rom (also with camera trick)
multitouch works fine
GPS works fine also on standby
No change in volume between rom and DFT
No reboots with device 1. (unregarding touchscreen driver. Note that this phone has never rebooted also with cotulla driver, yet to test other device)
Lots of reboots with ALL touch drivers. Also hangs at DTF bootscreen (device 2) reflashed several times, even coming from WM6.5. There is a serious issue with the DFT rom. Might be regarding touchscreen drivers. Maybe wait for cotulla for fix?
Yuxi CABs installing. (activation cab. Signature/cert seems to be working).
XAP installing from IE and from ZIP.
Battery usage between touch drivers virtually the same. Cotulla seems to be a little bit faster waking up. Not much difference in normal usage between drivers. Multitouch also working on 8K driver.
Very much different battery usage between different soft radio's. Still, 5.71 seems best on my device. Needs a couple of days to settle though.
Official MS cabs installing.
Default ringtone is HTC quietly brilliant. Disappears as soon as you select ringtone (DFT issue).
Havent tried any HTC apps, never use them. So not quite sure about the drivers.
Blutooth not yet tested
Great! I am so glad HD2 is still getting better after all these years... Probably the most customized/upgraded device ever! And all this due to the great developers and cooks. Thanks Izzac, looking forward to test it once released.

I hope you can include a 22 G to 24 G extra part cab. I want to dual boot your rom with an sd rom...giving window phone 7 only 7 to 9 gigs only on my 32g sandisk memory card!

I plan on adding ALL languages for Mango, but there is an issue with the rom not booting after I've added everyone, so trying out to find which language that is causing this behavior.
About the new drivers, they will be available as a cab, as I for one rather have the ability to use TouchXplorer than the new HTC Hub

Well, according to Cotulla himself it's his touchdriver causing this, and since I changed to AnDim's I've not experienced any reboots
But leaving ALL three drivers (Cotulla, AnDim and original) in the ROM so the user can choose for him/her self
Actually, looking for someone that could code that app for the registry edit about which touch driver to use, not used to native coding for WP. Anyone interested? If so, PM me I will be very grateful if you help me out on this one
And I've now filled the spots for beta testers But if you can give me a specific reason for adding you, you're welcome to apply

Since it's based on DFT UltraFruit I'm not allowed to publish it until 27/1-2012. And I'm still working on the theme that I'll set as default for this ROM

I present to you the Shadowline Series. The roms I make are made to be cutting edge, using the latest in Windows Mobile and HTC with a mix of my own taste in graphics, tweaks, and fixes.
Because the purpose of this rom is to be cutting edge, not everything will always work as intended at all times, and that is where you come in at. I need all of you to test, and report back on what needs fixing, tweaking, or even suggestions for newer versions.
This rom, can not, and will never brick your device, unless you do not read the instructions or do something that you aren't supposed to do.
The latest HardSPL is always recommended as that is what the rom will always be based on.
If I do not implement a feature or a request, It is because it will not work, will break the intended design, or it will be worked in at a future time. But I do encourage feedback on everything as you are the ones using it, you should be the ones that have a say in it.

I just finished flashing mine. Everything seems to be running great so far.
@ redesignni, is it still doing it? if so reset, and if your old rom does not boot up, press "vol down + reset" to enter bootloader and then try flashing another rom again.

Just got my D2 last Thursday and have not installed any rom so far. Was using a Kaiser previously.
Downloading your rom now. I've been reading and it looks like I need to Hard-SPL first. After that, I'll need to run CustomRUU for Topaz.
Question, instead of running CustomRUU for Topaz, can I skip this and go for SD Card flashing instead?

THE WAY TO FLASH A ROM USING THE SC-CARD (also tnhx to jiwei1984):
1. Make sure you have HARDSPL installed (soon...).
2. Format the sd-card to FAT32 (if not already).
3. Copy the ROM (.nbh) to the root of the sd-card and rename it to topaimg.nbh.
4. Bring the device into bootloader: press and hold Volume-down button and then Power button.
5. Confirm the question to upgrade.
6. Wait for upgrade to finish and enjoy...
@zard, yes SD flashing should work, but I have not tested it (worked great on my Kaiser!)

Question: What is this ROM?
Answer: This is basically a Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM for Iolite based on 1.11.707.1 English ROM with ALL HTC Mega packages plus NaviPanel and Footprints from Iolite.

If you want to backup your Stock ROM before flashing this one, you can download the attachment in this very post, which was provided by the great mirko.prinz and figure out how to dump it. It's really quite easy. Get the attachment HERE too.
NOTE:
ROM will take its time installing, 'cause it is so compressed and is unpacking everything. It will seem like it has hanged, but it has not. Let it go all the way through, have some patience. 10 minutes will be more than enough.
1 - For those who want the oldest version (dated October 1st), that still had a few bugs, described 'till post #63, you can get it here.
2 - Download the ROM dated October 2nd, which had build number 21859 and still a few bugs described 'till post #102 by clicking here.
3 - For those that want the ROM that ONLY HAD 1 BUG (Google Maps), you can get it here and the .cab to fix the Google Maps issue here.
4 - For those that want the ROM build 21864 dated October 5th and had no Windows Update shortcut and no Bing Search widget, you can get it here.
Note that I only uploaded ROMs again because so many people asked me to and did not deserve to be withdrawn of ROMs for their devices. But if by any chance I feel that any "rookie" is disdaining my work, I will remove the ROM links for indefinite periods of time.

I tried messing around with registry for that and ended up screwing everything, so I left it like that.
I'll try to get around that some other way and keep you updated.

I recommend you this one. It's the most advanced one I have and the one I spent more time working on, trying to sort out any bugs.
Regarding Wifi, it's turning ON just fine from Comm Mananger, thanks to g77's input...

I have come many a times across ROM's in this forum but never had the chance to try one myself because I was afraid of loosing everything I have on my touch cruise 09 phone.
I have finally decided to try this one but before going any further I would definitely need some support on this. First question would be the one regarding Asian ROM functionality. Is it a language pack, is it something connected to Windows itself or just some features I may never use?

The Asian Reference is regarding the HTC Mega (not the Iolite) ROM from where I got the packages. I removed every Asian related characters and stuff... There is nothing Asian about it, nor about Windows itself.
Be my guest and flash away.
Don't forget to Hard-SPL first.

This rom has some bugs, such us camera.It has problem with brightness.If you know how to do good work camera it was been very good!

The camera port is from the Tornado kitchen inherited from Nitrogenious. The bug is there ever since and the only "cure" was to add a menu item "Reset Brightness" via resource hacker. You find it in the English and German locale and would need to update the Russian just the same. Menu ID calls some existing option that effectively does a "reset brighness".

I have not done much to the XIP, but I think that the SPL options usually don't work. This may be the hacking of the SPL, no clue here myself.

I have updated the kitchen folder with the file you supplied and given instructions to replace the ddi.dll folder content. It works now also with my builds.
From the size it looks identical to the one I had inside - where did you take your ddi.dll from? I believed that the many changed bytes in the various ddi.dll of the same size come from the relocation process - so I did not bother to try out different ones from the various other WM6 builds I had (all of same size).

Could you upload to mediafire? They have a great free services and no download limits - by far the best free share-hoster! I have all my ROMs and Kitchen there - nothing ever deleted or expired so far.

When completed yet WM 6.1'll post some screenshots of WM 6.5 on qtek 8200. Language of build English!
Good news - once the OEM adaptation is done, the OS version porting should not be a big thing - except the time you spend. I personally see little benefit in anything after WM6, for WM6.1 it is the WMplayer showing album art (but I use Pocket Player anyway) and sliding panels on Homescreen (but I use my own homescreen) - for WM6.5 I can't remember what was better than WM6.1.
XIP will not benefit much either in WM6.1 or WM6.5 as the nk.exe is OEM dependent and has to stay on the old level, hence only supporting slot0/1 for allocation.
Also mind that the GSM Radio part is not supporting some later features of the OS (like NITZ - Network Information Time Zone).
The only thing missing in my eyes for Hurricane (or even Typhoon) is the HCSD card support. This is however dealing with OEM adaptations from different devices where chance of success porting is very small. I have only found very few devices using the same OMAP750 chipset. In PDADB some claim to be OMAP 750 (e.g. MONET) but they are OMAP 850. I have ROMS/dumps from Ginza MS100, Lenovo ET600 and Ubiquio 501 (all OMAP 750) but I have not spent (and will not) any time in porting their SD card drivers to the Hurricane.
For Typhoon I found only one single other device - the Imate SPL - where later custom ROMs claim to have HCSD card support.

First, I use one of the latest WM builds 29020( newest is 29022)
reported by well respected Devs and cooks ( as was brain's last WM Build used in his beta) to be stabile,fast and good on battery management, all of which I can confirm. As well, i use the latest Oboe 1.18 2021 core, updating the entire core which includes a few from Oboe 2022.
The main new feature Full LandScape is actually built into the structure of the phone canvas rebuilt by Laurentius26 and includes rebuilt 409 core and new caller ID fixes.
Second, Obviously I used his kitchen so I was very mindful of tweaks,settings and fixes that help functionality and stability.
Last, the only way for one to know is to try the rom!! but obviously either no one has flashed or cares to leave important feedback so that we can know for sure.
I'm sorry for you guys here on S200 NeoTouch forum that there is not allot of activity.
BUT, its very nice that someone is still cooking ROM for the Acer.
I moved from HD2 to Nexus S, and I'm now cooking the MIUI ROM for Nexus S. (See the signature) - if someone is moving to Nexus S, you are welcome to use my MIUI ROM.

although I just dowloaded,installed and tried to play this game but it was
the wrong version. But the screen (g-sensor) still worked fine

I flash the rom yesterday. Its everythings good.
I chek the ezinput menu, sense is disabled and i adjust the g sensor sensitivity slider but the turn function not working in the game.
I read the comments in other threads but nothing happens. In Brainmasters Rom the game was working good!

I have to say that I'm a bit confused and disappointed
cooking for me started out as a curiosity then through studying brainmasters kitchen and many,many days, nights and hours of research,trial and a whole lot of error, I finally got it.
This project\rom was only to be a personal challenge then many of you started to ask for newer builds ( some resorting to vulgar posts!) even after i tried to point some of you in the direction of proven Roms in particular from brainmaster and arto. But the complaints continued coupled with little or no activity here in the forum so I decided to share in hopes of sparking a little life here. Maybe It did, maybe it didn't... but my point was to contribute something to a community that gave my phone continued life! so in this i am satisfied
I didn't do this as a competition or for any kind of glory or gain what so ever. But i I must say( with no bad intentions or mean to offend anyone) to have someone question the usefulness of personal expression,with "what's new" or ask for a package when the answer is clearly written in the first post ( Cracing-OBOE 1.18 ext.)or having no idea whether the rom truly works or aside from two posters, whether anyone even downloaded it in the first place....not to mention guys still downloading "DISCONTINUED" Roms
I now understand why feedback is IMPORTANT!! and you should too!! because
what to fix,tweak or replace makes for a better Rom and benefits everyone!
Anyway, my most humble apologies 'cause no one asked or forced me to do this! and many thanks to Brainmaster,Woaloo and the two members that posted and said thanks I will leave the link to the Rom for anyone who maybe able to use it.

so far i'm on galaxy s now, my wife is still using my S200 and i will try to install your new rom on it (if she agree... not sure lol)
Anyway a friend of mine has just crashed is S200 and he asked me to reflash the rom, so i will try your rom asap
Sorry for the poor feedbacks but i think that the number of S200 users is decreasing by now...
about NFS shift, i leaved some messages about it in the past and if i remember you need the HTC and TG01 sensor dlls to make it work and moreover you need to delete 1 specific file in the directory game i think

KNOWN ISSUE: RANDOM REBOOTS are not caused by SD card or other issues.
They are caused somehow by new touch screen driver
At least with old touch screen driver ROM doesn't reboots.
Somehow it's related with CPU power.
I am still testing & looking for issue.
After a hard and long work during year, our team proudly presents our ROM:
Features
*Heavy improved camera quality*
The quality of photos now is almost same as in original WM65 ROM
But still some minor issues presents.
Was implemented "Special camera keys" mode:
During active camera you can use VOL DOWN button as focus and GREEN button as shot button.
Also you can make shots via screen taps.
*Was implemented ability to change keyboard layout*
Green, Home, Win and Back keys are remappable.
ROM contains "Settings Ex" application which was done by ultrashot.
*New touch screen driver*
With better multitouch support and fingers tracing.
Unfortunately some problems still exist, like very close positions of the fingers are considered to be equal.
Seems it's issue of touchscreen hardware and can not be fixed via software.
Touchscreen wake up time decreased, but still near 200 ms.
*Sound quality was improved. Volume levels was fixed.
*Keylight works now*
Default timeout time is 10 seconds.
*WLAN: Activated Internet sharing*
MAC address now is fixed after reboot and different for different devices.
*Power drain issue after reboot was fixed.
*ROM is Full Unlocked. So you can install and run native applications.
*You can install XAP files from internet.
Used XAP Deployer by ultrashot with ability to update already installed applications.
*ROM can be updated, for example to the newest build 8107.
After update Full Unlock still works.
SD card not locked after update. Stay unlocked.
*Contains built in registry editor and file explorer applications (their author is Julien Schapman)
*Contains built in HTC Flashlight, Connection setup and Photo Enhancer.
*Many other files was taked from the new WP7F ROMs.
*Added device picture in Zune (author is HD2Owner)
*Market space access fixed. Device now has "HTC Schubert" name.
About new MAGLDR
At the current moment I am releasing this ROM without new MAGLDR, because it's not ready yet.
New MAGLDR is not ready because I got much more issues and several times started development almost from scratch.
In the future new MAGLDR will provide features for Ultrafruit and other LEO WP7 ROMs.
Installation1. Install MAGLDR113
2. Enable "Use Last 24 Mb" option inside menu.
3. Use unlocked SD card.
4. Flash via DWI UltraFruit to phone
Distribution
1. You are free to distribe this ROM, but only WITH LINK to official source

This mean you need enable "Use Last 24 Mb" in MAGLDR.
After enable try to flash again.
