Controlled with an Xbox 360 controller. I'm not that good as you can see I died a few times on easy setting
Interesting to note that it displays movies only on the TV, but in-game rendering on both screens.
Looks just as good as Gears of war on HD big screen. PRIME/tegra3 is a beast. Can't wait to see more games come out optimized for it or even better original titles made from scratch for tegra3.

Not sure if it's the video or not, but it seems to take a noticeable hit to the frame rate with 3D turned on. Understandable though
What do you do to use an XBox controller with the prime?=

You can use a wired 360 controller and just plug it straight into the usb port.
If you want to use a wireless 360 controller, you will need to use the PC wireless 360 receiver. Simply using the usb cable charger to connect will not work.

Did this last night with both Shadowgun and Riptide GP on my 3D Sammy and noticed some subtle differences aside from framerate droppage. The most noticeable is the lack of water splashes on the screen in Riptide. I'm guessing the Tegra3 just can't do 3D as well as say a GTX580.
It's still beast though..just a slightly smaller one.

Are you OC'd to 1.6 GHz? I wonder how much of a difference that will make for 3D.
I agree that shadowgun is awesome on the Prime.
But there's a huge problem when i try to play it with my wireless xbox controller using the dongle.
My charter keeps spinning to the left. I heard that this app can fix the problem.
But for just shadowgun it's a bit expensive.

I have a slow spin problem, but that's because my analog sticks are worn down and don't exactly sit in the center dead zone anymore

And how about the logitech wireless controller?
Have you guys noticed any noticeable 3d effect when connect the prime to a 3dtv? I connected mine to my 3dtv running shadowgun/riptide, the 3dtv then switches to 3d mode, however I don't see any difference in the picture with or without 3d glasses. I have tried setting the 3d slider to 100% in settings > hdmi, however I dont see any noticeable depth in the picture. Please let me know what you guys experience with your prime.

What resolution / color depth etc does the TV out give? Does it work properly with an AT&T Tilt 2 (I hear there are carrier restrictions).
Can it stream movies decently (SD card or online streaming, if bandwidth allows)? Where's a good place to get one?
Thanks
I've been using the tv out feature a lot on my tilt2. Works great! can watch movies using core player, play snes using morphgear, I even bought a little 7" tv for my car, and will be testing some different nav programs. sorry i don't know specs, but i would imagine its 800x680 like the phone. I used to use my laptop to play movies on the tv, and surprisingly the tilt2 does a better job. definately a worthy 12 $ investment! also, dont buy from china unless you want to wait 2 months!
TV out isn't a resolution in the sense of a computer screen (pixels). It is NTSC composite video, with a 4:3 aspect ratio and 525 scan lines, some of which are used for VBI and thus not on the screen. Which is fine for images/video and such but unsuitable for web browsing or anything with lots of small details.
Given the above, if your video file is not too high res for the TP2 to play in general, it should have no trouble showing it via TV out.
As for online, I have streamed using 3G both Youtube and Slingbox, and used TV out to display it on my Pioneer AVH-4000 in my car with no problems (other than the flicker that is discussed elsewhere).
Don't know about AT&T limitations since I have Verizon. Got my cable via Amazon.
ok, so no HD... I wonder, is it NTSC/PAL selectable for travelling?
The flicker issue in regards to the phone+cable, or the Pioneer unit?
Thanks

Mine gives me the option to choose which one when I plug in the TV out cable.
So, how does it look on a widescreen HD TV (21")? Does it stretch, or is that up to the TV?
I've been using it on a 42" TV to show photos and it looks fine, no lag etc and it goes portrait mode.

might be what you looking for
I got this one from boxwave. It's great because it also has an adaptor so you can charge the mobile at the same time as using TV-out, and it's only $19.

Tried 3d gaming and its ****ing awesome, games don't stutter at all, only shadowgun thd stutter just a bit, considering the gpu is running 2 displays at once +3d seems quiet amazing I wonder how the high Res tf700 will do, anyways is there no way connect HDMI while being docked, it doesn't seem to work..... I wanted to lay in my bed with the Xbox controller and play 3d, but I can't.....is there a way to make it work ?

Hey guys GTA vice city is on android
Yet not available on play store!
But here is a video
I've been trying it, since i couldn't wait for official release (i'll buy it if i like it as soon as it is avaliable),
100% resolution, max details gets quite laggy when rainning. I've tried 80% resolution, high detail, and it keeps lagging. Maybe its because my ****ty version, thats what it is. And moreover,i though graphics would be way better. The textures are worse than Counter Strike, a 1999 pc game.
Thread closed for warez links. Let's wait until it's released on the Play Store to have a discussion about the gameplay on XDA.
Now available on play!
Smooth like butter.

That just makes me think I got a faulty device more. My battery life sucks, too. So, is there any benchmark app for Nexus 10 that I can use to make sure?

Hmm, on GTA III, anything above 50% was a noticeable FPS drop, with 100% being the worst FPS drop. It was consistently low FPS though, which some people might of been able to stand (I couldn't lol). Not sure if that's the same case with Vice City or not though, but I have a feeling it will be.

Actually Vice City runs much better than GTA III on the Nexus 10, for whatever reason .
Here's a video review of Vice City on the N10:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjKLORW0MlQ
Check out this guys channel for excellent hands on Nexus 10 reviews and comparison as well. He compares it to the iPad 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 4, and Transformer Prime in almost every facet imagineable. Web browsing, general speed, gaming, hardware design, screen resolution and brightness, boot up time, camera tests, hdmi out, etc.. etc... Probably the most thorough and unbiased reviews of the Nexus 10 out there.

Runs great on my N10 at the highest settings. A lot better than on my one x which has a much smaller screen!
Hi! I'm looking for advice for a bluetooth gamepad that could be coupled with a tablet as a mobile gaming platform to be connected to TVs. Simple right? Well, I'm picky. The Wii mote isn't a good controller for real games like shooters and racing sims, so its out. The Nyko Playpad seemed great at first, but it has terrible range ... anything over 10 feet from the tablet and the latency feels like its over 500ms. Years ago I played with the PS3 controllers, but at least then you had to use the Sixaxis app and it was ... not consistent enough (in that regard the Nyko controller is much better).
Does anyone know of one that is all around solid and offers the typical dual stick, 4 button gamepad, and is bluetooth?
Thanks.
I would like one as well, but was unable to find one to work on android and windows. I will say that you can hook up the classic controller to the wii mote and play like that. I did this with 2 players on my razr (when it was new) playing golden eye. It was really a pain squinting for that little screen but it worked really well with the classic controllers hooked to the wiimote.
1) Smart Dock works with Note 3
2) Performance is cut up to half naturally because two 1080p screens are being displayed.
Example:
Anomaly 2 benchmark for the high benchmark I would score over 600k normally, with HDMI I would only score above 300k.
Just in case anyone was wondering.

Interesting finding, thanks for that! The question now would be: Do you really FEEL the difference in everyday context? Like browsing the web, writing stuff, switching windows, watching videos (playing games )? Or is only a benchmark ("look what a monster my device is") thing?

If you compare it directly to the non-hdmi experience then yes you will "feel" it. It still is a smooth experience - just not "buttery" smooth. The performance is still acceptable for most things outside of the most demanding apps and games.
Interesting to note that while most things will be mirrored, playing videos using the default video app plays it only through hdmi. A 4K video I took was not mirrored and thus played perfectly over hdmi. Youtube and netflix were mirrored on both screens, and never got to high resolution like it does on my roku/xbox./ps3.

Hmm,...that´s quite sad of course - would be damn nice if the note 3 would be able to replace these devices completely.
