Please let us know if you'll find a working root method for this firmware. Thanks!
sucessfully updated my device firmware nothings new in this.
hi all, i also manage to update the firmware to s51se 061 but there is no changes
still under 2.3.4 but i think its smooth a bit.
The problem is i can't root my phone. I already use all the method that i can find.
but not successful.
any idea's?
the only way to root it is to flash the KRsH Kernel v2.0,then reboot ,and use doomlord's methods to root ,it works

There's more software than just OS (Android) on a Smartphone. Did the Baseband or any other version change?

forget it, .58 and .61 are also in st15i list but we still didn't get .58 yet
Hi all,
I manage to install 0.61 and root it.
once u all install 0.61 s51se on your st15i,
flash kernel KRsh 2.0 then use flash 5.3 to root it.
its really work for me without any problem.
try it.

Yes cause you can't root ics for mini pro. You have to downgrade and then root downgraded firmware, use local-prop and then upgrade to ics without wiping data, then run push-root-files and you should have rooted ics!
Well i have tried flasttool, Binary's solutin and neither of them have worked. Have anybody even rooted 6.1.1.B.1.54 or the only solution is to roll back?

Yes, first flash with flashtool B10 Kernel, then root with Binary's method, then flash B54 kernel, and you're done
Remember, only flash the kernels with flashtool, so u wont lose any data, nothing else
Regards
Thanks mate, it worked.

Flash 6.1.1.B.1.54 kernel only
You're done
I Searched for tutorial but didn't find any
Auto Root
I think you should find and flash a kernel with auto root in it's features.
This can help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1829729

Didn't you read my reply above friend ?
Check it, that's the only procedure on locked bootloader
You know how to flash only kernels outta a firmware ?
If not then check the screenshot attached. Mark the same in flashtool
You can get the 6.1.1.B.1.10 firmware from here talk.sonymobile.com/thread/35239
And .54 you already have

Yes, but do not flash the whole firmware.
Just flash the kernel, I uploaded an attachment in my reply above that tells you how to flash kernel only.
So fash .10 kernel
root using bin4ry
flash .54 kernel
easy
where can i find the .54 firmware?
