ICS App Compatibility with 2010 Minis - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi all,
I'm using the 2010 X10 Mini but as we know, if it works on the Mini, it will likely work in the Mini Pro and X8 too. If not, do let us know!
These are tested on this ROM for the X10 Mini: [ROM] CM9 ICS 4.0.3 - REL1 [X10 Mini] by Paulxxx (thanks!)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1435596
-If your app is slow, e.g. a game, go to apps and move it to the SD card, that made it run faster for me
-Newer versions of the apps sometimes work
Confirmed working on CM9 ICS 4.0.3 - REL1 [X10 Mini] by Paulxxx:
Alchemy
Angry Birds
Fruit Ninja (works but is slow like 2.1)
Glow Hockey 2
Root Explorer (only the newest version)
Ram Manager
SE Phonebook and dialer (mostly working)
SE digital clock widget (two kinds)
SetCPU (gingerbread version)
Titanium Backup (Gingerbread version)
NOT working yet
(most of these were gingerbread versions, updated versions will
possibly work)
Angry Birds Seasons (touchscreen stops responding)
Compass (exact name of the app)
Go SMS Pro (latest gingerbread version force closes after a few moments)
MiLocker
MIUI Gallery
SE Arc Home (there are about 1,000 versions, I don't know which, it works then stops)
SE Notes
SE status widget
Walkman (original or ICS mod)

works
Sms Backup & restore
Handcent Sms

can you put these se dialer and phonebook apk , please?
i need them for a little work

[Q] Launcher Pro not working on X10 mini/mini pro [ANSWERED]

Hi fellow X10 mini (pro) owners
We already know that there are problems with finding all apps and games, as most won't show in the market.
But now I want to install Launcher pro (which i found on their website) and it can't be installed.
Is there a way to change things to apps that they can be installed or is this a really a screen size problem for which it won't work?
Anybody els tried to install it?
It is only made for Android 2.1 and 2.2.
X10 is 1.6 (Donut).

thx guys, fair enough.
I should have known, but I'm so used to having 2.1 on my HTC hero now that I forgot that there was an older android on some phones.

Me too
try adwlauncher, works awesome on my X10mini
its free and you can download it on the market
have fun
I use Home++ beta which also works very good.
I recommend HelixLauncher Donut - works great
ADW and Helix works perfect.SlideScreen is interesting but need improve.
Well... Proclaiming that Helix Launcher works perfect is somewhat of an overstatement...
It brings two nice additions to the table:
1 - Several widgets on one screen (Allthough it is impossible to achieve good looks in doing this, since most widgets are not well adapted to the small screen)
2 - All apps on one long page in the drawer...
Everything else is equal or worse than the original SE homescreen. It is a little bit more laggy than the original (sometimes - definately not noticably smoother/faster at least), and you loose functionality like beeing able to uninstall app's easily (two-click operation on original) which you will be doing alot when playing around in the market...
If the 2.1 update from SE adds theme'ing, multiple widgets and the possibility of a one-page app drawer, then there will be no point in installing these third party home screens for any other reason than adding a little fiddle-around-effect.
But... Who needs a better reason anyway? Check them all out, that's what I say )
Just to let you know, I have x10 mini pro and it works like a charm! It actually made my phone just x100 time more beautiful and useful.

[Q] X10 cm7rc1 002 wallpapers

Hello all,
I was using the custom rom gingerbread cm7rc1 v001, and i noticed the cmwallpapers i could choose from the wallpaper setter. I have since installed the 2nd release, 002 and have noticed the cmwallpapers have now dissapeared from the menu.
Was this the plan, and is it possible to install them again?
I have searched and found cmwallpapers.apk on other forums but these arent the same pics.
Any info would be brill, ta.
Ben.
Also, anybody having trouble with facebook with the new rom cm7.0 gingerbread, causing the phone to reboot with white led, I also had the problem until I removed a facebook widget on the home screen. I found that using the app launcher pro caused me lots of problems when my phone booted, removed it, all better.
Regards, Ben.

[PROBLEM] Mobisystems dictionaries: Icons don't stay placed in HOMESCREEN

http://www.mobisystems.com/product/569_1_16/2.12/CollinsEnglishDictAndThes.apk
http://www.mobisystems.com/product/900_1_16/2.12/VOXGeneralAndThes.apk
If you install only one dictionary, there is no problem. But if you install 2 or more, the dashboard icons have a conflict, and when you reboot they appear at the end of the last screen. Icons don't stick in the possition you put them.
I'm using a SE X10 mini with the latest 2.1 official update. I'd like to know if you can replicate your problem in the mini / mini pro / and other phones. The two links are direct downloads (500kb only) for 2 dictionaries (7 day trial). No need to download the offline data or even run the apps to check the problem.
Thanks.
No one tested it?

Xperia S apps for Xperia arc ICS?

i i upgraded today my arc into ICS and im looking for the xperia S apps for ARC like the widgets, the music player and so but for the ICS version.
is it even available?
also can you guys give me the original home.apk of ICS because i like it more then sony's one.
thank you
Stock ICS Launcher
There are a few versions of the Stock ICS Launcher available on the Play Store/Market for download
I believe "Apex Launcher" may be something you want, or "Nova Launcher" do a search for both or either
For a comparison - Google "Apex vs Nova Launcher" and click the first link
Alternatively, you can get the Trebuchet, the stock ICS Launcher from CyanogenMod 9, I have attached the zip file that you should flash with Clockwork Recovery, I think Trebuchet is the fastest, but I just use stock Sony Ericsson Home and so haven't really looked into it
*BARE THIS IN MIND*
When using any launcher other than Sony Ericsson Stock, certain widgets will become unavailable, such as the music widget and the Timescape addon, as well as maybe other things - this is what stops me from switching from stock home
Hope I helped
- Jack
*EDIT*
For Xperia S apps and widgets, take a look at this thread, it says Arconium v7 but it's likely to work on any stock based roms - I personally cannot guarantee this although you should be fine
