I am using Dolphin browser HD on robeet's Brilliant Corners 1.3.1 with adobe flash player 10.3. When visiting certain websites with embedded video I get " must update adobe flash player to view this video" Can I update adobe flash on a froyo based rom? Thanks

The 2 time that always worked good for me where Beasty/Clemsyn Ultimate and Calkulin+Clemsyn version 8. Both worked great and no issues with flash player update. Currently using Flashback 10.3 and was able to install the latest flash 11 from market. Gingerbread based roms also haven't had any issues. Good luck and happy hunting.

3. Reboot the phone and all done .
additional notes:
* make sure to have "unknown sources" enabled on settings > applications.
* it won't work on opera mini.

It is possible to run flash on Android 2.1 (a modded version ). It won't work with Opera though. Opera started supporting flash from Adobe flash player 10.3+ while the version hacked to run on Android 2.1 is 10.1. It's attached if you need it (should work in stock browser; do not expect it to run ultra smooth with hardware acceleration support ).

Its the other way around, Chrome doesn't support flash player. What it boils down to is the fact that Adobe had announced last fall they were ending support for it soon and now Jelly Bean will not have flash support at all, although it may work unofficially.
