Hi,
Ive got a problem. My ace keeps rebooting every time when my wi fi is on. Every 5 minutes. I'm using the myth ace rom.
Any suggestions of what's wrong or anything I can do?

Reflash the ROM and make sure you have not enabled any system tweaks. If still does not solve the problem, redownload the ROM and install via CWM v5.0.2.6. If nope again.. just use another ROM.
The myth has this issue. Try some other rom. Make KPD as your base rom.

Hi my phone is on cm7.2 RC and my phone keeps freezing and restarting. I don't know what to do. Btw this is the first custom rom I've been on so I'm a noob

Maybe you have overclocked it to a too high frequency, try 864mhz or lower. If that's not the problem you should try reflashing the rom and remember to do all the wipes properly.
Make sure its not overclocked too high. And check how much ram you are using.

i would try re flashing that rom, if rooted, install adfree, run this, your problems should be fixed.

Sometimes this may due to low internal memory ...
Or
Reflash it -- :thumbup:wipe cache partition.

Which CM7.2 rom are you using?
Are you using any mod/ram script with this rom?

Hey folks. I'm having problems with not getting the setup welcome screen on factory reset. I have flashed countless roms over the past few weeks and never had a problem. It's ok when I flash custom roms but when I come to flash official rom on my sgs2 there's no welcome screen just goes straight to main screen. Please advise.
One more point us that this doesn't happen when I flash gingerbread official.

Please note that I am running ics official from 3uk

Thanks but that just reset my phone and formatted my sd cards. Still no sign of the welcome setup screen just boots and goes into main screen.
Still an issue
Try flashing a firmware with its stock rom..
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Done that too. It only comes up when I load a custom rom, never official stock rom apart from official gingerbread. Bizarre I know
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Bizarre it is,
Using cwm format cache system data preboot
Wipe dalvik
Download stock ROM flash using Odin.
If still issues I'll be going crazy lol
Arrrgh the problem still persists. I'm beginning to wonder if this has something to do with the root directory.

Why is this so important?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
It's not overly important but it's bugging me. I generally know my way round Android but this has really stumped me. It's bothersome.

The welcome-screen-intro-thingy is part of the Google apps package - if Google apps aren't installed you wont get it. Are Gapps installed on your rom? If yes, try re-installing them.
They are, I'm running stock but have rooted and installed them to check if I was missing something.
Sadly nothing solved. I'm giving up on this now.

try fixing permissions
Also, you may try flashing a diffrrent kernel
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Tomorrow after charging... gonna do wipe battery stats and fix permission (what does this fix permission do actually?)... if then I have no succes... I'll flash a stock rom.
Btw I think he restarts in the sleep or wake proces... Though I never play with overclocking and undervolting.
Thanks for the quick replies!

Flashing a stock ROM would do no good. I suggest you flash a full stock firmware because I had the same problem with you back with my s2 and i just flashed another kernel and it did the job
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Yeah actually I meant stock firmware. But the wipe battery stats and fix permissions did it for me... niice! Thanks xda!

It was fix permissions that did it, battery stats are wiped whenever you charge the phone.
