ICS soft home button not working - TouchPad General

Hi. I was using alpha 0 for several days and flashed alpha 0.5 yesterday... Gapps was giving me some trouble so I played around with it and reflashed alpha 0.5
Now both the soft home button and hard home button does not work...
What can I do to fix it?
If reflashing is an easier way... what would be the best way to do it?

Did you do a full wipe before flashing? If not, wipe and flash.

[Q] Home Button stoped Work after reset factory

Hi,
I use cyanogem in my i9100 since the 9 version. Now I´m on 10.1 always with the latest nightly.
The problem I´m having is that after a reset factory default, the home button stopped work.
I know that the home button is OK because I have made an backup with CWM and if I restore this backup, it all works perfectly.
2 months ago, I have tried the same reset, but with the same results, and I think could be an version problem, but this persists 2 months later.
I have search the forums, but haven´t find a solution to my problem.
Any help wold appreciated.

[Q] Lost: Nexus 4 - uXYLON_4.2.2_2.9.0

Just flashed the uXylon rom to a brand new N4, using CWM.
The problems I'm getting are:
Browser tries to open and does opening animation and short press vibration, but doesn't open
Navigating/Navigation ring hovers over home button and home button unusable, though vibrates on press
Trying to download GApps or anything else through Goo.im or CWM just doesn't work.
I tried looking through the uXylon official thread and couldn't find any answers, and tried the basics of going through settings and wiping cache & dalvik. None of this did a thing, and the N4 Toolkit by Mark Skippen couldn't even reflash the stock ROM.
Absolutely anything I'm missing would be extremely appreciated.

[Q] Home Key single press not working!

Hello peeps,
I have a problem with the home key in S3. Single press does nothing i.e doesn't come to home screen. If i am not wrong it happened after some app updates. The key itself is working fine because holding it brings up the task manager. The launcher is Golauncher ex,changing launchers didn't fix it.
Anyone had it before? I am waiting to see if something can solve this before factory reset.
Could be a rom related option to customize hardware keys, I'd suggest going through rom settings. If you're running stock then I think the only solution is to factory reset your phone..
factory reset made it work and then after some app installation didnt work again. Back to a nandroid old version and no auto update app.

Back & Menu buttons not working, nor keyboard

I'm really hoping someone can help me. My back and menu buttons stopped working today, and I'm pretty sure it has to do with a failed Swype install.
I'm running AOKP 4.4.2 (1/25 build) on my VZW Galaxy S4 (jfltevzw). The phone has been running great, but I can't stand the new kitkat keyboard. I decided to try Swype again, after dumping it a few years back.
I installed the free Swype (which obnoxiously comes with Dragon also), but I couldn't get past step two (select default keyboard). The wizard just wouldn't progress further. I went into the menu to try switch manually, but I trying to type would just bring up the installer again. I tried switching back to the stock keyboard via Settings>Language, but nothing would happen when I tried to type. The only thing I could do was reboot.
When I booted back up, the menu and back buttons would no longer work. I tried clearing dalvik and cache, resetting permissions, reinstalling AOKP and Gapps, and so on and so forth. I'm backing everything up to do a hard wipe, but I'm not holding my breath.
Has anyone seen this problem before? Is it failing during the Swype install just coincidence? I can't see how it could be....
After a hard-reset / factory wipe, everything is working again.
I will not be installing Swype on AOKP/KitKat again, hehe.
